Fantastic staff who made us feel extremely welcome from the time we arrived till the time we departed. The resort is very well cared for and was always kept very clean. We were just blown away with the level of service and amazing attentiveness of all the staff. We were also amazed with the level of the food that was provided during our stay.

Loved the community feeling within the resort, we were made to feel like family.
Excellent service levels, activity options, very relaxing.
The only thing missing to make it perfect is a pool ... at low tide the swimming options were limited due to rocks/coral/seaweed.

The Fijian staff were lovely. The food, accommodation, activities, etc were all excellent. We felt very welcomed.
We didn’t like the way the white male owner spoke to staff. I was also concerned by the environmental management of the resort with solar panels in disrepair and waste being burnt.

Very charming and pretty. Welcoming staff. It is a pretty and peaceful place.
Mini and Tiu were our favorite bartenders.
The happy hour is good. The dinner is very good. Breakfast/lunch are decent plus.
If a place to do nothing and chill appeals to you and you can eat on a schedule, you'll probably love it.
Hard to get to- the "fast boat" took 5 hours..
Little menu variety with a specific breakfast/lunch/dinner schedule The staff is friendly but inefficient. We often ordered and had someone else come to ask what we wanted 20 minutes later. We once waited over a full hour for food. So bring your sense of Fiji time with you.
Also, Wifi is 10/hour.

Very warm welcome and farewell show. Resort staffs are friendly and full of humor (Especially thanks to Nancy and Kata). Beautiful coral reefs and fish not far from the beach. Great place to relax with family.

It was an absolutely lovely stay. We stayed in Love shack bure; it’s bit away from the rest of the room and it felt secluded; it’s right on the water and we could swim right from there. Airco worked well but even without it the breeze and fan should be enough it for comfy sleep at night.
Food was great, staff was fanstastic, wonderful entertainment (thanks Vata) and great snorkeling tours. It felt personal at Nanuay, as it’s only 17 huts and so it doesn’t feel like you are in a large resort where it’s kinda impersonal; you get to know staff by name and get to talk to everyone, we really liked that. It’s not crowded. There is a lovely walk you can do over the island. Ocean is lovely, it can be shallow in the low tide but still swimmable. Blue lagoon is a short walk away and it’s white sand beach, lovely. We had great snorkeling with Vilimoni. Staff sings wonderfully !
It was a great getaway. We want to Matamanoa resort after and while it’s one more star and feels fancier, I can’t say it beats Nanuya !
Nothing to report!

The proximity to the Blue Lagoon was great!

Nanuya Island resort is absolutely gorgeous! Our Treehouse Bure was adorable and we spent a ton of time on the balcony just enjoying the view. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
The food fell a bit short of our expectations in comparison to other resorts in the area. The beach was also not the best but we were able to Paddle Board and found a lovely one half a kilometer away.

Staff, beautiful location
Room was ok, but had issues with cleanliness whilst there. Issues were resolved at the time but should have been sorted prior to our arrival.

The most wonderful place to stay and relax enjoying the beautiful surroundings. The staff made us feel at home and all activities including kayaking, sups and snorkeling was at your finger tips. You can do as little or as much as you like here - there isn't beach on the resort at high tide but there is Blue Lagoon Beach a very short walk (5 mins) and this didn't bother us at all as there are entry ways to the shallow sea in front of the resort and beautiful cabanas with loungers. The views from the treetop bures was beautiful!
Long boat ride to get there but totally worth it!

The staff perfect
The path to the beach went through
Two derelict houses and a lot of rubbish totally unacceptable
A real shame

Delicious food, smaller place so sense of community is better, activities each day, access to a beautiful little hiking trail through the gardens and more integration with local friends, adorable little jungle huts, friendly and involved staff, and overall awesome time!
Most expensive meals of any island we’d gone to, while they grow most of the food and it is delicious, what money you’ve saved in the affordable housing, you quickly lose in food as it’s the only dining option.

Absolutely everything! This was an amazing stay in an exceptional location with the nicest staff we've ever met. If you want to experience what is unique about Fiji, this is the place to go. Alongside the famous Blue Lagoon, you will be greeted by the delightful voices of the staff singing your welcome starting the most relaxed, embracing check-in with a delicious cooling drink to boot.
The staff here are genuinely lovely people who want you to enjoy their island. Everything is very relaxed but there is plenty to do should you choose to. We went snorkelling every day, visited the blue cave, hiked to Lo's tearooms, went on a sunset cruise and soaked in the displays of fire twirling, dancing, singing in the evenings and other activities during the day. And we also did a lot of 'nothing'.
Common to much accommodation in Fiji, the bures lacked soundproofing and were a little 'rustic', but it wasn't a problem. The food was a bit hit and miss due to the remoteness of the island making logistics of fresh food supply difficult, but the chef was happy to accommodate special requests and generally it was very nice.

Nice quiet location. Not so many tourists yet. Local staff (from neighboring villages) try their best to comfort you. Also made gluten free bread and pancakes on request. Very friendly bar keeper.
The walk up the hill to the nice and comfortable treetop bures (fan/no A/C) offers a beautiful overview of the bay and nice sunsets.
Some renovation after COVID was done. Has a very private honey moon bure with own garden and whirl pool.
Unfortunately no swimmingpool, but a well maintained garden (nice sunbeds) and beaches nearby are o.k. Kite surfers start from Kokonut resort (opposite island) or yachts in the bay. Kajaks, boards, and snorkeling gears can be borrowed at the boat center for free, to reach easier very beautiful sandy beaches nearby. Beach, reef directly at the resort are less spectacular.
Don't miss out a tour to the lime stone coves further north (every morning) or a visit to a village if you haven't been.
Extremely overpriced fee (80 FJD/Day) for Wifi is not customer oriented and main reason for lower rating. Cheap SIM card in supermarket around the corner.
A breakfast buffet would be much nicer, than having to ask for every extra piece of bread, pancake, ...
"Evening tourist program" sometimes funny, sometimes too loud, but stops at 9pm. Beware of small moskitos in the evenings. Moskitonets in bures missing.
South Sea Cruises are overpriced. Alternative may be the red sea bus to Lautoka (a bit shaky, when you suffer from sea sickness). Make reservation before, but ticket can be paid in Lautoka also with credit card. If you are satisfied with even less comfort try local transport in fiber boats between the Yasawa islands (ask fishermen).

we were in the luxury villa and it was so amazing! the room is gorgeous 🖤. the staff is the best of the island, the offer a lot of activities. we recommend the cave trip. the food is delicious. just 2 things to improve: free wifi and swimming pool. non of them were available
we had to pay for wifi after spending 2000 dollars in the room.

Nanuya Island Resort really grew on us the longer we stayed. The staff were so friendly and accommodating, we felt sad to leave! Accommodation was clean and spacious with everything we needed. Absolutely loved the outdoor shower. The main restaurant produced delicious, fresh food every day, not over priced. Spa facilities were excellent and there was so much to do! You can lounge on a cabana all day, take part in village visits, snorkelling, cave trip, manta ray safari (all at extra costs) or alternatively you can take a trek to the other side of the island and visit the local tea houses. Something for everyone whether you are travelling for a relaxing resort style holiday or are seeking slightly more adventure and independent travel!
Unfortunately the jacuzzi had no hot water on arrival and for the duration of our stay, but we were given complimentary spa treatments to make up for this. While staff are lovely and friendly people, it does pay to be diligent as sometimes 'Fiji time' can result in being forgotten about.

We had the good fortune to spend 3 nights at this resort. From the moment of arrival until we left, nothing was a problem for the beautiful friendly staff. Our accommodation was awesome, set overlooking the sheltered waters of the Blue Lagoon (with the added bonus of having AC), and the meals were superb (I loved the daily 'afternoon cake')! There were quite a few walking trails on the island, which was really nice for a workout, and the snorkelling was great. We used the double kayak for a quick spin around the bay, but rather than being on the water, it's best to make like Flipper and be 'in the water', in a spot this beautiful.
My only complaint was that instant coffee was the only option for breakfast. I would have loved to have had some freshly brewed coffee to start my day even better.

It's a lovely resort with wonderful staff. The staff all know your name and try to meet your requests. There are plenty of activities to do - many free of charge including snorkeling and kayaking. The daily songs sung by staff were an absolute delight. The night events were also really great.
The cost of drinks and food on the island was quite pricey - understandably, it's a lone business on the island but an average of 30FJD for meals like cheese toastie or chicken wrap was a little disappointing for lunch. It would have also been nice if there were more local and Fijian inspired dishes - rather than Australian pub favourites poorly replicated. The few Fijian dishes that we had were amazing. Bring your own bottles before coming onto the island.

A wonderful introduction to Fiji. We were able to share in a lot of cultural activities thanks to the amazing staff! The meals were excellent. We had amazing snorkeling excursions with the resort. We were very impressed with Nanuya Island Resort and hope to return someday!
