Located in Reykjavik, this charming condo for $372 per night is a great option for your next vacation. Space The apartment which is more like a hotel apartment is a luxury apartment placed in the most popular down town area. From the apartment it takes only 3 minutes to walk to the largest shopping street in Reykjavik with selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Mountain view from the apartment and 5 min walk to the ocean where also the Reykjavik Music Hall is located. Guest access The Apartment is fully with Internet and 50” flat screen Smart TV Towels and linens are provided upon arrival. Baby crib and baby chair can be arranged but needs to be requested in advance. Guest interaction There is no interaction except the guest need information they can call us. Airport transport can be arranged by request, depending on time of arrival/departure. Neighborhood overview The apartment is placed right in the city center - As good as it gets. From the apartment it takes only 3 min to walk to the largest shopping street in Reykjavik with selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Getting around Most of the time you can grap a taxi on the parael street in about 1 minute walking distance. If not the main taxi stop is in about 5 minute walking distance. CAR & PARKING Parking 1 minute away from the building. Other things to note You can drink the water from the tab, it’s perfectly clean, pure spring water. You can buy water in grocery stores and restaurants if you want, but its exactly the same water. The hot water sometimes smells of sulphur. It’s because we get it directly from natural hot springs. To throw away garbage open the door right to the main entrance. The key for that door is hanging next to the door in the apartment. Please make sure the bag has a tight knot. All glass and plastic bottles can be left in the kitchen.

This is a great space in the heart of the downtown area. Perfect for those without a car. You can literally walk everywhere and grab a cab or bus close by. Thank you Gunnar for sharing your home with us! It helped make our stay in Reykjavik more than amazing!!

My family stayed here after a Baltic cruise on the way back to the US. You couldn’t ask for a better location and the views were amazing! The place is very modern. The few things I wasn’t impressed with was the lack of cleanliness. When we arrived it just didn’t look or feel very clean. There was a cleaning bottle on the couch and it looked like someone left in the middle of cleaning. The windows had fingerprints all over them, the refrigerator had thick food stains, hairs in the bathroom drawers, and sticky floors. I’m not sure if this was just a one time thing. I was going to ask the owner, but I already had two questions sent to him that he never responded to. Don’t give me wrong, it’s a beautiful place in a beautiful location. It can tend to get a little noisy at night because of the Irish pub up the street. I would also recommend that the owner leave directions for the impossibly hard to understand clothes washer. I would stay here again but I would make sure to let the owner know that I would really like for it to be cleaner.

The location of this home is fantastic. It is next to the main shopping district and is close to everything. The home is inviting and the neighborhood is perfect. The apartment is very well equipped and has everything needed. What a wonderful experience. Thank you!

This modern and spacious unit is in a great location. I stayed her with my wife and four kids for a week and it make for a very comfortable home base. Was nice to be so conveniently located on our 'easy' days when we did things in & around Reykjavik. The discount grocery store 'Bonus' is less than a 10min walk up the street. Gunnar was very responsive to my queries leading up to my stay and we'd definitely consider staying again if/when we return to Iceland.
