Beautiful 1882 Asbury Park Victorian STR Permit # 23-00816 This newly remodeled Victorian is just 6 blocks from the best beach on the Jersey shore. With a gorgeously restored exterior and completely reimagined modern interior that still retains the character of the original house. The wrap around front porch is perfect for relaxing with your morning coffee, an evening cocktail or dinner. Maybe you'd rather enjoy a quiet evening on the 2nd floor balcony to take in the evening sea breezes. Just beyond the entry foyer is an open plan living/dining area which leads to an amazing gourmet chefs kitchen with breakfast area. There are 3 full double bedrooms, an office area and a laundry room on the 2nd floor. There are two luxury full baths (1 spa shower upstairs and a tub and shower down). Central air conditioning keeps you comfortable throughout your stay. Just a 7 block walk to the train and 6 blocks to the downtown and entertainment area. Add onto this parking for 3 cars in the private driveway and you have the perfect Asbury Park vacation home.

Property was beautiful and in such a great location. John and Doug were the best hosts we have encountered and were there for any questions we had. You are within walking distance to everything which was great. Our Springsteen weekend was fantastic and both John and Doug played a major part in that. We would stay again in a heartbeat as the Jersey Shore now holds a special place in our hearts!

My family and I had an incredible time staying at John's house. There is so much history in the house and the surrounding neighborhood, it was a treat to be part of it. The location is central to everything - beach, restaurants and nightlife. We hope to come back again soon!

House was even nicer than the photos so we were very happy. Back yard was so pretty and it was the perfect space for a family gathering. The only issue I had was an exterminator came on the third day of a four day stay and sprayed for ants. This meant we couldn’t use the outdoor space because I have a toddler and the exterminator said it wasn’t safe for children or pets. I’m a little disappointed knowing that I had booked my trip 5 months prior and the owner knew that I have a one year old with me. I’m not sure why they couldn’t have had the pest people come after or even before our stay but I wasn’t informed until the day he was supposed to come and I had no options. But please don’t let this sway your choice as the house and the host were great. The property is gorgeous and again the listing photos don’t do it justice. Also the tenants who live in the cottage behind the house as so nice!

wonderful stay in asbury park. excellent hosts.
we had a very relaxing time in asbury park this summer. the spotlessly clean house with great AC is oozing character and is walking distance to the beach and all the best restaurants, bars, shops and cafes. the hosts were perfect: responsive, friendly and helpful. we logged heavy hours on the the covered front porch, our favourite part of the house. just an all around incredible stay. highly recommend.

This house was lovely and the communication with the hosts is a breeze! It was only a short walk to the beach! We had 5 people for the sea.hear.now festival and it was perfect. The house is wonderful and the backyard is a delight! Would definitely consider booking this house again!

The owners restored this home with exceptional care and considered every convenience; their impeccable taste shines in every room. From the state-of-the-art kitchen (a chef's dream!) to the luxe spa bathrooms, every room is impeccably appointed. I had to drag my husband to the beach every day... he was happier reading on the front porch, balcony, or in the beautifully landscaped back garden! The owners were thoughtful and responsive, and we will absolutely return. Thank you, John and Doug, for sharing your beautiful home!

Great vacation spot
The house was impeccably restored and wonderfully furnished. Backyard space is charming and great for entertainment. Kitchen is commercial grade. The owners were great to deal with and very accommodating. Easy access to the beach and restaurants. A great place for a long weekend or a week vacation.

Beautiful Home - Simply Great
This is a beautiful home only 6 blocks from the Asbury Park beach and boardwalk. The house is very clean, spacious and comfortable with lots of amenities including a chef's kitchen, incredible showers in the bathrooms, beautiful porch in the front, patio in the back, large screen TV and alarm system. The check-in process is smooth and simple - and John answered all of my questions in a friendly, timely manner. Thank you so much for a great week.

Wonderful family week in Asbury Park
With my wife and our two young children we spent a beach week at this beautiful home in Asbury Park. Just a short walk to the beach and tons of dining options, this home was the ideal setting for a week in the historic Asbury Park. John and Doug were the consummate hosts. No detail was left untouched in this beautifully decorated home, but also comfortable and welcoming. Pictures don't do justice. Great backyard for dinners and entertaining. Strong recommend.

Great stay in Asbury Park
Beautiful home in walking distance to the beach/boardwalk and Cookman Ave. The patio was beautiful. Even though I did very little cooking the kitchen was swoon worthy. The home was well appointed and there was great attention to detail.

Great house
We loved the house. John and Doug are great hosts and everything is top notch. There’s a beautiful back yard and great porches in the front. It’s only a 10 minute walk to the beach and close to many fine restaurants. We highly recommend this beautiful home to anyone who wants to visit Asbury Park.

Great house for a beach week
We had such a nice time staying at John and Doug’s home. You can tell they love this property by all the work they have put into it, both inside and out. We loved using the great kitchen and grilling appliances and really enjoyed sitting out on the patio for meals. The house is a walk from the beach and it’s great having parking because that can definitely be a challenge in this area, especially on weekends. Would definitely come back again.

Couldn't have been better!
Six of us rented this gorgeous house for Memorial Day weekend. We were blown away! The location was perfect - quiet, yet less than a 10-minute walk to the boardwalk; the house itself was immaculate, all recently renovated and beautifully furnished; the outdoor space in the back was a huge bonus and a great place to relax when we weren't out and about on the town. John (one of the property owners) was very responsive and very easy to work with. Couldn't recommend more! We will definitely be back!

Lovely house, good location.
We loved the house and thank you for the wonderful kitchen that a crazy grandmom could stir up a meal for the family. We enjoyed the front porch in the morning for coffee. So close to beach and restaurants.

Perfect Little Oasis in the Most Convenient Location
This newly renovated Victorian home is beautiful inside and out. With plenty of seating areas to relax and hang out, its perfect for a trio of adult couples looking to spend some time near the boardwalk. Not only is the home within half a mile of all the best restaurants and shopping, it has a fully stocked, wonderfully maintained kitchen that makes it easy to make meals at home for your friends or family while you vacation. I fell in love with the house as soon as I walked in, and I can't wait to stay there again in the future. John is very communicative, very helpful, and provides a wonderful write-up on the house and surrounding community to get you settled if you don't know the area (or need a refresher).

The property was lovely! Everything we needed was available. We enjoyed the porch and large kitchen. Bedrooms were comfortable and bathrooms beautifully done. Very walkable to restaurants, shopping and beach.
