Clean and convenient but bare minimum

The motel is so close to the boardwalk and beach so no need to pay for parking! The room was super clean and looked like it had been refreshed recently. We had a double room. Mini-fridge and a tiny microwave. A patio style table with two chairs for seating inside the room.

The room was so small with the absolute bare minimum. No hair dryer, no bar soap for hand washing. We stayed on a holiday weekend and there was not enough parking. There is no enforcement of the one car per room rule.

I arrived at the hotel at 8:10pm, the office was closed, It had a sign in the window stating "For emergencies, call ..." it did not state, or if it did, it was very confusing or unclear, so I went to a different location and did not stay there. As of now they refuse to refund me my monies. Will never recommend them, even if the sign said for check in call..., I didn't stay there, cost them nothing, and I'm sure they were not sold out and turned other people away. September is the slow session in Point Pleasant. They should refund me the money. I would hope Booking will apply some pressure, otherwise I may start looking at another "Booking" site, There are quite a few out there.

no maid service the entire stay, not enough towels, bed was small, asked for coffee maker and none was provided, owner very rude, argumentative and lies (in person as well as through emails -booking.com messages to prove it. she should get out of the hospitality business), had to wait for someone to get into the office in order to check in, bathroom has no counter space to put toiletries, the back wall inside the bathroom sink cabinet is card boarded up with duct tape instead of tiled wall exposing back fixtures and numerous open crevices where pests can enter, gouges in mirror, poor lighting, mattress was sunken in the middle and is a small full (ad for queen room was misleading in this regard), AC was iffy at working, door knob sticks and needs attention - key wouldn't turn. Overall cheap needs attention if you are wanting to be a good host, you have no business being crabby and providing the least at a big price.

Good

Good location to walk to beach and boardwalk area and to downtown restaurants and shopping. Frig was on so when we arrived it was ready to hold our food and drinks. Freezer section kept our ice paks frozen. Mattress was firm which I find comfy.

Only one hook on the door to hang our towels. A shortage of hangers so I picked some up at Dollar Tree ($1.25) which was not a big issue. Left them in the room.

I enjoyed the location and would stay again

Staff was very nice. Even upgraded my room so I did not have to switch mid stay because of other pre-existing reservations

The only thing I would have liked was some hangers in the closets and maybe an iron. Other than that all was good

Great stay. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area.

VERY clean. VERY good location to the boardwalk. Staff was very pleasant.

There wasn’t a coffee pot and there wasn’t anywhere to hang hand towels or towels after a shower. One other negative was the shower liner wasn’t long enough so the bathroom floor flooded after every shower.

Location was excellent, staff was friendly, room was very small.

Room was very small, with only a clothing bar in a small dark corner which made it difficult to find our clothes. There was nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom.

I would definitely stay again and recommend.

The room was adorably decorated, my 15 year old actually commented on how clean it was, there was plenty of space for my kids and me, and it exceeded my expectations for a beach motel.

The beds were not very comfortable.
