Superb

Very lovely stay! We were here for 6 nights as we were attending an festival. We were given a newly refurbished, clean and spacious room. It came equipped with everything we needed for our stay and the staff were very friendly and responsive. Would highly recommend for an affordable stay in St. Paul's bay.

There wasn't a microwave in the room so we had to reheat all of our food on the stove which wasn't always ideal. Otherwise, everything else was great.

Not good.

The host answered questions and tried to help us out with our room.

My family was placed in a room directly above a restaurant patio resulting in a noisy stay. When the advertisement says that you can "top up" your air conditioning they actually mean that you start with zero air conditioning and that you are welcome to pay extra for air conditioning. Check in took about 1/2 hour as there was no one at the front desk to let us in the door when we arrived. Laundry facilities are in the basement along with the biggest cockroaches I've ever seen. Mattresses were extremely uncomfortable.

The room was clean, rather well equipped, the staff of the aparthotel are very nice and and the location is close to the beach, restaurants and shops.

The wi-fi connection disconnected every time, the electricity jumped at least 1 time every day and sometimes several times a day.

it was a nice stay but we expected more.

good location, there was an elevator, kitchen with fine equipment - stove, oven, kettle and fridge, some plates and cutlery. also we got bottle of water on first day.

the fact that you need to clean it yourself, we needed to ask for fresh towels (due to humidity they don’t try fast) and at first day we heard that we needed to take trashes by ourself and also there wasn’t any soap, also there wasn’t free AC in the room.

The staff was really nice

terms of the room, they mentioned that there was a microwave, but there wasn't, and in terms of the lighting in the room, it was dark and less bright. Regarding the electric gas, they didn't mention that it was without electricity, which means we had to light with matches and And the faucet drips all the time it was a nightmare

We chose this aparthotel because it was close to bus stops with loads of buses going all over the island . There were mini markets close by too, it was was very clean & our room was comfortable, big & bright with all conveniences .

We would have liked the Reception to be opened longer , it closes rather early . I wanted to ask for something a few times and it was closed till the next morning.The phone wasn’t working in the room so we couldn’t call reception and the Wi Fi constantly needed to be logged into if you weren’t using it for 10 minutes !

Functional clean place to stay to see St. Paul

Nice view from top. Quiet (though we could hear some speaking through the walls) Clean marble floor. Overall clean. Beds were fine. Large room. Easy checkin/checkout after hours. Location is excellent. Close to spar grocery store and easy to walk to bus stops. Very nice staff. Run by local Maltese family.

Had no hot water for one day, and weren't able to contact anyone until the next morning for assistance (might have been our fault...I am not sure...maybe we flipped a switch we shouldn't have). This hotel is functional, but it looks like it was a converted retirement home, because much of the stuff you would find in a retirement home was still there (like extra supports in the shower, etc). It is a nice place, and totally functional, but not the most romantic. Still had things like mops for cleaning in the hotel sitting in bathroom. It is located in center of the municipality, so no sea view. Oddly, he asked us to sort and take our our own trash (bottles in one place, cardboard somewhere else, garbage put in black bag and put in dumpster across the street). We didn't mind, but I had never had that request before in a hotel. Kitchen has stove top, but no pots or pans or bowls even, so not possible to cook anything.

The room was quite big, clean, well equipped. The owner was really helpful. The hotel is located close to the centre of the city, also close to the promenade near to the seaside. We had a very nice time there!

Good value place

Friendly staff, good location and pretty quiet at night.

The internet logs you out every time you close your phone. Very irritating to have to log in each time. Works fine on laptop though.

We had a great stay.

We had an apartment with two rooms, two bathrooms and a kitchen. Everything was clean. Before our stay, Alexei contacted me and asked when we will arrive and if we need a taxi from the airport to the apartment. That worked great. If you have any questions, you can always ask Alexei. We had a pleasant stay.

Unfortunately the walls are very thin. If you have noisy neighbors, it can be very annoying.

Very good

Perfect localization - everything you need at the reach of a hand. Owners are supernice and have provided us with all necessary stuff, since there's been couple of plates and cutlery lacking in our apartment.

A bit messy room - it wasn't cleaned properly befora our stay, but it was ok.

Nice long stay!

Facilities are very close by, the neighborhood is very quiet and calm to relax. The room are quite big and the staff is super nice :)

The beds aren't that comfortable, but everything else was perfect.

Exceptional

Alexei and his family were perfect hosts!! They were there for what ever was needed to make my and stay of my family as plesant as possible. Alexei helped us with assisstance in the hotel, with instructions and advices about Malta, public transportation, rent a car, sim cards,... For Rest Aparthotel is really good, we had apartment with two rooms, there were 2 bathrooms, and separated kitchen with big dining table. It was really confortable and spacious. There are reztorants, pabs and supermarket (Spar) really close, all under 5 min walk. Also, there is rent a car next door, and 2 bus stations 2 or 3 min away (and few more a bit further, 5 - 15 min walk) so moving across the island is very good and easy with public transportarions. We had very good time and we are comming back to For Rest for sure! 🙂 Thanks a lot and see you soon!

I recommend the apartment to everyone. You have everything you need. All my expectations were met. Excellent location, close to bus station, bakery, shop, restaurant. The rooms are large, the kitchen is very well equipped. I will gladly come back. The hosts are always available, ready to meet.

Wonderful stay in Malta!

That was really wonderful place to spend a week on Malta island. Beautiful room with view on the sea and other buildings in Bugibba, quiet and peaceful in February. A lot of sun thanks to very big windows. The room had an oven, induction hob, fridge, everything that was needed for cooking and cleaning. The hotel is well connected to the beautiful Valetta. It's very easy to go by bus to Mellieha, Foresta 2000 Nature Reserve and the Rdumi il-Quammieh Coast trail - my favorite places in Malta. Easy access to the ferry to Gozo. I would highly recommend this hotel for your wonderful visit in Malta.

nicely renovated family run hotel in Bugibba

+ we've got a free upgrade (room 701) at the top floor with the large terrace and with a view to the sea, St. Paul's island and Mosta on the other side. + the hot water (shower) was above Maltese standard and provided great pressure and sufficient capacity. + the staff was very attentive yet not at all intrusive. + the room was of a very good size and so was the fridge and the dining table. + the hob (but beware it's induction and the frying pan was not suitable for frying - i.e. steaks) and oven. + cleaning tools. + drying rack. + very comfy bed. + washing machine and dryer in the basement (€5 surcharge). + recycling bins (although markings could have been better everything was explained to detail). + quite fast lift. + tv with receiver (connected with hdmi cable which comes handy if you have your notebook). + restaurant offering discounted menu for guests.

- difficult to park a car even during the low season. - cigarette smell in the skylight. - WiFi signal was not the best at 7th floor and it comes with the captive portal login instead of WEP/WPA, disconnecting devices after some time.
