Good

Good location, room was small but adequate, great Breakfast except Sat & Sun when no fresh bread was available unlike Fiday when a generous supply of slice yourself bread available.

When we arrived at 9:30pm we were given a room that was not up to standard for 2 people, sloping ceilings with exposed beams intruding into the room. Having booked the room approx 5 mths in advance we did not think it was good enough, when I questioned our room the response was " It doesn't matter how long out you book your room, it's how soon in the day you arrive, book in early and you get the better room " found this response most unsatisfactory, thankfully they did find us a more suitable room ( don't know why we weren't given it in the first place. Rooms not serviced at anytime in our 3 day stay but were advised to ask for towels or wc paper if needed. Entrance to hotel is thru an outdoor lobby with a bar and tables and found most times it wasn't pleasant walking thru cigarette smoke and people sitting around drinking, on our first night had to walk thru water as a party going on in the area and one of the patrons had vomited so it had to be washed away, not pleasant.

Comfortable and affordable

Extremely central location. Amazing breakfast. Comfortable bed. Spacious shower with great water pressure and a proper shower divider separating the rest of the bathroom.

Exceptional

They let you pick the room (from what's available) and it tells you all the information you need to know. We picked the largest bed, and it was great. Breakfast is incredible as well. Perfect location, easy walk to the park, bars, or the marina. All great.

The location was the best. Easy access to the train and easy to get a tram or bus in any direction.

The only thing I didn't like was that breakfast started at 7. It was a bit difficult on mornings when we had an early train to catch.

It is a convenient, practical large hotel (part of a chain) with friendly, efficient staff.

Centrally located, on a busy shopping street, 5 minute walk from Oslo Central train station. Easy walking distance to many sites. Easy tram access, too. Very good location. Also, comfortable breakfast area - big. Breakfast buffet with good variety of food and drinks.

Room was rather tight for a twin room. Little space for hanging clothes, placing suitcase.

Very good

Location, the hotel is in a quiet location even though it’s very central. Bed is very comfortable and the room was clean.

Staff was ok enough but didn’t know about breakfast time since it was a bank holiday. Not overly eager to help.

Disappointing

The staff from the kitchen and breakfast time was amazing good!The hotel is a good location.

The room was 2small and the lift is so slow I had to go on the stairs,then the mattress was so soft, no tea or coffee in the room I didn’t like to fill up my tap of water in the bathroom too. Too much noise from outside till 1,2am In the morning the billders doing construction!

Would visit this hotel again without a doubt.

The room was stylish and modern. The breakfast area was extremely cosy and the breakfast itself was very rich in choices. Location of the hotel was convenient for us for this trip, because we had very limited time in Oslo and beign close to central station and opera really helped us save time in logistics.

We had some troubles guessing how the room door locks from inside.

little oasis in the city center

Breakfast is a blast. Tiny room but has everything you need, despite maybe a proper desk to work. I like their eco-friendly initiatives like bot cleaning everyday and a bag to leave pre-lobed clothes.

Great location, good for a business trip

Food was great, lovely breakfast buffet, although got very busy at weekend. Weekdays was great. Lots to choose. Hotel bar was nice atmosphere and not overpriced compared to rest of town (whole of Oslo/Norway is very expensive for food and drink - at least 1.5 to 2x UK prices). Location is great - right in centre of town on the main street - a 5 min walk down to station, and a 5 min walk up street to lovely square and big shopping area. Loads of restaurants all around. Beds were comfy although only 1 pillow. It's a budget hotel but totally fine for a business trip and for the price.

No tea/coffee making facilities in room. Only a machine downstairs on ground floor which we found by accident and only served hot water (Earl grey teabags available at reception) or coffee, no milk. Room was so hot and stuffy! Had to have window open to sleep. Room was very small - not that we needed space to walk about, but nowhere to hang clothes up (3 hangers against a wall) and we were up in the eves, so I had to duck under a beam to get round to my side of bed. Okay for 1 or 2 nights probably but we were there for a week.

Great stay overall, but not the best pillows

Breakfast was super good! Big variety of foods and drinks for everyone to have what they most enjoy to have for breakfast, very kid friendly as well! The hotel itself is super close to any public transport to get around town. The staff is super friendly and super helpful, both at the reception, in the restaurant and at the bar. Checkin/-out is super efficient and quick.

The beds and pillows were a bit uncomfortable, but clean. So if anything I’d prefer comfier mattresses and pillows

Great hotel with a really good vibe, close to the station

Great atmosphere in the hotel. Warm, inviting and a fun feel about the place. I loved seeing there was a ‘lazy Sunday’ late check-out until 6pm - what a great idea! Love it!

You sleep in a warrobe, not in a hotel room

We had booked 2 rooms in this hotel because it is in the centre of Oslo, and even if we had to pay a little bit more for the room (150 € including breakfast via Booking). What a disappointment! They are not rooms but wardrobes: see the picture, you can't even turn around the bed and you have to step over the suitcases! They are double beds but they give you 2 individual duvets and, on top of that, the mattress is so soft that we both sleep in the middle. And finally, the soundproofing is bad, you can hear people passing in the corridor. We strongly advise against it, even for 1 night: these are not hotel rooms!

The situation of the hotel is perfect, the room was what we needed, a very good breakfast, almost all was very good
