Great location/ not great value for the price

The location was excellent. The lobby/ hotel lounge and bar area were very aesthetically pleasing. The bathroom and shower in our room was super nice.

The beds were stiff, the pillows were flat and uncomfortable. There was no room in the fridge for our food/drinks we brought because it was taken up with stuff from the bar. Only one very small waste basket in the room. The room rates seemed high based on value.

Yay, location. Boo, nightclub.

I had to listen to EDM bass emanating from the night club until 4 am. It shook my bed. I got bad sleep as a result for several of the nights.

Very fun.

Great location fun! Saturday night I requested a quiet room. It was away from the elevator but could hear the slightest club sounds. But let face it I was in NYC! Love it. Not too loud. I appreciate being put in non club side. Great time! Thank you

Dream? More like a nightmare! 😅

Great location. Every single person who works at this hotel is kind, professional, and good at their jobs. Really loved the staff!

Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Really disappointed in the bed and pillow quality to be honest… it looks good but it just felt old and uncomfortable. I could feel the springs. Pillows were basic and old. Not what I expected but also wasn’t a complete nightmare. Just not what you would get at most hotels for the price. The hotel is very loud. I was told upon check-in and decided to stay in the room since we were a few floors down from the rooftop club. However, the bass reverberates through the entire hotel. We managed, but I was surprised about how loud it was. Honestly do not recommend anyone to stay here unless they are trying to party. Most people probably would hate the bass. Earplugs don’t help, you need noise canceling headphones and white noise. The vibe of the club was also not for me. The crowd was annoying lol…. You know the type.

The stay was good except for the refund as reported above which I have yet to get a reply.

The staff was friendly and helpful.

I pre-paid for the 3-nights as per my booking. However I was not informed that they will charge USD150 per night (total 3-nights @ USD450). The charged my VISA debit card USD450 and when I checked out they said they amount will be refunded, credited to my card within 3- 6 days. I has been over a week now and I have not received my refund. I emailed all the emails that i have including booking.com but to date I have not received a reply and the status of the refund. Please assist me with this matter as it is a serious breach of customer's payments.

I come to town twice a year for work and always choose to stay at Dream.

Location is ideal across the street from Chelsea Market. I love the decor. Great cocktails in the lobby. Very helpful and kind staff.

The location was great and the entrance and bar was nice.

The beds were not very comfortable, which was surprising based on the Hyatt affiliation in the price.

Spacious room, large closet. Easy to connect TV to streaming services.

Slow elevators, unpleasant smell in bathroom, no in room coffee machine, on and off buttons to lighting were difficult

What a brilliant base for our NYC trip!

The location was brilliant and the hotel had everything we needed. The roof top bar was a great place to hang out and the room we had was very roomy and the view of the Empire State Building from the window was an unexpected pleasure.

No kettle / tea making facilities but that is not a show stopper in any way 😃😃

Has the best time - recommend this hotel.

Staff were amazing and helpful. The decor was beautiful and location was perfect. Recommend renting the bikes to get around.

No coffee machine or kettle in room meaning had to spend more money on coffees in the coffee shop in the lobby on top of all the other expenses New York has would’ve been a nice touch. Coffee was lovely from the coffee shop though!!

The room was tiny only can fit 1 person. it's so easy to hear other people talking in the hallway its not sound proof. on top of my head, there was a club that from Thurs-Sat they are open until 4 am which made it impossible to sleep. when house cleaners clean the rooms you can hear it and it is impossible to sleep with the vacuum noises. Overall it's a very very very basic hotel I would pay max $50 per night for this hotel. Terrible.

Motel 6 with a fake gucci belt.

Good location

Everything, the lobby is fake-nice and the rooms are falling apart and nasty. The lights barely work in the rooms, the outlets don’t all work, and the rooms are missing simple things like water and a trash can.

Only come here if you want to go clubbing

Should come with a warning label that this is a club/party hotel. We had loud bass pumping into our hotel room until at least 2 am from the rooftop club.

Only stay here if you’re going to the in-house nightclub.

The location was great. The rooms and view from the 11th floor were great.

The hours for pool use were extremely restricted for hotel guests. The rooftop was inaccessible to us as a family. In our room on the 11th floor, the noise from the nightclub above was unbearably loud all night- and we wore earplugs. Once the loud, base driven music died down at 5am, furniture was moved around until 6.30-7 am. We had a sign in the room and a mysterious dead dial referring to noise cancelling function but that was a promise that wasn’t delivered- the technician never made it to the room and reception didn’t pursue it. It was not ok that we were not given advanced notice of the extent to which the noise could be heard on that floor. We should have been offered another room- I had booked months ahead and had asked to be on the same floor as our kids. They were on the 4th floor we were on the 11th. There was only one elevator in service. The second was broken and the third reserved for the club. In general, it felt like hotel guests were a necessary inconvenience to pay the rent while the focus was on the club-goers who brought in cash revenues. Too bad- it was too expensive for just a good location.

Good and bad, depends on what you are looking for

The room was fine, if anything the beds were a little small for 2 people (Queen Size). The shower & bathroom were great and generally the room was kept in good order. Location was good and worked for us.

The fridge in the room could have been better, unable to remove mini bar product to chill what we wanted (not practical). Possibly not that family friendly in terms of vibe, no real concierge available to assist Customer service on arrival was V.Poor - room not ready at 15.00 and only ready at 17.00, no real explanation offered on why other than we are fully booked and busy. No offer of a drink, sit and relax on us whilst we sort etc, no compensation offered & in the end I had to go and chase or follow up for the room as no one contacted me as I was advised would happen - not the best start to our stay!

You Cannot enter to the nightclub as is not part of the hotel and the pool from 11 to 6 they receive people from outside the hotel.. they rent the lounges chairs and you cannot eat and they cannot serve you around the pool as you did not pay for a lounge chair, but anyone that was an outsider that had pay for the chair.. they did serve them around the pool area.. how is that possible??? If we are actually getting a room there we should be a good treatment.. I was not pleased with it.

Worst experience ever.

I booked as a special treat for me & my 13 yr old son only to discovered kids are not allowed in the pool. On top of that there is a nightclub on the hotel roof so the extremely loud, heavy bass music kept us awake until 4am. I tried to complain but the staff didn’t care.

Be careful if you stay here

Nothing to like about this property.

Nightclub on top floor. We were 2 floors below. Music was playing and the base was shaking our room until 4am the first night. Paul on reception- who was very helpful. After I complained and wanted to check out he moved us to a different room 2 floors below. Base was still coming thru room- but not as bad. Slept 4 nights with my noise cancelling Bose Headphones one Hotel felt seedy, dark and a young persons hotel. Maybe

The location of the hotel was ideal for access to Chelsea Market and restaurants and the High Line.

Fun and relaxing

It was really cozy despite there being 2 clubs on site. The hotel looks really cool and futuristic. Staff were really friendly and accommodating, answered my questions and gave recommendations. The pool is fun too and a plus for summer stays

The rooms furniture was a little dated. For the hotel to be about a decade years old, I wouldn’t have expected the furniture to be chipped. Stains on the desk chair and some things were scrapped. That was the only thing that made me feel weird. Also the pool club is nice but there should be more time for strictly hotel guests to be able to enjoy it without everyone so hype and in party mode

It was overall, ok.

Location was great and central to a lot of activities. The room was clean and comfortable.

Unable to get through to the front desk and housekeeping on multiple occasions. Major confusion with card on file. Unexpected issues arising due to change in hotel software. Poor attitudes by staff.
