Good for a short stay. The shower was weird to say the least as on the design. Perhaps some upgrade to spec for the futu

Perfect Penta

A friendly and helpful young lady who was in charge greeted us on arrival. Nothing was too much trouble for her during our stay, she made sure we had a pleasant stay. Super large rooms with comfortable bed and good-sized bathroom. Spotlessly clean throughout. The breakfast room was decorated in a French style, which was very pleasing to the eye. I had the continental breakfast, and this was most adequate. Great location, good local transport from outside the front door. Highly recommended, I will most certainly stay here again.

There was nothing that l did not like about this hotel .Nothing that springs to mind....

A good base to explore the island.

room size, view, powerful shower, cleanliness. Tea and coffee making facilities.

Poor breakfast. everything was processed. No fresh fruit or protein. Shower gel and shampoo provided but in little plastic bottles. The hotel could move to refillable receptacles to reduce plastic waste.

No negatives really, the only reason we scored staff lower is because we didn’t actually see any staff until handing the room key back.

Exceptional

Very good location overlooking Douglas Bay. Being out of tourist season, it was nice and quiet. The breakfast was complimentary, and there is a nice room with a view outside onto the bay. It was great as a solo traveler like me. If I return to the Isle of Man, I would stay again.

We were upgraded to the sister hotel - The Regency. This is a 4* hotel and is further along the coast

Brilliant and comfortable even in winters

Located at the prime of the city with bus connectivity and all nearby facilities handy. Cleanliness , easy way of checking in and out to name a few

Good all-round boutique hotel and great value.

Location is excellent on the sea-front and within walking distance of the town centre. There is a Bus Mannin bus stop almost opposite with direct and regular service to the airport. The room and bathroom were spacious. Heating was very effective. Continental breakfast is great / perfectly adequate so ignore the negative remarks elsewhere. I needed extra consumables which were provided on request by attentive and responsive staff.

The lift was under maintenance and out of service for my last few days but I needed the exercise.

value for money in a good location

value for money. lovely staff. room and bathroom very clean as was the rest of the hotel. Continental breakfast was included in the price which was a bonus. would stay again. breakfast room had a view over the prom and tables cleared away promptly

the lift but it is in an old building and the size of the lift reflects this.

Horrible

No sound proofing, lots of noise day and night, bed very unconformable, very dated, hotel next door abandoned, damp smell, no staff on desk, very poor breakfast.

apart from a good walk into Douglas town centre, we really enjoyed our stay

sea front hotel

although there was a hair dryer, there were no plugs near to the big mirror and lead on hairdryer not long enough to reach what plugs and mirror there was

Pleasant

The location

Breakfast was very limited to toast n cereal Very noisey from room above TV kept losing sound The side table lamp kept going off untill I wiggled the cable Didnt really see any staff

Penta room 8 with a lovelt sea view

The room was very spacious with a gorgeous sea view. Plenty of storage in the room.

The light outside the room was on all night shining under and around the door, (i like a room to be pitch black) also no mini fridge to keep drinks/snacks cold.

Exceeded expectations

It was a positive experience overall. Sea view was fantastic from room. Complimentary breakfast just finished it off, lovely. Staff were considerate friendly and helpful.

Great location near Derby Castle so handy for transport. Value for money.

Breakfast was basic but adequate for our needs. Great location and good size bedrooms. Good value for money.

Issue with our door lock which was eventually sorted out.
