Cet établissement est un parenthèse calme et naturelle sur une île assez animée.

L'hôtel est très légèrement excentré du centre bruyant de Railay et des autres hôtels en front de mer. Un service de navette est disponible et réactif. Le trajet est également faisable à pied, pas plus de 10 minutes, mais en montée et au risque de croiser singes ou reptiles en tout genre. Le personnel est extrêmement serviable et à l'écoute, si bien que, la ville disposant pourtant de nombreux restaurants, j'ai diné tous les soirs à l'hôtel. La réception est disponible a toute heure et vous aide à organiser un assez large choix d'activités et d'excursions. La piscine est propre, agréable et la vue de celle-ci est à couper le souffle.

La qualité de la chambre dans la quelle j'ai dormi était très légèrement en dessous du standing du reste de l'hôtel. Assez simpliste, particulièrement la salle de bain qui mériterai un petit coup de jeune. La présence d'une climatisation était en effet un plus, mais celle-ci était extrêmement bruyante, il m'a été difficile de dormir avec celle-ci allumée.

Great pool and view, hotel room areas and lobbies need decorating.

Great place to stay on Railay beach for a bit of luxury.

This was a welcome bit of luxury for us at the end of our trip. We had a family room which was enormous. So much room! Huge bathroom. The room was very clean and beautifully set out when we arrived. Reception were very welcoming and we received free drinks on arrival. The facilities such as the pool, bar and free shuttle down the hill were all very good. The view from the pool is stunning and you can watch climbers on the karst nearby! Breakfast was a good choice, including Thai food. It was well worth spending the money for a bit of luxury. I wish we could have stayed longer.

We left our bags as we couldn’t check in. When we returned my bag had already been taken to the room, but the bags of my Thai friends had not! They were upset by this!

Great experience at Railey

The hotel has a great location with a nice vibe and atmosphere. Staff was very welcoming and helpful. The bar at the pool was great and gave a nice vibe to the setup. Breakfast was very good with both Thai and international choices. Having a pool to refresh yourself at night is a plus! Location minimize risk in case of Tsunami.

It can be tiring going up and down multiple times during the day to different beaches or to try different restaurants. Pool stair tiles need to be repaired asap, it might be quite dangerous. Food at the pool restaurant was good but expensive with small quantities. Railey in general was not so clean and the sea was full of jelly fish, so better to stay longer in a nice beach at Phi Phi rather than several days at Railey

Gorgeous Railay retreat

Railay is fantastic, everything is located close together, and this resort was also very well located. It was a very short walk away from the main walking streets, which was perfect really. It was so tranquil. And it's as beautiful as looks in the pictures. I would certainly stay here again. Our room was small but lovely. It was very handy to have the clothes drying rack, and a balcony to put it on. There was a beautiful monkey in the trees nearby, one morning. We loved the elephant towel arrangements but unfortunately, travelling with an 8 year old meant we were forced to leave one of the two towel sculptures unused, for the duration of our stay! The pool is so beautiful and on two nights, we ate dinner on the deck just below. The food was good and it was very peaceful. Shout out to staff member John who was very friendly and gave us extra good service!

The bathroom was tiny, which was fine, but had an unpleasant drain smell at times. I think this couldnt be helped, and it was certainly very clean. Everywhere we stayed in Thailand, our bathrooms looked to have been scrubbed and polished to within an inch of their lives, and Phutawan was no exception. Netflix didn't work on the TV the whole time we were there, but that's not really a deal breaker when you're staying in paradise! Great spread at breakfast but the 'hot' food items were actually served cold, at least when we tried them. The shuttle from the beach was very hard to find, on our arrival. I couldn't understand the lady on the phone. I recommend they make it clear before arrival, where the shuttle will be. Those are a few cons, but honestly, it was wonderful and I hope to be back some time.

The best place on Railay Beach!

Unfortunately the resort was booked while I was on Railay and I only stayed there for my first night. I wish it could have been longer. It had the best food I found in the area, and great lunch and smoothie option. They handled the airport transfer perfectly, and made the somewhat nerve-wracking journey pleasant. The room was so nice, amazing view, super friendly staff and delicious breakfast. I actually walked up there several more times when I was on Railay Beach to eat at the restaurant. Quiet, remote area from the busy-ness of the beach fronts.

The resort was full so there was never a beach chair available, and so was not really able to go into the pool.

Schöne Zeit mit atemberaubenden Ausblick

Die Anlage war sehr schön und gepflegt, der Ausblick war einfach traumhaft schön und das Personal immer nett und zuvorkommend.

Es wäre schön gewesen, wenn es eine Fußdusche gegeben hätte, gerade wenn man vom Strand kommt, möchte man ungern den Sand ins Zimmer mit nehmen, aber das ist meckern auf hohem Niveau und dies ist auch der einzige Punkt an Verbesserung aus meiner Sicht.

Stunning view :)

Stunning view - nice pool with backdrop of giant rock and scenery. Staff really friendly and nice. Breakfast nice enough. The walk isn’t as bad as other reviews say, it’s a simple 10-15 minute walk from the beach. Just had a slight steep incline at the end.

It was a little confusing to find at first - some of the photos in the instructions are out of date (statue no longer there for example). But once you find it once, it’s fine. Pool steps were a little broken, I think that’s the only thing that could be improved.

Endroit magique… vous voyez des singes dans les arbres que du bonheur

Tout était magnifique, la vue , la piscine , le personnel… Sur le chemin il y a pleins de singes trop mignons . L’hôtel se trouve à 5 mins à pieds du village où il y a pleins de restaurants. L hôtel propose quand même une navette. La plage de railay est tellement belle.

There were a lot of people, there weren’t enough sunbeds. When booking, they demanded 280 baht for breakfast for a child (booking), it was stated that a child up to a certain age stays free of charge! out of 10 hotels, only this one had scheduled drinks and snacks for a free.

Nicht sehr hilfsbereit leider

Einzigartige Lage in den Bergen mit tollem Ausblick vom Pool

Die Sonnenschirme am Pool sind nicht sicher befestigt, einen Tag war es sehr windig (wie vermutlich des öfteren oben auf dem Berg), dadurch ist einer der Schirme weggeflogen und mit voller Wucht auf mir gelandet - geprellte Rippe Das Personal am Pool kam mir zwar zur Hilfe, da ich den schweren Schirm nicht alleine von mir runter heben konnte und fragte auch sofort ob ich einen Arzt sehen wolle Nach kurzem Überlegen entschied ich mich auch dazu das lieber abchecken zu lassen - es gab allerdings keine möglichkeit zum röntgen außer mit dem boot (bei sturm) zum festland ins krankenhaus zu fahren - was ich hätte tun müssen, damit das hotel die kosten erstattet Es gab also keine Entschädigung oder Entschuldigung oder sonstiges für uns und das hotel hat sich noch geweigert später anfallenden arztkosten zu übernehmen

Loved everything except for the hill.

It’s very beautiful, green and peaceful with a laid back vibe and lovely, helpful staff. We loved the pool and the view of the cliffs. Overall we really liked staying here. It was a more unique experience than a typical beach front resort.

The trade off for the beautiful view is that you have to climb a big hill to get to it. There is a shuttle service once an hour if you’re a more patient kind of person. The bed was a little stiff for our taste

Heerlijk hotel met prachtig uitzicht.

Prachtig hotel met een geweldig uitzicht. De kamers zijn erg ruim en het personeel is heel vriendelijk en behulpzaam.

In verhouding tot de rest was de badkamer wat gedateerd.

Railay est agréable le soir, mais des hordes de touristes sur les plages dans la journée.

Cottage tranquille au fond du jardin .Happy Hour , délicieux cocktails au bord de la piscine .Le resort est facilement accessible, 5 mns à pied , en plus vous croiserez des singes et des varans sur votre route .

Le transfert privé , organisé par l’hôtel,depuis l’aéroport de Krabi est facturé 1700 baht. ( j’ai payé 2200 baht AR Avion ,Bangkok Krabi ) . Le prix normal est 400 baht ,c’est ce que j’ai payé au retour.

Superb

The location was amazing and the tuk tuk service down to the main area was very handy during the rain. It was only a 5 minute walk away otherwise which was great. The pool is the most amazing part of the hotel. The views alone are priceless

Breakfast was fine. Only something small but there was a gap above the main door to our room so bugs could get into the room but this could be helped with perhaps a mosquito net

Wonderful, definitely would stay there again!

Breakfast, pool, elephant towels on the bed, beach shuttle, welcoming staff, happy hour drinks, welcome sign with drinks when we first arrived, beautiful area, close to rock climbing.

The mosquitos! There are so many of them there. But they are all over the island too.

- Beautiful view with the pool! - Breakfast was great - Room was clean.

- At dinner I ordered a club sandwich with fries, the fries were cold so I asked for new ones. Took 20 minutes before my food arrived (just for some warm fries), my friend had already finished his dinner. Would have been fine if they offered something to compensate it, but unfortunately they didn’t. - Some facilities in the room didn’t quite work well. The bathroom door didn’t close and the toilet seat was sitting loose and kept falling down.

Very pleasant, would stay again.

The pool is nice, the bedrooms are also large and the location is pretty too. They also offer shuttles through the day which makes it easier as opposed to walking up the hill to get to the walking street. They also included nice personal touches, and provided free waters in the rooms.

After the stay we realised we had bites covering our legs and after research, realised these could have been bedbugs.
