Great location, well stocked, soft beds (if you like that). Living room couch was big and comfy for my 12 year old to sleep on and my 10 year old slept on the pullout in the master. Loved the balconies too!

We really enjoyed the location and quietness of this property. The rooms are nicely sized and everything is labeled so you know what to put where, etc. The parking instructions were a little confusing, but we figured it out.
Our only issue was response time from the property manager. They were located outside of Hawaii and would often take hours to reply. The air conditioning wasn't working for two days of our stay, which was a bummer.
We would definitely stay here again-- but would keep in mind that response times may be slow.

We had a very nice stay in a beautiful home. I was tickled about actually being able to control the AC since I am very sensitive to heat. We would set it at 65-70 while home and up to 80 when we left the house and it worked for everyone. There are tons of supplies, pretty much anything you need has been considered. I loved access to the bikes in the garage which was above & beyond typical condo rentals on the island.
My only complaint is that the Roku wasn’t working which my son and I enjoy watching. Most people on vacation don’t have time for tv I imagine but we were working and not on vacation.I would definitely stay here again when I am back in the area.

This property was very comfortable and in an excellent location for our trip. The kitchen was well equipped and the bed was comfortable. We especially enjoyed the bicycles for riding to the parks!

My family and I stayed here for 7 nights in January. Condo is exactly as described. Very well stocked kitchen and outdoor BBQ. In a great location near shopping and food. Having access to the beach club was amazing. Karen was great to work with. Great stay!

Great summer getaway
We just returned from a wonderfully relaxing week on the Big Island. We very much enjoyed our time at this property. The amenities and furnishings were perfect for us - we had 2 great BBQ fish dinners, multiple bike rides to beautiful sunsets, workouts at the fitness facility and great beach trips to the Beach Club, as well as to multiple other beaches using the provided beach towels/umbrellas/cooler/boogie boards to ensure we were fully prepared for comfortable beach adventures. Even just having the togo coffee cups was a great help for our first day pre-dawn trek over to Volcano to (finally) see glowing lava...just a great trip which this property really helped to ensure we had...thanks!

Pictures did a great job of showcasing residence. House was fully stocked with essentials. Tranquil outdoor sitting areas on both the main floor and upper levels were an added bonus. Host was easy to reach to get simple questions answered.

We have stayed in a lot of properties in the Mauna Lani Resort, but this one by far was the best. Loved the location for easy walking to the beach each morning. The beds were extremely comfortable, and the access to anything and everything needed to enjoy the beach or resort was there!
I really enjoyed being able to park in the garage, made the access super easy. It was so nice that we had a remote for the entry gate too. Karen really has thought through all the little things to make the stay the best possible.
Looking forward to returning again and staying here!! We loved it!

It's well equipped with all you'll need (beach towels, boogie boards, bikes, floats, kitchen tools, internet, etc.); however, the previous guests had ripped off one of the kitchen cabinets and broken the aging washing machine (luckily cleaners were able to repair it). I had requested an early check-in 4 weeks prior to our arrival -- owner said she'd check w/the cleaners. The unit was not ready when we arrived at 4 pm -- apparently the owner had told her cleaners that we weren't arriving until the following day. We were unable to access the unit until 6:30 PM and had spent the entire afternoon with our luggage in a hot car. Not a great start to a vacation. We've never had problems w/VRBO in the past. Kulalani is a great area -- quiet and laid back with 2 pools and a small fitness room. Access to great beaches and close to grocery stores and restaurants.

A lovely getaway
First, Karen was absolutely amazing to deal with before and durning our stay. You couldn’t ask for a better home owner to communicate with. She is very quick to respond and her check in process is so easy. The home is amazing, the pictures are spot on. I appreciate all of the lovely artwork in her home, it gave it that wonderful island feel. Also, we forgot our blue book and when we walked in their it was. She supplies you with the Hawaii Revealed book, yes you can get a lot of information online but there is something about having a copy in your hand especially when you can have spotty service on parts of the island. The home has everything you will need on vacation, bikes, beach chairs, cooler and many more amenities.
We have stayed at the Mauna Lani four times and this property by far is the best. We love everything about the Mauna Lani the convenient grocery store and the private beach are the best. I would definitely come back to this property.

Very nice home
The house was very nicely decorated and full of amenities. There were plenty of household items that we didn't have to buy ourselves. In addition, there were lawn chairs, towels, body boards, and an umbrella to take the beach. There were also bicycles that we could have used to ride to the beach club or fairmont hotel. There were plenty of bath towels, soap, shampoo, and toilet paper. We had a problem with the grill and notified the owner. It had trouble starting and then ignited in a huge fireball. She was prompt in her reply but unfortunately could not get the issued resolved by the time we left. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Wonderful stay for our family!
We stayed here as a family of four with our two kids (3-years-old and 20-months-old). The home was super clean and had a lot of things you would need in an everyday home. There was an extra sleeping bed for our toddler so we only needed to bring one pack n play bed. The kitchen was large and well stocked, bedrooms were spacious and everything was provided. We ran into a few issues that were out of Karen's control like the A/C stopped working and BBQ propane tank was out 5 minutes into barbecuing, but we contacted Karen and she was super understanding and helpful. Location was great and it felt super safe! The access to the Beach Club was amazing! The beach there was perfect for our kids and we went early enough to grab a cabana (we went around 8:30-9:00am). The garage in Karen's home had so many beach toys, boards, chairs and coolers. It was such a great place for our kids, they didn't want to leave! We travel often and this home is the most well stocked home we'd stayed in that accommodated us and our kids. Mahalo Karen!!!

Hawaii Vacation 2019
Our stay here was very pleasurable. Thank you Karen for lending your place out to our family of 4 to stay while on the big island for 2 weeks!!! The house was great - we appreciated the use of beach towels, beach chairs, and beach toys! Having those small items included with the condo rental are some of the reasons we stay were we do and that add up to an enjoyable vacation! House was clean and everything was in working order, we would stay here again in a second!

This is a wonderful condo/townhouse in a development on the grounds of the Mauna Lani. The kitchen is fully loaded, the appliances are great and I would definitely stay here again.

You get exactly what you see in the pics. Very nice place, clean, quiet, fully functional, spacious for our family of 4, and in paradise no less. Everything you could expect from a rental, and more. Lots of extras included, mostly kitchen and beach stuff which we used daily. We would definitely stay again! Thanks Karen for being easy to reach, attentive to detail and for providing a very comfortable and well appointed rental for a good price. See you again sometime...

The perfect property!
This property really was perfect - it matched its description & was spotlessly clean & well organized.
The beds were quite possibly the most comfortable I have ever slept in!
The condo has everything you need to enjoy your time on Big Island including beach chairs & huge beach towels, coolers, bikes & boogie boards. Access to the beach club is also included & it’s an excellent spot to snorkel.
The owner was super helpful & friendly.
I would recommend this condo & also this area of coast on Big Island to anybody planning a trip here.

KulaLani Haven
How refreshing it was to come to a condo after staying in a hotel. The condo was comfortable, well equipped and nicely located on the island of Hawaii. We never felt crowded -there was ample room for my family of 5. Although we did not take advantage of the beach club, the access card was nice to have. Similarly the availability of a fitness center, pool and barbecue was nice but here too, we did not use them. Most of our time was spent out and about exploring the island. I would absolutely consider staying here again and have no reservations about recommending this property for other travelers.

The property was excellent for a family vacation!
A perfect location for a family vacation. The little one enjoyed running on the greenbelt, and the beach and pool were very close. Each bedroom had an on-suite which allowed for privacy. I would definitely book this condo again!

Very comfortable stay with everything we needed
We had two families stay at this lovely condo. It was very comfy and spacious for us. The rental had everything we needed. We are bummed we didn’t have more tile to enjoy riding the bikes around. The pool was nice and warm with a kiddie pool for the little ones. The beach club access was really nice! And the garage had so many amenities for us to use. My daughter even commented that it feels like we were at home instead of a hotel rental. We had stayed at a condo on Maui right before this trip and she didn’t even make that comment there. The information we needed for check in and check out was very thorough. We love the location. We will definitely consider coming back and staying here. The only change we would make is stay longer than we did this time.

Great family vacation
The condo was easy to find and the instructions were great. There is a grocery store very close to quickly pick up food. The condo is spacious, well laid out, and very nice. We were able to use the beach access several times. We really enjoyed getting to use the beach towels and sand toys that were provided. This was an unexpected treat and very much appreciated. The is very easy to communicate with and very helpful. I would definitely stay here again. Thanks!!

Beautiful condo!
We had a quick stay at this unit and loved it! The home is in pristine condition and there are so many amenities at your fingertips. We especially appreciated the bikes that we could use. We had friends staying at the Fairmont Orchid and we could ride our bikes to and from without any issue (less than 1/2 mile away). I would book here again without hesitation.
