Totally enjoyable.

This was my second stay at the apartments. The place was nice and quiet and near the city centre with good security. All the provided amenities were functional. The staff were friendly and kind. Purity was exceptional. She was always available when called upon and would always ensure that all the requests were fulfilled in a timely manner. Daniel was great and friendly too. Mercy-Phillips Apartments at Eagle Towers, Nairobi is indeed Home Away from Home. I will definitely keep coming back.

Cheap option to stay in downtown Nairobi.

The staff Purity is very kind, we arrived at 11pm and she was there for us. We stayed only two nights, the location is in the city center, we booked a free walking tour and the meet up point is just 10 minutes away. You don’t need to bring your own towel and slippers, they provide. They have all equipment like cutlery and water boilers. Shower gel or soap I recommend you to bring your own because they don’t provide. The building is in busy street and quite dusty, but you feel really safe because there are always security guards 24 hours standing there and they are generally all very friendly.

There is so much noise during the midnight, because there are windows between all rooms and corridors. Once someone check in during midnight especially some people don’t really care if there is anybody sleeping, it could be very annoying.

This is the best place I have ever stayed in Nairobi period!

The staff is super amazing. Purity is an absolute angel. She responds quickly and goes over and beyond to make your stay fabulous.

Poor and sketchy neighborhood, smelly septic all around the premise, overbooked on me!

Daniel was great communicator and very professional and friendly guy. Very understanding and considerate. He was apologetic that the property was "overbooked" but he worked diligently to accommodate me and the arrangement was fair. I liked also the sense of security in the building, and the elevator was a plus. Mosquito net was useful given mosquitoes presence there.

Overbooking situation, given a wrong bed, lower grade than what I paid for, still paid the similar amount on one night I spent wasn't that fair. Noise in the corridor wasn't fun. Overbooking situation ( although I had booked a month prior my arrival date), the location is really a slum, very dirty and impoverished neighborhood with sketchy people right in front of the building and very smelly septic smell all around the streets, so sanitation in these rubble-like streets is an issue. The building is located in "industrial" and car mechanics shops area, making it hard to see anything really tourist friendly like restaurants, coffee shops, arts shops, clothing or jewelries shops etc...Just tires, car spare parts signs and over crowded area where crossing a street to or from the building can be "FATAL". If it wasn't Daniel, I would have rated it 0.

Recomendable hotel pero tener en cuenta los exteriores

La habitacion estaba bien. Una mini cocina con todo lo necesario, Buena recepcion y comunicacion con la dueña. Todo bien.

Las afueras del hotel no es un lugar seguro, talleres de autos y gente de la calle por todo lado, no se recomienda salir de noche. Y de dia hay que salir con cuidado

Spacious for the price

Very clean and spacious.

The neighborhood is a bit though, very loud at night and many people screaming. But it has security on the first floor of the building.

The location is amazing, u walk and u are close to everything u want. The rooms are tidy and the staff is helpful, approachable and very safe place. I couldn’t find such an affordable, clean, safe and hospitable place like this apartment! My stay was amazingly amazing😍

Great room with Netflix, a desk and kitchen.

There was a little bit of confusion between the staff. I started speaking with 1 person and it changed after a couple of weeks and they didn't say the same thing. Also, the location is very noisy and far from the tourist attractions. Finally, the airport shuttle is expensive.

It was a great stay at Mercy-Philips Apartment. I was helped to check in by Purity, she is very kind and polite staff. It was my second time staying at Mercy Philips. Apartment was very clean, equipment in good working condition, there was hot water in the shower. Looking forward to stay here again on my next visit to Nairobi Kenya.

would highly recommend as a comfortable, safe self contained apartment with a great host!

danny was great and very helpful! he replied very quickly and was very knowledgeable about the area. we stayed every time we came back to nairobi we stayed here and used it as a welcome base. facilities were modern, wifi was good (a bit slow in peak times) and the beds were comfortable.

laundry was expensive and there was not a lot of light in the apartment
