Beautiful view.
Far too overpriced for what it is - very poor quality/price ratio. Severely understaffed. Lack of sophistication. No phone connection and hardly any working wifi. Very poorly maintained road that can only be accessed by a shuttle jeep, which makes for a very uncomfortable journey every time one wants to leave or return to the hotel.

One of the most beautiful locations I've ever been to! Beautiful setting, comfy rooms and amazing views!

The magnificent views and the silence. rooms were very nicely renovated with a modern touch. Even though this is a place were you want to be outside enjoying the views or the cristal clear water. Having dinner outside and see the sun setting over Montecristo is priceless.
All the personel were very friendly and helpful. Could not have asked for more.
It is a little adventure to get to hotel, even though Mario and the team drives the Jeep skillfully its quite a ride the last 100 or so meters down to the hotel. however the road was probably extra bumpy during our visit due to heavy rain some days before

The lighthouse is managed by a very nice couple, Paola and Mario who did the impossible to make us at ease.
The restaurant offers fresh sofisticated food in front of breath-taking sunset.
Wi-Fi it's OK for leisure but it doesn't support smart working if this is your intention

Beautiful place in the "middle of nowhere" surrounded by nature and the super clean turquoise water. A must experience for adventure lovers! Perfect if you want to be far away from all daily stress.
First class food for lunch and dinner (order the "tortino al cioccolato bianco"...best dessert in the world!)
Dedicated and passionate owner and extremely polite staff. The owner really made an effort to make up for the various problems and provided top treatment. Really praiseworthy.
Excellent rooms, spacious, well decorated and very clean
The suitcases are transported down to the hotel with a mashine by the owner/ helpers
We arrived with our car to the hill where the Meeting point was (the car needs to be stopped there and further driving is not possible) after 5 hours trip...we were very k.o.... the owner told us we couldn't check-in the hotel cause of a lightning that struck the lighthouse some days before. The whole premise was without electricity. Earlier that day, the owner tried calling us (once) to let us know, but we couldn't pick up. No further tries were made on his side, and he did not return our calls.
We were hoping the electricians would be able to fix it during the day: at first it looked like we would have to spend the night in another hotel (which they had reserved already), but in the end they took us to the hotel anyways - still without electricity - so the first night we had no lights, TV, wifi...as well as no restaurant service.
Due to the electrical problems, the lighthouse was sadly not functioning aswell, and remained so throughout our stay.
Because of the aforementioned issues, however, the owner gave us an upgrade for the room so we stayed in a Suite. That was a really nice gesture for sure!
The most shocking and unexpected thing for us, however, was the 8-minutes car trip from the meeting point to the resort, on a non paved road with many bumps and slopes, aboard the hotel's jeep. Definitely not for the faint of heart!(not for easily scared people)
THIS SHOULD BE POINTED OUT MORE CLEARLY ON BOOKING.COM!
This is THE ONLY WAY to reach the hotel, other than a 45 minutes walk through the vegetation on a narrow path, definitely not suitable for suitcases.
After the car trip, you have to walk down 200m of very steep gravel path, also not clear in the description. If you are older, out of shape or have leg problems, this is rather IMPOSSIBLE...we even had to walk it twice in the DARK with flashlights. Very dangerous. And walking up of course is not so easy aswell.
Payment with cards (credit, ec...) is not possible at time of writing.
