Loved the room, the bathroom, all the details. The view from the room was great, as well as the springs, both inside the Hotel and at Club Río. Personal was kind and welcoming, an extra star for Jorge and Diego at the restaurants!
I would say it was also pretty good in terms of accessibility.
I truly recommend the Spa, Gabriela will make sure you to have the best experience.
Breakfast was good and varied, they offer GF options including pancakes and toasts. I also liked having lunch at Tres Cascadas.
Gf options at Las Ventanas restaurant, unfortunately. However they manage to solve it properly.
We also got the tub full of black scraps when activating the whirpool turbing, the second time we use it. That was weird, but just a small thing. The rest was great, though!

The amenities and service at this property are amazing, truly five star experience. The Club Rio activities are a must and we highly recommend. All of the restaurants are delicious as well. We can’t wait to come back to stay again.

the variety of activities and restaurants on one property, amazing views, beautiful landscaping, top notch service
the food was not to the level of the hotel and the prices

overall beautiful place, great views
The cost of everything was way to expensive. The pricing on food, drinks there Rio park was extremely expensive and not really worth the price. example one pina colada non- alcoholic $27 is what the charged. that’s insane.

We loved the gorgeous grounds, hot springs pools and amazing mountain views. The staff were all friendly and helpful.
The food is very mediocre. Same dishes every meal of every day, except one 'fine dining' restaurant with extra dinner options. The food is not particularly fresh, seasonal or local, and prices are 2-4x higher than nice restaurants in town. Cocktails use overly sweet premade mixers. The location is outside of town (15-25 mins driving) so leaving the resort to eat isn't very convenient.

Absolutelt stunning property! We
really enjoyed the hot springs, beautiful views and friendly service.
The rooms can be a bit far from the main building so it’s a bit of a hike.

the rooms,
location, the food, the spa, the hot springs . just WOW. expensive yes, but all worth it.
the zoo. I hate seeing animals kept in small cages, whatever you call it , it is still
a zoo…

outdated, old and missing Costa Rica charm

The location (view of volcano) and amenities were great. It was expensive though, especially the drinks and food… for better value wish it was an all-inclusive.
The lower hot springs were quite dirty and unkept, but we loved the river tube ride at the adventure park! The natural slide in the upper hot springs was fun too!

What a view the grand vista rooms were a brilliant size for 4 adults. The hot springs were fabulous and the service was fantastic!
The up market restaurant- venjares. It was over priced for the quality of food. We were expecting Michelin star food but were disappointed. It felt pressurised to purchase $150 bottle of wine. However the steaks were great! Thought the food would be a bit more sophisticated.

EVERYTHING! This place is AMAZING! I wish I could have stayed longer. Accommodations and customer service is top notch. The hot springs pools were magical, with so many to choose from. The slide was so much fun! My son loved the game room. we all enjoyed relaxing in the pools and being able to order food and beverages while relaxing in the pools. One of the most features of this resort is the spectacular views of the volcano. Club Rio has a variety of activities and experiences on site so you do not have to leave the resort. There is a variety of food options available which was great for the picky eaters in my family. The staff was very friendly and personable. It was really hard to leave. We are already planning to return in the near future!
If there is one complaint is the prices, but at a luxury resort such as this one, it is to be expected. For example, it was a bit crazy to pay almost $14 for a bottle of Fiji water.

Everything about this resort was AMAZING

The property was amazing as was the staff. We splurged on the cat feeding excursion as well as a night tour and our guide was fantastic.
The view of the volcano was partially blocked by a building. It was overpriced and everything was nickel and dimed. Our stay at another hotel nearby had better views and was equally as nice for almost half the price. It was a lovely, one-time treat but doubt we'd come back.

Everything about this property is fantastic and the attention to detail is unmatched! The price makes sense because from the moment you’re picked up by the driver and step foot on the resort you are treated so well! Every single aspect of our trip was beautiful! they take excellent care of their guests, of safety, cleanliness, and loved having the onsite laundry and shoe drying services!
nada!

Hotel is amazing . Everything is perfect.
Wifi is very bad and you have to pay for everything inside the hotel and the prices are not reasonable. Prepare to pay another booking price with food and other activities.
