The location was really close to Gainbridge Fieldhouse and lots of restaurants.
Our stay was a bit of a flop. When we stayed the hotels servers went down so they could not give us a room key, so anytime we left the room we had to be escorted back up by someone at the desk. We eventually got keys but this was an inconvenience. Then the pool was closed because someone got sick in it so that was disappointing to my kids but I understand why they closed it. For an Omni hotel this one was really old and outdated, not quite the level of luxury we were expecting for an Omni. The bathroom was really outdated and the toilet was exactly what you have in a public restroom.

I loved my balcony, and the location was close to the convention center and Lucas Oil Field.

The hotel is in a beautiful building and has cozy decor in the lobby. The rooms are nice with comfy beds and nice toiletries (the Omni partners with Nest and the shampoo and body wash were "Sicilian orange" which smells amazing). There was plenty of space in the room for two of us and our bags for the Indy 500. The hotel location is very central to Indianapolis and the city is pretty walk-able. The valet was easy to use as well.
No complaints!

The staff at the front desk was very helpful, offering water to us while we checked in and then later helping us determine if their shuttle would take us to the zoo.
It was just a little thing but the bathroom wallpaper was peeling a bit and there was nowhere for you to put your towel while you were in the shower so that it was in easy reach, so we had to put it on top of the toilet, which is not very sanitary.

Hotel in general, staff and room service
My bathtub nozzle fell off the wall. I had to shower with a very small stream of water. If I turned the water up, the nozzle sprayed water all over the bathroom. I was on a tight timeframe and could not change rooms.

The rooms at Omni Severin Hotel were quite spacious and the location of the hotel was great to explore the city and walk to several restaurants in downtown. The bed was big and comfortable. There was a great selection of paid breakfast choices.
It was very noisy at night from the traffic and night life outside. In comparison to 4-star-European standards, the rooms in the hotel were a little bit outdated. Parking your on car at the hotel is quite expensive.

Beautiful building but the employees are the stars of this hotel. Everyone was super friendly. Very accommodating and helpful.
The price to park our car.

The location, the room, and the staff were great.
I was told the WiFi would be free for members. When I arrived I had to pay, but the receptionist reassured me that the charges would be removed at the end. They were not removed and I was charged $30. The WiFi was also advertised as 25Mbps, but was closer to 2Mbps and disconnected frequently.

Staff was amazing, especially the bartenders Victor and Brandy!! Victor gave us recommendations for entertainment and beverages and food around town that made our trip 10 times better.
The place was a little dated, pool could use an update, fixing problems in our room, like there was a whole in the wall from a previous guest, was fixed cheaply, no fan in the bathroom was odd.

Staff asked the reason for our visit. It was our anniversary. The manager put us in a penthouse suite. Was very kind! Made our anniversary special!

Wasn’t giving 3 rooms together until later after complaints were made. Breakfast took over a hour to receive some of our food. All portions were child like servings. Valet took over 25 minutes to retrieve my car. Only great thing about hotel- location!

we love this property!
cleaning “fee” for dogs has increased dramatically and now makes a stay much less affordable.
