A comfortable apartment near the heart of Zagreb

Comfortable and it matches the photos and description. The apartment is well located. Sven was responsive and check in was easy, he also organised a transport for the airport for us. Both UBER and Bolt are available in Zagreb if you would prefer to arrange your own transport.

The profile specifies that there is luggage storage. This is available but means leaving bags in the shared passage which is behind a locked door. We opted to use the lockers at the train station nearby.

Disappointing stay in anything but ‘deluxe’

Nice big windows in a great location. Host gives personal recommendations and communicates well.

We were so disappointed! This apartment needs a serious dose of TLC and attention to detail. On arrival the apartment was freezing, after 3 hrs of trouble shooting with the host, Sven popped around to fix the heating. Regarding the facilities - bearing in mind it’s listed as ‘Deluxe’: only one of the three kitchen lights were working, only one bedside light was working, the basin is chipped, the fitted sheet had a hole in it, the apartment has ONE teaspoon, there is no coffee maker of any variety (espresso pot, french press). The kitchen table is badly damaged, the bathroom is grubby and needs a good clean. It’s such a pity as I’m sure this was once a real beauty.

Clean, spacious and modern apartament.

If you are traveling by car, consider that the offered paid parking is about 7-8 mins walk away from the apartment (about 600m) which makes mandatory offloading the baggages first then taking the car to the parking spot. Other choice is to park on the boulevard, but the number of parking places is very limited.

Great central location, classic high stud apartment, clean and modern interior. Great bathroom. Perfect for my stay. Owner dropped me off at airport additional but convenient.

The location was great, very close to Zrinjevac and Tomislavac.

The bed was too small for 2 people, and not comfortable. The bedroom was also small and it felt like a box. There was a very bad small of sewage in the bathroom. I had better expectations from the photos.

Parking is a bit far so if you have more bags, park in front of the building, take them out and then drive car to a parking spot. Walking distance is approx. 10min from parking to apartment. Everything else was perfect!

Very centric, at a walking distance to every places you want to visit in the center. Close to train station, supermarket, restaurants, bakery store (this one is great!) We could have breakfast and cook dinner in the apartment. We were able to enter with the door key password, so it was easy to enter without knowing when we'd be arriving

we arrived at night and you can hardly see the entrance. There's no light and we had to use our mobile lanterns in order to find the door and enter the password. WiFi was down due to a provider issue. We had unlimited data in our cellphones, but this is probably a bad point for many travelers. There were no blinders or shutters in the bathroom (inexistent or broken) and it took them 1-2 days to get it fixed. Good thing is there were no neighbors in the front. The owner sent us restaurant suggestions that locals don't go too much, more for tourists, expensive, very centric and not so great food. We don't like this kind of places and we found ourselves the best restaurant where we ate in the center at less than 100m from the apartment in the same street!

Very new and tastefully decorated. Great communication from the host. Walking distance to Old Town.

Pillows Road noise when windows open - no aircon or fan so needed to open window for fresh air.

Incredible apartment

Amazing location, huge studio flat with great bathroom. Well equipped.

Curtains do nothing to block out light, so we bought sleeping masks as otherwise the sun woke us up around 6am.

Not really the best option

- The quick infos received by mail on how to reach the property - Extra infos received on e-mail for recommended restaurants & bars

- It doesn't really look like in the pictures - The sheets on the bed had little holes in them - The walls were not completely renovated - Complicated to get in the appartment - No elevator for the luggage
