Situated in Blackheath, this lovely cottage for $260 per night is a fantastic choice for your next vacation. Relax in this Blue Mountains fully self contained cottage with two queen and two single beds (Suitable for 4 adults and 2 children or a couple) . Message me if your family includes a baby or child under two as there is no charge . Quality sheets and towels are provided by a linen service . Portacot and highchair available free of charge . Blossom Cottage is a non-smoking and pet free property with an air conditioner to cool the family room in summer , a gas log fire to warm the whole house in winter and unlimited free wifi with Netflix . As noted in the reviews , this property is kept clean and maintained well by a professional cleaning service with access to a linen service which launders the motel quality sheets and towels . We have always provided hand wash , soap , disinfectant , toilet paper and tissues for the past 16 years in our effort to provide a high standard of hygiene . Walk to local attractions such as the bookshop , antique shops , shoe shop , clothes shops , art galleries and specialty shops or weekend markets less than a block away . Eat out at the restaurants, pubs and cafes just up the road. Picnic at one of the local parks or a family BBQ just around the corner. The Blue Mountains Elvis Festival is on 3 -6 March 2022 , The Blue Mountains Music Festival is in Katoomba 18 , 19 and 20 March 2022 and the Blackheath Rhododendron Festival is on 5 November 2022 and Blossom Cottage makes a great base for attending these events or the Ultra Trail each May . You can the Campbell Rhododendron Gardens all year round or picnic at Blackheath Memorial Gardens and pool December to April . Explore the bush on the wheelchair/pram friendly Fairfax Heritage Track to George Phillips Lookout and Govetts Leap Lookout or go bushwalking in the Grand Canyon , on the Braeside Track, to Pope's Glen , Centennial Glen and more ... See the cherry blossoms in neighbouring Park Road Blackheath in spring . Visit the neighbouring towns and villages eg Leura, Katoomba and Mt Victoria . Travel up by train and walk to the cottage . Relax in the spa bath ( unfortunately the jets on the spa are not working at the moment ) or curl up in front of the gas log fire . Read a book . Watch a film on Netflix . Sit in the sunny backyard . PLEASE NOTE * this is an entirely non - smoking property. Please do not book the property if you intend to smoke inside or out. *Please leave the property clean and tidy as you will be responsible for any additional cleaning fees. No pets allowed . Beautiful little cottage only moments from Blackheath shops. Very clean with everything you could need: three large bedrooms, new bathroom, self contained kitchen, lovely gas fire. Had a great time and would definitely return. Megan is an absolute gem and was very accommodating! Highly recommend.
Just a note that there is no washing machine/dryer.

Loved the cottage and the location. We had a great time away. Everything we expected and a little more was there for us to enjoy. Easy walking distance to the village and shopping. Also to Govett's Leap Lookout and trails - such a pity they were all closed!
Nice and cosy when the rain started.
The only drawback was that any noise from upstairs came through downstairs and visa versa.

Great place to stay with a fully equipped kitchen and wonderful hotel grade bed linen and towels.
So thankful when walking into the cottage it was warm as the gas fire had been put on for us on a cold and miserable day, thankyou Megan, much appreciated.
Any dealings I had with Megan were answered promptly.

Great hosts and a great cottage only a short walk from the heart of Blackheath. Cottage is well equipped and has a gas fire, heater and electric blankets to keep you warm in the colder months. We will definitely be back again!

Nice place, great extra touches
The extra touches made it a great place to stay. Linen provided, big gas heater, games for the kids plenty of tissues and soap etc. Easy check in and out.

My husband, teenaged daughter and I spent a lovely weekend in this cute little cottage at the end of the school holidays. We wanted somewhere walking distance from Blackheath shops so we could wander up the road for meals on foot, so Blossom Cottage was perfect for that. We usually like to splurge on a place with both fireplace and spa when we’ve been to the Blue Mountains in the past so we compromised with having a gas fireplace as the cottage had a big corner spa! The fireplace was really warm, had a homey feel and looked quite real! The only very small disappointment for our stay was that the jets in the bath were waiting to be repaired, so no bubbles in our spa this time around. Really, this was just a minor inconvenience. The house was so peaceful and quiet, and the bedrooms all very comfortable and spacious. I enjoyed watching the view of mist and trees out our bedroom window in the morning. There were also lots of useful bits and bobs in this house - it’s obvious that the owners enjoy staying here themselves frequently as there are so many useful items like a clothes horse, an extra large plunger coffee maker, and extra pillows and throw rugs that made our stay here feel so easy.

The cottage was very clean, there were a lot of unexpected surprises with added extras to make our holiday more comfortable, the shower was great, the beds were wonderfully soft, the Netflix was very helpful, overall we enjoyed our stay..The only negative would be the garden needs a trim.

We had a lovely mini break at Blossom Cottage. Megan the owner was super helpful with all our queries. Cottage was cosy, well appointed and very central to shops and any tourist attractions.
