Went for a family vacation and had a wonderful time!

Beach access, spacious hotel room, location and pool activities for kids

Absolutely remarkable

The hotel was beautiful and well maintained. The staff was exceptional. One of the best experiences I’ve ever had. But expensive but so worth it! I hope one day I can afford to stay longer .

Disappointing

I liked how large the room was and the shower (beautiful)! Everything was decorated in a timeless manner and I loved that there was a fridge and microwave. Quickness of hotel staff to resolve concerns.

It was extremely disappointing the advertising of an ocean view - when in reality, to get an ocean view you had to extend over a railing and break your neck to the left. When I walked out and saw another building, packing garage, and construction….i was extremely disappointed. Secondly and equally important, the resort fee. There is a list of things that are available based on that fee. Outside of a tiny PLASTIC cup of champagne at check in (when the group in front of us got flutes), none of these were available for us. “Pool snacks” were apparently offered only at specific times on the pool deck which we weren’t made aware of. AND the pool was closed for weather that had passed hours prior- so we didn’t get to go or get snacks. So I feel we didn’t truly get to enjoy the reasons for our stay. Additionally, the phone in the room didn’t work, it wasn’t obvious there was an ice bucket or how to turn on the kitchenette lights. However, the hotel “engineer” was quick to resolve those. The staff outside of him (engineer) and one person at checkin, were unpleasant. The little store clerk by the doors to the beach, the server at breakfast, and person who checked us in were all….very moody/unpleasant. It didn’t affect the services provided outside of the store clerk.

Consider staying elsewhere for the value of your dollar!

Location was great. You can walk to great restaurants. The white sand beach is fabulous.

The hotel is getting run down-it needs renovation and a good deep clean. The washing machines were free which is great but they did not spin the clothes so that was a problem.

There is nothing if you get up at 2 am. They have nothing for guest.no coffee. No store to get a soda.

A little disappointed and probably will not stay here again

Location and room size

They ran out of toilet paper for a few hours, the shower drain needed snaked and was a standing pool of water, the ice maker didn’t work. The pool area was small and the staff didn’t monitor how long towels were sitting on a chair for and others were waiting for chairs, they didn’t offer beach chairs as part of their accommodations

Nice and I was happy they accomodated my check in do to our flight getting cancelled

was clean, friendly staff. Room was great, however a couple items were left on door handles of previous guests.

The music by the pool was always way to loud and was a bit pricey....i never felt fully relaxed....the hot tub was always over crowded with little kids and closed to early. Also, there was long hair all over the bathroom floor so it was obvious it had not been swept

Huge Disappointment

Beautiful beach but wasn't able to see it from my room as I was promised. Air conditioning stopped working. No water provided. Was supposed to be in room next to my family but instead was put on a different hallway. Will not recommend this hotel to anyone.

No more Hyatt Regency Clearwater for us :-(

Gentlemen helping with transfer in wheelchairs and luggage were exceptional. Room was nice size.

I requested beach view but it was not. I requested to have my daughter in law and granddaughter in room next door. Instead she was in a room on another hallway. Was told breakfast was included, it was not. Shower was not clean. Price was much higher than quoted. 650 a night was quoted. 850 a night was actual cost. So disappointing. My friend left her hearing aid behind. I called the service desk and they said the room had not been cleaned yet so they would go find it and call me back. No one called back so 7 hours later I called them. They said I'd have to call back and speak with housekeeping in the morning. Another 3500 dollars down the drain. My mother slept on a queen bed and her friend slept on the other queen bed. I opted to sleep on sofa sleeper. Sofa sleeper had springs sticking out and a big huge sunk in spot in the middle..absolutely horrible. :-(

Need a grab bar in the tub it was slippery parking was an extra charge Check in staff did not mention there was a 50 dollar beach towel charge if towel cards were not brought back Separate charge for seats on beach Felt nickel and dimed

Expensive for OK hotel

The location was close to the beach. Their restaurant was so good and we had our best fish and Pina Coladas.

Something was wrong with the architecture of the room, and the way the doors were working. Like, the bathroom has been added later to the room ... It's definitely not worth the value! TOO EXPENSIVE!

Relaxing and comfortable

Breakfast was amazing. The staff in the restaurant was wonderful.

Mary that works at the front desk was absolutely amazing! Her professionalism and kindness went above and beyond. Emily and Macy could use some work on their customer service skills. I didn't find them friendly, and they seemed bothered when asked questions.

Okay, aber zu teuer und zu wenig los.

Die Zimmer waren sauber , bis auf den Teppich, der war sehr verschmutzt. Der Pool ist okay, aber durch die hohen Gebäude ganz schnell im Schatten. Das Hotel ist nur durch eine Straße vom Meer getrennt.

Es gibt nicht viel drum rum auch nicht viele Restaurants wir würden das nächste mal ein Hotel weiter südlich buchen.

Be more honest with the fees ..no secret ones

Beautiful hotel , bed comfortable

That all the hiding fees..that when I booked it online showed one price when I got there it was 500$ higher...and we had breakfast included which I did not know ..it was supposed to cover for 4 people only did 2..which I had to cover at the end..we didn't go 3 days because of this and still got charged for this....I will never again do breakfast included again..very disappointing

staff was always pleasant, professional, and helpful.

traveling with my sister, so I slept on the pullout sofa in room 1730. there was a constant (every 10-20 minutes) what sounded like a toilet flushing noise literally all night long.. I don't believe it was a toilet, but it is constant, annoying, and makes it hard to sleep at night.

The size of the pool given how big the hotel is! Salt water and not chlorine. The hotel itself was very warm (rooms were fine). Charging guests for the car parking!

Our stay was pleasant.

The room was great and clean! We loved how housekeeping arranged our twin's stuffed animal each day on the bed in a different silly pose - they thought it was hilarious! The restaurants in the hotel serve the best food on the island!

I did not like the protocol for towels and carts. Supposedly, you are supposed to get towel cards when you check in. We did not get ours. Each day that we were there, the pool staff asked us for our towel cards, and we told them EACH TIME that they did not give them to us at check-in. They then said that they would give them to us when we turned our towels in at the end of the day and for four days straight they did not give us a towel card at the end of the day! We were beyond frustrated about this each day. For the luggage cart, we were able to use one when we arrived. However, when we went to check out, the bellman said that they did not allow people to use the carts. We would have to have a bellman pack luggage and take it to our car. This may please some, but we did not want anyone to pack our stuff up. We also wanted to move some luggage the night before and could not because no one was on duty.

Very good

-We had breakfast there and it was great! A lot of menu items to choose from and family had the buffet. -Bed was not comfortable at all! Did not have enough support. Room was next to the parking garage of other hotel and was noisy. We couldn’t even hear the ocean which I was looking forward to.

Bed comfort and room size. Also we had to be very careful at the pool. The floor was very slippery and my little one took a few falls.

Perfect location by the beach!

Amazing sunset by the beach near pier 60, where you can see dolphins and manatees! Very comfortable bed! Amazing breakfast!

The “kitchenette” was only a microwave and a small fridge, without a single plate or fork and knife. The laundry room was always occupied.
