Bad choice

The only plus is that you can use the pool and restaurant of chaweng cove hotel.

This is the 3rd time I have come to this hotel, but the first one after COVID. The rooms need a very big improvement, especially the bathroom. During 3 days the water literally came black, we couldn't even take a shower. We reported to the management, but it took 3 days to solve the problem. It was a problem in all the rooms, we were a group and it happened in every room. We won't come back again. It's sad, because before the hotel was a great option.

Perfect place for a few nights stay on a budget.

The location was great and it was good to have access to the facilities and breakfast at the main hotel across the road. Room was perfect, good size and comfy bed. Bathroom also good standard.

There is no lift at the property.

Great value and comfort in Chaweng Area

Great fidget option for Chaweng Beach. Located on the quieter south side of the beach across the road from Chaweng Cove Resort, it’s a quick 30 second walk to the resort where you have access to the pool, beach and restaurant. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The beds are comfortable and the AC is strong. The water pressure is a bit low in the shower but that’s not a real issue. Highly recommend staying here

great location right on the Main Street a walk from the beach. very nice that you can use the pool of the hotel across the street and great beach for swimming

the room had a weird smell of dust when we entered, had no view and the shower was a bit old and rusty

You are allowed to use the pool, car parking and access to the beach through the Chaweng Beach hotel, which is on the other side of the road from the Chaweng Budget Hotel.

The hotel doesn't have front desk, they makes you walk across the road and leave bags and everything away to do check in. The hotel don't have lift which makes you walk to the third floor carrying your bags. Also is too hard to be going out during the day going up and downstairs all the time. The price is reasonable but we could find something better for the same price.

Very good

We just spent the last 17 days here, even though you're in the budget side you still get to use all the facilities of chaweng cove across the road. Staff are so helpful and friendly especially the pool staff always jump up to get you a sun lounger or set you up on the beach. The traffic controller outside is the sweetest man ever. We rented our bike from reception as we were more comfortable leaving the passport with them and had no problems. The massage parlour across the way is one of the cheapest you will find (if you haggle) and their foot massages are incredible the women are all so friendly. We will definitely be back. Little boat and noi are great restaurants nearby you don't need to go into central samui altough it's only a 20 minute stroll.

The food in the hotel restaurant is a little over priced for what you get. Not the best food.

wouldn't recommend

This is the cheapest room we could find in this buzzing area of Samui The hotel is owned by the more expensive beachfront resort on the other side of the road and they allow Budget Hotel guests to use the pool and beach access (you literally cannot otherwise access the beach unless you are staying somewhere beachfront in this area)

The room smelled like cigarettes and smoking sas allowed as there was a supplied ashtray. Cannabis is sold everywhere on this street so the room smells of dope too The room was small.

The hotel is perfect located. Also it's good that we had all the benefits of the chaweng cove resort.

Unfortunately the cleaning was not good.

Good Value for money

Tidy rooms. Comfy beds. You have access to reports pool opposite so very good facilities.

Not near any restaurants, might have to taxi or walk 15/20 mins to get somewhere.

Great for the budget Traveller

Location to the airport was great for a 7am flight & at the same time had easy access to the beach & pool across the road with their sister resort & all its facilities. Staff were very helpful & great to deal with as only the Thais can do.

Great stay.

Clean and comfortable room with a very cozy bed. Can access to the private beach from the resort opposite. Nice swimming pool. Little but good choice of TV channels.

Wi-fi was not good at all. No staff at reception and had to walk to the Resort opposite the street. Closing time of swimming pool could have been a bit later rather than 8:00 p.m.

Disappointing

Good location and quiet location

A lot of problems in the room. First, they wanted to give me a room with almost no daylight. Then in the new room, the internet was not working, the toilet flush was not working, and the safe was not working. They fixed it, but they should check those things before the guest arrives!

It's a great advantage to use the facilities at the 'big hotel" Chaweng Cove Resort which were fantastic.

The Budget hotel is really what it is I suppose! Not very clean in the room and shower area, the air conditioning was very loud.

Superb

The lady on the desk (her name badge said 'Trainee') was lovely. Incredibly helpful and remembered me when I returned from being away. Very close to the beach, breakfast was included and was wider in choice than I expected. Lots of tv channels though excellent wifi meant I watched Netflix instead. I'm not sure if it had a bar at sister hotel Chaweng Cove but seems likely. Booked twice this trip and would book again if I came back.

Superb

Very clean, smashing location and surprisingly quiet. Breakfast and pool is at sister hotel across the road which has an incredible sea view. Staff are very polite and helpful. They very helpfully check the room before you leave to make sure you've not left anything.

Great stay

Great location, large clean rooms linen and towels changed daily.. We had a view of the mountains no road noise. The restaurant overlooks Chewang Beach perfect to sit and enjoy with a cold beer from the resort bar. Highly recommend.
