This villa is not what it is advertised to be, the beach is actually a mosquito infested swamp, our kids could not use, we ended up leaving a week early and we are yet to receive our refund for the last week. Also the AC was continuously broken, the pool was in constant need for chemicals to be added, we only got to use the pool once every three days. The staff was great and very apologetic, but after a week of living without proper AC, mosquito infested swamps/no beach, on and off pool access, we had enough and booked at one of the local resorts.

Lovely, Tranquil Home on Koh Samui

We were delighted with our stay at "Classic House", one of a few rentals available in a small group of houses comprising Oriental Lodge. Koh Samui is a busy, bustling island with lots of development, particularly on the northern and eastern sides of the island. Classic House is on the south end of the island and is away from the hustle and bustle, a great plus of our group. The house is a traditional Thai style with several buildings connected by beautiful courtyards. A bonus that we were not expecting: there is a second, large swimming pool next to the house that is available to users of Classic House. We enjoyed twice-daily maid service and an on-site manager who arranged massages at the villa, a Thai chef for one evening and who provided other assistance. Herve Frederic is a wonderful fellow who was always available and responsive and who will assist with all manner of arrangements prior to your visit. We would definitely return to Thai Villa.

A very elegant house situated right on the beach with breathtaking views!

We were visiting on our honeymoon with high expectations and this property provided more than we expected. The complex was beautiful and the staff was very nice and helpful. We look forward to coming back. Note that renting a car or motorbike is recommended because there is not much within walking distance.
