I cannot say enough great things about this property!! It was so clean and had everything you could want in a rental property. Rodney and Karen were absolutely wonderful and definitely made us feel more than welcome. The back patio is a lovely place to enjoy coffee or a barbecue dinner. It is in a perfect location, just a few blocks from downtown and the beach. If I ever in the area again I will definitely be checking to see if this property is available first. Cannot recommend enough!!

An awesome start to retirement!!!

This was without a doubt the best experience with VRBO. Our hosts Karen and Rod are in a league by themselves. They went out of their way to make our stay feel like we were having a reunion with long lost friends. The cottage grounds are exceptionally beautiful and so relaxing. The cottage itself was very comfortable with all the amenities you need for your stay. We wish we could have stayed longer!

Beautiful Cottage nestled in a lush landscaped property. Main house occupied by the most wonderful hosts, Rod & Karen. I almost forgot Deetroit, boarder collie mix, just as nice as his owners. Cottage is immaculate with a huge shower with all to hot water you’ll ever need. Just enough of a kitchen to reheat your take home from plenty of great eateries close by. We did a lot of breakfast cooking to save for dining out for dinner. So much more, but you’ll have to experience it for yourself to see that this VERBO Property is a definite 5 Star establishment. Thank you Rod & Karen for a wonderful 9 Days. Can’t wait to book again. Very Best, Mike & Lynn

My husband and I can’t say enough about our stay! We had the best experience. The cottage was adorable and so clean! Gardens were so great to see each day! Kitchen was stocked and we had so much available to us...beach chairs, beach towels, bikes, kayaks, washer dryer etc! It was in a great location and the hosts, Rod and Karen, were just amazing! We were greeted with wine and cookies! Doesn’t get better! We will absolutely be back to this adorable, relaxing home away from home!

Coming back!

This is the 5th place we’ve stayed at in Lake Worth and is the best by far. We have already booked it for next year. The hosts, Rod and Karen, were friendly and helpful while also respecting our privacy. I loved sitting near the fire pit and one night even had a fire. We also loved the privacy of the backyard. Loved our stay at Rod & Karen’s cottage. A beautiful and relaxing setting. Lake Worth is a great little town with lots to do. The cottage was clean & very comfortable. We were welcomed with a bottle of wine and freshly baked cookies. Great hosts!

The cottage was immaculate. The hosts, Rod and Karen treated us like old and dear friends. The neighborhood was quiet, safe, beautiful and historic. If you need anything during your stay, just ask! If Rod has it, you’ll get it. Simply delightful property! Look forward to returning.

Great location, wonderful little gem in Lake Worth!

We stayed for a week in January, and couldn’t have been more pleased with this little cottage. Rod and Karen are such great hosts and provide everything to make their guests comfortable. Very comfortable bed and pillows, wonderful shower and bathroom, everything you could possibly need in the kitchen, including coffee and creamer for the Keurig coffeemaker, and a very nice living room area. Everything was spotless. And they are very responsive to anything you might need. We were greeted with a nice bottle of wine, and even a little appreciation gift on check-out day. We loved the outdoor fireplace in the front of the cottage and the private area with umbrella and patio set in the back. I was happy to find they also have a washer and dryer which was so convenient. The location is perfect to walk or ride the provided cute bikes to town for dinner at the many Lake Worth restaurants we love. Or it’s not too far to walk or ride across the bridge to one of the great beach-view restaurants. We love Lake Worth and will look forward to returning Rod and Karen’s Claddaugh House again!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Parrot Cove. The cottage was extremely clean and had all the items needed for a comfortable stay. Rodney and Karen are fantastic hosts and were always quick to respond to questions. They went above and beyond to make our stay memorable—even including a bottle of wine. The backyard is beautifully landscaped and just a little slice of paradise. We enjoyed our morning coffee at the little seating area outside the cottage. The location couldn’t have been better—walkable to downtown, the grocery, and the beach. We did enjoy using the bikes to get around town as well and found it no trouble at all to manage without a car. We can’t wait to visit again and will definitely be booking our stay at the Claddagh House!

We could not have been more thrilled to find this beautiful hidden gem in Lake Worth. Rod and Karen are incredible hosts, so accommodating and kind. The cottage is comfortable and peaceful and the grounds are just lovely. Rod and Karen go above and beyond to make your vacation delightful! Our visit was fantastic as the cottage was decorated with cheerful colors and it was carefully greatly stocked covering every need from kitchen and bathroom supplies to bikes, boats, and grill. We really enjoyed the front and backyard sitting areas. Ron and a Karen are delightful hosts who even furnished a welcome bottle of wine and warm cookies.

I have stayed in several VRBOs, and every one has disappointed in some way. Until now. This is literally the BEST place I have ever stayed. Never has a place been so clean or accommodating with every travel need being met. Even though the pictures are amazing, it’s even better in person. And Rod and Karen are the kindest, most hospitable and accommodating hosts ever. Walking through a whimsical garden gate into a beautiful, private garden heaven with a warm plate of fresh baked cookies, a wonderfully welcoming and friendly host, followed by a great bottle of Moscato upon entry is the best way to start a vacation. I can’t wait to get back to that beautiful garden oasis my next trip out!!!

Everything from online booking, owner follow-ups, arrival details, suggestions for food and location was Perfection! The Parrot Cove, Claddagh House was Fantastic! Perfect size, clean clean clean, everything felt new and in great working order, hot water and water pressure.... we are so pleased! Lake Worth night life is a short stroll away or borrow the bicycles. The beach too is real close

We had a wonderful stay with Rod and Karen they were great hosts. Every time I talked about doing something like riding the bike to get coffee or going to the beach he had everything ready in anticipation. We would definitely stay with them again and look forward to maybe coming back when we can use the outdoor fire pit.

Rod and Karen have done a great job making an historic cabin into a great get-away home. The cabin is comfortable and well outfitted; we moved right in and started enjoying our stay. Rod and Karen were excellent hosts, giving us both the attention and the privacy we needed, as well as providing tips on local happenings and fun opportunities. We would go back in a heartbeat.

I'm always skeptical about renting from sites simply because upon arrival it never looks as pictured. I'm a snoot when it comes to staying at properties and/or hotels. My first concern is bathroom and kitchens! But this property was "absolutely impeccable in cleanliness,decor and comfort." The property owners, Karen and Rod Huebbeers are very warm and friendly; certainly making you feel "at home away from home." The highlight of their place were many: full kitchen (I was able to cook many home cooked meals), bathroom was roomy and spotless, the outside firepit and the outside shower (ooo lalala!) and even bikes were provided for biking (I actually peddled to the beach). Having lived in the approximate area, Lake Worth has come a long way -- lots of updating, clean and shopping close by (walking distance). If I were to rate this property on a scale of 1 - 10, I'd give it a 20! YOU WILL NOT REGRET YOUR STAY HERE!!!!
