This was our families 4th trip to Captiva. It never disappoints. We had a wonderful stay. The weather was not as good as we remembered from last trips but we bundled up and enjoyed!! Our ferry experience was not the best but we worked it out on our return. The island is working on returning to normal after the horrible hurricane 2 years ago. There was still so much devastation but we did not allow it to ruin our trip. We will return!!

This house was great! Everything was just as listed. Steve the owner was very responsive and so helpful to us. We had never been to North Captiva before and was a little nervous but he answered all our questions. The island is beautiful. Very quiet and relaxing. Just what we were looking for. We also took Captain Steve’s boat tour and highly recommend it!! We will be back and hope to stay at the same house and take the same boat trip again!!

My husband, two daughters, and my mom stayed a week in North Captiva at Steve's Rockstar Beach House. We had an absolutely fantastic time, and the beach house truly felt like home! Steve was super responsive to all of our questions and made the planning process a breeze. When we weren't enjoying ourselves at the beach or the pools, we kept ourselves plenty busy with the treasure trove of games. And, we were fortunate enough to be able to take the island tour on Steve's boat, which we highly recommend! He has so much knowledge of the area, and he taught my girls the names of different seashells. Within the first ten minutes of getting on the boat, we were fortunate enough to see manitees and dolphins! My youngest really took to Steve and she named the stuffed manitee we bought her Captain Steve! This placed rocked, and we can't wait to come back!

My family had a wonderful time at Rockstar Beach House. The house was very clean and worked well for our family of 4 (2 kids- ages 10 and 3). The house had everything we needed for cooking and had a nice selection of games. The water filter didn’t work very well, but the faucet water wasn’t bad at all and we ordered enough gallon water, so no issues. I would definitely recommend this house for other families with 2 or less kids) and I highly recommend captain Steve’s boat tour. My boys loved it!

The Rockstar house surpassed our expectations!
We were a little nervous about being on an island in which we had to take a ferry to get there without a car. The ferry ride was about 20-30 minutes, so it was a nice little ride. The house was excellent and perfect for our family of four! I was content just staying at the house! The beach was the most private we’ve ever seen and Steve was awesome to work with! We went on a 9-11 excursion one day out on his boat; He knows so much information about the island. We saw dolphins, tortoises, and manatees and snorkeled and saw crabs, huge shells still occupied, and LOTS of sand dollars. Restaurants are starting to open back up. Just make sure you bring over plenty of food! This is paradise!

Steve is an amazing host. His home was beautiful, clean with everything you need for your stay. I felt at home as soon as I walked into his home. Steve was available for any questions.
Took a boat tour with him and it was so much fun loved the islands he brought us to and a sandbar that had so many sand dollars.

I was so impressed with how responsive Steve was when I had questions regarding property prior to booking. Once we booked our stay, he immediately communicated detailed steps and instructions and continued to answer questions quickly. We LOVED this property and everything available to us. The location was perfect, especially if you are looking for a peaceful, relaxing retreat. I slept like a baby EVERY NIGHT. It just felt so comfortable and like home. My daughter and her friends (18 yo) kept saying "this place has good vibes". We absolutely loved the hot tub and outdoor deck and enjoyed the use of the golf cart exploring the island. We also went on Steve's boat adventure and that was absolutely our favorite part of the trip. He was a lot of fun and knew so much about the area. DO NOT PASS THAT UP!! It is a must!! We hope we can go back again next year if the girls college and work schedule allow and my friends want to do a trip as well after seeing all our pictures and videos.

The Rockstar beach house exceeded all our expectations. It had everything we needed and was immaculately clean. The beds were comfortable and linens were soft and quality. My tiki loving 10 year old loved the tiki statue in the living room and kitten picture. The game selection was top notch and keep us occupied when we needed a break from the sun. I’d highly recommend this property!!!!

This is a quality home with great layout of indoor and outdoor space, comfortable for our family of 4. 5 min golf cart rode to 2 different beach access points, access to island club pools and paddle boards. Had everything you need in the kitchen , and owner was great about communicating specifics of what to expect. Definitely recommend a boat tour with captain steve!! Highlight of fhe trip 10/10!

Highly recommend Steve’s house—it was quiet, comfortable, convenient, and has the perfect vacation vibe. They made the logistics of the island so easy. But wherever you stay, you must do Captain Steve’s boat adventure tour—he’s an island treasure and shares his knowledge generously—the adventure was the top highlight in a week full of them.

We had a great stay at this home, very well stocked and comfortable! The island is still recovering from hurricane Ian. We enjoyed the beaches, pool, golf cart, and hot tub. We would highly recommend and would return.

There are so many great things to say about staying at this property. I’ve been to the island many times over the years and this was one of my favorite homes I’ve stayed in! It was myself, my husband and my 4 & 10 year old children. The home was clean and had everything we needed (plenty of towels, extra linens, pool toys, board games, kitchen full of cooking tools, etc.). Both bathrooms were very spacious, the hot tub was clean and operated perfectly, there are doors in almost every room to step out onto the balcony. The owner has clearly put a lot of time, thought and effort into making it a comfortable stay. Next time we plan to take one of his island tours as well because if it’s anything like the home, we won’t be disappointed!

We had a blast at Rockstar Beach House. Everything you need and more is provided. Steve is super responsive no matter how small your question is. The island is beautiful. Shelling and beaches are amazing! Plan to go with Steve on a 1/2 day shelling/sightseeing trip- this was a highlight of our trip. Steve's recommendation of Captain Richard's fishing trip was on point- another amazing day!

My husband and I stayed here for our honeymoon, and it was wonderful! It was clean, well stocked, and in a very lovely location. It took us all of 3 minutes to get to the beach from there. The hot tub was fantastic. I absolutely recommend booking here!

It's obvious that a lot of thought and care were placed into every detail. My husband quickly became a master of Tiki Toss, waiting around on me every day! The hot tub was so nice to relax in every evening after long walks! The boat tour offered by this homeowner was the perfect complete to our trip. We were able to see wildlife, and great local conversation! It was the most magical place - almost like the animals and plants, land and sea, put on a show specially for you! But the wonderful thing is, it's just what they do in this beautiful piece of the world! We found an effortless place to take our time, relax, and soak in every moment that the house and island had to offer us.

Such a great experience!
We loved the house. It was perfect for my husband, 13 yo son, MIL, and me. Hot tub was amazing in the evenings, house was clean and well equipped. Highlight of our trip was the 4 hr boat ride with Captain Steve. The whole family enjoyed shelling and our trip to cabbage bay. We also played in the pool at the NCIC and went kayaking. Very great time. Looking forward to going back!

The house was very clean and comfortable. The owners information made travel to and from a breeze. We enjoyed trekking to the point, kayaking and biking. Often times we were the only ones on the beach. When the weather was inclement, the house was a very cozy place to catch up on our reading.

Comfortable and quiet home
We enjoyed our stay at Rockstar house. The bed was very comfortable, the house was super clean and (other than never finding a cutting board) the kitchen had everything we needed. It was nice have a deck at the front and the back of the home. When it was very hot from the sun in the back we could move to the front deck that provided more shade. The home is in a very quiet area and very easy to get to the pool or the beach.

I have been visiting the N. Captiva Islands for over 20 years and the biggest issue everyone knows about is the GOLF CARTS. This house came with a working golf cart.

Rockstar/North Captiva
This was our first visit to North Captiva, my husband and I had an awesome time! We watched many of stunning sunsets on the beautiful beaches, kayaked, enjoyed checking out the island on the golf cart, the evenings were quiet and relaxing. The Rockstar house was in a great location and perfect for the two of us! The description and amenities listed were accurate, Steve was super helpful in making our first trip smooth and we will definitely be back!

Exactly what we needed!
My wife and I were looking to get away from the city for a few days to simply enjoy the peace and quiet and spend some one on one time with each other. We found this, and much more at Rockstar! The island may be all that’s left of “Old Florida”. No cars, traffic, strip malls, billboards…just pristine beaches, boats, and wildlife. The beach house is absolutely beautiful and stocked with everything we needed for the five days we were on the island. Steve covered everything we needed to know about transportation, the house, activities, restaurants, shopping, etc prior to our arrival. Everything went smoothly. We also opted for the half day boat charter that Steve offers, which was the highlight of our trip and a “must do” in our opinion! Even though Linda and I grew up in this area, we saw a part of the islands that we never knew existed. If you’re a shelling enthusiast, Cayo Costa is a goldmine! Our conversations with Steve will be unforgettable.
This was the most beautiful and relaxing vacation we could have asked for. Amazing sunsets, kicking back on a breezy porch, soaking in the hot tub and mastering the “Tiki toss” on the bottom deck are just a few of our favorite things to do during our visit. We highly encourage you to take a mental health break and book the Rockstar!
