This property was everything we were looking for. It was clean, well maintained and had all the amenities for a home away from home with parking. For our family trip to DC we spent a lot of time sightseeing which made this property the perfect home base. We were less than a block from the bus, a block from the Metro and a little over a mile from the US Capitol. Would book this property again and recommend to friends.

We came to DC to cheer on our daughter at the Marine Corps Marathon. The house was perfect for us and our extended family! It was close to Eastern Market and Trader Joe's, and just blocks to the Metro so we could easily get around the city without getting stuck in car traffic. The house was clean, spacious and had room for everybody. We'll be back!

We spent fall break in DC with our two tween boys. This row home was perfect! It was clean, well decorated and Desiree even provided coffee, cream and a few snacks. Staying in this home helped us feel like locals in a cute neighborhood. It was an easy walk to the Metro, 8th Street shops and restaurants and Eastern Market area. We couldn’t have been happier with our stay!

It was great! We are seniors, and we actually walked to the National Mall, the wharf, and the ballpark. Uber was available to catch a ride home. The unit itself was stunning. One really nice thing was the off-street parking. If you have a large vehicle, you may have to back it into the bushes, but it will work.

We loved everything about our stay at this property! Linens and towels were of supreme quality and the house was immaculate upon arrival! Although we did not use the metro, we were very close to the Capital, Zoo and the National Mall. We took an Uber everywhere. Comfy beds and living quarters. Desiree was very responsive and helpful...We had so much fun and will be back!

We were a group of four friends in town for a reunion. The home was perfect for us—immaculate, great gathering spaces downstairs, well-equipped kitchen, excellent mattresses (luckily one in our group was comfortable taking the top bunk), all we needed in the two full bathrooms and lots of natural light throughout. Neighborhood restaurants around the corner with the Capitol and Library of Congress accessible with an easy 13 block walk (lined with restaurants, stores and cafes). The off-street parking spot was appreciated as street parking is limited. Our host (Desiree) was great—she shared well-organized information about the home and area in advance and was available within seconds when we had an issue with one of the keys (the issue was resolved within minutes). All in our group agreed we would absolutely stay here again.

Desiree is an absolutely amazing host with a beautiful home. Extremely homey feeling in an absolutely beautifully restored home. More than enough room for my family of five to spread out and relax. The houseis a 5 min walk to the metro, ao it is super convenient to everything you will want to do in the DC area. Will look for this house again when we come back. Thank you Deairee!!

In the heart of DC, this property was a key enjoyment factor for our stay. Close to the metro stop, it enabled us to go anywhere easily. Rooms were comfortable and the bathrooms nice. The kitchen was well equipped and they were even nice enough to leave us some treats.
Finishes were beautiful and you experience living live a local. A market within 2 blocks for anything we needed.
