Bed was comfy and the hotel was located in a great place.
I am beyond frustrated with this hotel. Between the elevators, the front desk and the valet parking I’m beyond upset.
The front desk has refused to provide me with an itemized summary of charges. I now have $304 charged to my bank account in which they refuse to provide any information on. I have called over a dozen times, provided my email address for them to send to and before I left the property I requested one and they refused to print one and only email. I have checked spam and still nothing. It’s been almost a week and I still haven’t received any email from them. To top it off when we went to leave we called down to the front desk at 5:30am to request our vehicle to be delivered for us to leave by 6:45am. We waited until 7:20 for our car to be brought to us. There was no traffic on the roads and several others had their vehicles within minutes of them coming down and requesting it in the front of the building. Poor service all around and yet no one will accept accountability for their actions.
Also if you want to get an elevator you’ll be waiting at least 20 minutes because they are slow and their restaurants are put ahead of your needs on the main floor. They block off elevators so you are then limited on which one will respond.

Great location. Inside Times Square, beside Bryant park and so near to subway stations.

The Knick is an excellent base to explore NYC. The rooms are spacious, clean and modern. The hotel itself is iconic and a little bit of luxury to return to after a day of exploring. Most importantly, the staff made this trip so special and memorable for my daughter and I. They are exceptional.
Everything was great

The location was good and the in the middle of the Times Square vibe and cleanness was within expectation for such, also, the staff was great, especially the concierge guy

Staff was very responsive when we found multiple stains on the pillow cases and bed sheets.
Complimentary milk and cookies were provided for the kids.
Comfy beds
Very small lobby.
No coffee machine inside room.
Took a long time to check in.
No facilities

The comfort and cleanliness of the room. The two ladies in the concierge desk were amazingly helpful at all times. Breakfast was great but menu didn’t change and I thought it was a bit too expensive per person. Coffee and teas need big quality improvements.
Couple of guys in the ground floor reception area trying to sell car taxi service at lucrative prices, also expecting tips…!!

It's clean, housekeeping staff are very good.
Location to time square and Broadway is perfect
Not 5 star by any means. Hallways full of scuff marks. Room basic.
No residents bar. Bar closed at 11:30pm which is too early after a show.
Jack's coffee is good but it closes during the day and then the coffee is out of a pot which is awful.
Reception staff barely made eye contact during check in. When asked for a late check out we were told to wait until the morning of check out which is hard to make plans. We did get a late check out in the end.

The location!
Everything apart from the location!
Booking.com advertise this as a 5 star hotel, The Kickerboker themselves say they’re a 4 star! I think it’s a 3 star!

The staff was extremely friendly and accommodating. The hotel is beautiful and our room was surprisingly large. The breakfast buffet was amazing. Will stay here again.
The room service menu was small but the food we did order was really good.

Size of room; location and value for money were great. Staff extremely helpful.
Parts of the hotel feel a little bit tired - it didn't quite feel like a 5* experience. No tea/coffee making facilities in room which for me is a big no-no.

Very central to Times Square. Rooftop terrace has great views.
The room looked nothing like the photos. it was old, worn and sparse. One window was false and the other looked into the next door offices.

The room was really spacious room and the location is excellent. The hotel was clean and had excellent personnel and service. The New Years Eve Event was an experience on its own. High Variety of bouffet and entertainment.
The room service was until 22:00. There were no snacks in the mini bar or a kettle. And the pillows were a bit too soft.

the room was clean and spacious
before I booked the room i called the reception to check if I would get a ball drop view from the hotel, they suggested me to take the king size city view room so i can get the view, however after booking the room this was not what was offered to me, apart from this I had wait for 2 hours for a room service to get a bottle opener, after making several calls to the reception and room service asking for a bottle opened, i was informed as they had a roof top party they were busy with other guest and hence they cant attend, it seemed like they didn't want to serve the guest that were staying in the hotel and were only focused on the party guest, they should have not put the room out for booking and given us wrong information if they didn't wanted to serve us.
