Nestled in Bay Of Plenty, this lovely cottage for $97 per night is a fantastic option for your next vacation. Enter a secluded world of comfort, hidden from the hustle and bustle of a city. Our Swiss-Kiwi Retreat is an idyllic property with warm and friendly hosts. For your convenience, there's a fish and chips takeaway at a grocery store and a great restaurant on the main road. Bethlehem and Omokoroa are the closest towns to our place, 10 min away and Tauranga 20 min. Our Retreat is a getaway for Coromandel, Auckland, Rotorua and Taupo. There is also a fantastic vortex hydromassage spa pool on the property. Which can be booked for $10 per person, paid by arrival. We have three Cats—Ralph, our shy 13 years old cat, and Babe, a lovely mature lady; and Lilly, a young, friendly girl. We have got Kiwifruit and Avocado orchards nearby, and our neighbours have horses, sheep and cows. Special conditions: Smoking is allowed outside only. Couples preferred People who want to relax and unwind. No party, loud music. We cannot allow other people to stay at our property, by permission only. Extras; Linen (included); Breakfast (included for short term guests only); Spa pool (Optional, NZ$10.00 per person);

Stayed in the wonderful Swiss-Kiwi retreat on new year eve - after a scary 2 hour torrential rain drive from Auckland airport, my partner and I arrived to a wonderful welcome from our lovely hosts who took us straight to the incredible hot tub to relax and unwind after the drive. Thank you for being so wonderfully welcoming. Would recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway

The property is situated in beautiful rural surroundings with Omokoroa Beach a 5-10 min drive away, and Tauranga city 15 min away. The hosts are lovely, fresh bread and home made spreads provided on arrival! The chicken is very friendly, the cat is more of a cat; friendly when it wants pats. Both cabins are close to each other and the main house, yet I did not have any noise from either dwelling, though I had been looking for a bit more seclusion for the intended purpose of my trip. Regardless, the hosts and location more than made up for my misunderstanding of the venue, and the spa...oh the spa!!! Beautiful to soak under the stars, even when it started to rain.

Beautiful place, lovely hosts who are always there to assist. Spa pool was amazing, especially on a night where the stars fill the sky. Fresh home made bread, jams and yogurt. Peace and quiet. Loved having our chicken visitors coming by for breakfast every morning. Bless you both Monika and Rolf. Thank you for having us over. Naomi and Rikki.

We thoroughly enjoyed our month long stay at the Chalet, the property is spotless and has everything you need for a long or short stay. Monika and Rolf welcomed us upon arrival and were available every day should we have needed assistance. The location is rural, perfect starry nights and Oh so quiet. An excellent country escape, a convenient location to explore The Bay of Plenty with very good golfing within 20 minutes! We would definitely return should our next adventure take us back to NZ.

Everything was just perfect. The host is very friendly and we enjoyed the hospitality and the conversations. The location was fit to purpose as we were after some relaxation time away from Auckland busy traffic and we were not disappointed. Monika and Rolf have been very helpful with "things to do" and resturents recommendations. We cant thank you enough for accommodating us at your beautiful Swiss-Kiwi retreat I will definitely be visiting again ♡

Monika and Rolf were extremely welcoming and kind hosts and could not do enough for us. The cabin is very comfortable, the setting is beautiful and the personal touches made it even more special. And the spa at nighttime under the stars is amazing! Thank you so much Monika and Rolf and I would recommend this little paradise to anyone! Lovely retreat! Everything so carefully and thoughtfully set up. The kitchen was so easy to navigate and well provisioned! The place was clean, warm and quiet. There was this pleasant smell permeating through the whole cottage. And Monika was incredibly welcoming and hospitable. We are really looking forward to coming back one day!

My partner and I were looking for chill and relaxing place to spend our holiday away from busy as city. When we got there only noise was from nature which one made us so comfy and relaxed. The place was so nice and clean, everything was well organized we felt very welcomed. Monica the host introduced every farms (we really loved her homemade jam from this farm!) and hidden spots right after we arrived. And the best thing was the outdoor spa at night! That view, sky with full of stars and shadows of palm trees, I will never forget that moment! I hope we can come back here for winter holiday for its cute fireplace :))
