Great home-base for Many Glacier area of GNP!

Great location for exploring the Many Glacier area! Friendly and helpful staff, great food, overall comfortable stay. Would definitely stay there again when visiting Many Glacier. We stayed four nights.

Great property & location with friendly staff!

Rooms were clean & as listed. Staff was very accommodating & great at communicating all through the booking process & stay. We enjoyed the outdoor space & lake-beautiful setting. We will return when in that area again!

You can hear others in the lodge sometimes, but earplugs helped solve that.

Adequate. Wish I'd spent my three nights, instead of one, at the Thronson's Motel in Babb.

Mattress was lousy/old and worn out. Dining room was below our room and the noise from the dining room interfered with relaxing in our room, room #2. The screen door between the dining room and deck slammed every time someone came or went from the deck which was EXTREMELY annoying.

The real thing with fine views.

It is magnificently situated with views of the Glacier Park peaks, a lovely pond, and beautiful rolling prairie. We also got along great with the owner and had lots of stories.

It is a bit countrified, but we like that.

Absolutely wonderful

The staff is friendly, kind, goes out of their way to make you feel so welcomed. She was up early on her day off just to make sure coffee was ready for me before heading out on adventure.

A step up from hostel accommodation

I like the location which is close to Many glacier and also St Mary entrance. The hotel is quiet. It has adequate parking with a dining room. The wifi works well.

Shared bathroom. No grocery place or any place to eat after 9 pm. I was there in the end of May. The road to the property which is about a mile off the highway is unpaved.

Best stay I have had in a long time!!

I loved the facility and the people, and it was a very close location to Glacier National Park. very easy check in and wonderful food on the menu with the restaurant on site.

Clean place where they make you feel right at home.

Wonderful stay. They go over the top to make sure you are comfortable. The restaurant was also very convenient and delicious. Super close to Many Glacier Park. Was very clean. I was a little worried about sharing bathroom/showers but it was not a problem at all. They were always clean and we never really had to wait for a turn. They were pretty available.

Cosy place to sleep on the east side of Glacier surrounded by nature.

Cosy place near the lake at the border of Glacier national park east side, super easy to drive in. Possible to order dinner in the evening until 8pm, very convenient. Nature, friendly other guests which we met in the shared livingroom area.

Wonderful hostess and convenient location, plus big windows and sliding doors to the back yard and small pond.

I have dietary needs and chemical “sensitivity” Once the manager heard that housekeeping had used a scented laundry detergent (or softener) on the sheets… (I had made a special request to avoid air freshener and fragranced cleaning products prior to my visit)… she went out of her way to fix me a breakfast that I could eat!! Love her. I understand how difficult it is to accommodate an allergy ridden individual and so appreciate when someone goes out of their way. PS: the establishment usually uses “free” laundry products (free of dyes and scents) so she wasn’t looking at sheets that as a possible source. They even used a air purifier in the room prior to my visit. so, I recommend them wholeheartedly. The room is rudimentary, but only wanted something to sleep in and the communal space was comfortable with large windows.

Our stay at Duck Lake Lodge was delightful and memorable.

The location of the lodge, just a couple miles from the Many Glacier entrance, and with a view of the mountains, cannot be beat. Terry, the owner and hostess, is a delightful, friendly and gracious hostess who goes above and beyond to ensure the comfort of her guests. The facility is clean and well maintained.

The only thing that could be improved upon is the old mattresses, which Terry is aware of and working on replacing.

very weird setup. lockbox to let yourself in, no one onsite. no electricity in our bathroom, had to share with others upstairs. the place seemed to be built as a hunting lodge. simple simple simple too high of price, but nothing around it to choose from

Community room and Bathing Rooms all in nice condition. Easy check in and beds seemed comfy.

Another Shower might be helpful. Everyone checking in late in the day after a day tripping all looking to shower at the same time so they can get to sleep and up early for the next day.

Good location, slept well, nice hosts

The location is just the right distance from St Mary and Many Glacier. Caroline and Terry were very welcoming and friendly. (The caramel pecan roll I had for a pre-hike breakfast was bliss.) I was placed in a cabin (had originally booked a room) but it was clean, secure, and comfortable. I slept very well which is just what I needed considering I had to start the day real early to secure a walk-in camping spot at Many Glacier. Would absolutely stay here again.

Old school Montana: hospitality, clean, & great location.

So clean. The owner and staff are so nice and accommodating. The cinnamon roles are ridiculously good! Fantastic sunset and sunrise photos. An easy drive to Many Glacier part of Glacier National Park.

Great location and views for basic lodge near Glacier.

Basic lodge not far from St. Marys entrance to Glacier National park. Great views from deck. Good breakfast (not sure if they serve on weekends). Very simple room but clean.

Be aware that is is shared bathroom. 5 rooms for each bathroom. Was not an issue but need to be aware.

The host was very kind and helpful. The lodge has own kitchen. The area is very peaceful. Although there is public bathroom and shower, their use was flexible.

room was tiny, literally no space to move, bed was old and squeaky, sinks in the bathroom sprinkle water.
