Lovely relaxing stay

- Fresh drinking water dispenser (frequently topped up) - Free coffee - Free shuttles passes to transport us to and from the centre of Santa Maria - Shops close by - Beautiful, clean house - Peter was a brilliant host, he went above and beyond to ensure our stay was comfortable and enjoyable. He provided comprehensive information on things to do on the Island and was always on hand if we needed anything. Definitely recommend

Jederzeit wieder!

Es war einfach alles perfekt. Wir wollten hier gar nicht mehr weg. Sehr schöne und extrem saubere Unterkunft. Wir haben uns hier rundum wohl gefühlt. Der Besitzer Peter ist sehr sehr nett und war immer mit Rat und Tat zur Seite. Danke 🫶🏼

Lovely stay in a beautiful place

A lovely, comfortable place at an amazing location. The property is very close to the one of the nicest beaches on the island and a supermarket; also equipped with all the tools in the kitchen. Most importantly, you couldn’t wish for a better host! Peter was super friendly and welcoming from the moment we arrived, and went above and beyond to make sure we had a comfortable and very enjoyable stay.

Great place!

Great place located in Vila Verde resort, very close to the beach and close to main town in south, Santa Maria, with free shuttle couple of times a day. free coffee, comfortable rooms, friendly owner :)

Very good

The guesthouse is really nice and quiet, located a bit outside the center of Santa María in a very quiet residential complex. It offers the perks of a big resort, such as a private beach (Bikini beach) and free beach chairs, at a reasonable price. The beach is very nice to swim, with no big waves, and has several beach bars. I would recommend this place to anyone who really wants to rest, as the only thing one hears back there are the crickets! There are shuttle buses for free several times a day to Santa Maria and Ponta Petra, also a very nice beach, with more waves. The checkout is very flexible, so that you can enjoy to the maximum your last day there, have access to the house and leave your luggage there for as long as you need.

Apart from the beach bars in Bikini beach and a restaurant that opened recently in Vila Verde, there are not many options to eat, but the shuttle buses to Santa Maria depart at convenient hours to have lunch/dinner in Santa Maria center. There was a small problem with the AC, so it did not work during my stay, but Peter provided a fan that did the trick (and by the end of my stay I did not even used the fan :) )

Exceptional

The guesthouse is very clean and comfortable. We were lucky enough to be alone, so we could use all space for two people. Peter is very helpful and informative.The apartment is in remote area which was comfortable for us. It has terrace and kind of patio. The kitchen and salon is very well equipped. You will find all staff if you need to prepare dinner or breakfast. There is tv with Netflix and many dvd films on demand Few hundred metres you will find the swimming pool. The shuttle bus stops nearby. Supermarket is within walking distance. The nearest beach is 10-15 minutes walk. Ponta Preta beach which is really nice and tranquil is about 20 minutes walk.

The complex of Villa Verde where Guesthouse is located looks abandoned and a bit deteriorated. If you would like to be a part of Santa Maria lively atmosphere you have shuttle bus which is not too frequent or you have to walk 30 minutes which is ok when it is not too hot. Of course you can take overpriced taxi too. We like walking but for some people would be inconvenient.as it is along the main road. In the complex there is only one supermarket, not a big choice of other possibilities.

Much better than expected, amazing host, amazing location, amazing services

20 out of 10 points for the host :D Peter gave us a warm welcome and gave us all the information we needed in order to have a great stay. He was reachable all the time and was there when we had questions. The kitchen has everything you need to cook(it even had more equipment than what I have at home in my own kitchen e.g. orange juice maker). The accommodation also offers free water which is drinkable and a lot of towels, soap, a hairdryer and even a welcome bottle of wine. Room is very clean and has mosquito protection on the balconies. On the top of the accommodation you can find a beautiful terrace to relax and hang your clothes after washing them (washing machine available in the accommodation). Peter sent us so many suggestions and names of people that offer activities, everyone will find something they like. The accommodation is located in villa verde which is almost like a small village for itself with its own supermarket which is open until 8pm. Transportation to the city is free. Bikini beach is super close and beautiful. Also u get 15% off at Bo Beach Bar.

Highly recomended

We had a great stay and our nice host Peter takes good care of the guests, just a phonecall away if anything needed👍. The pictures when browsing the website are matching the real stuff. What you see is what you get, and this is not always the case when owners depict the actual properties (my own experince). Supermarket is 10 minutes walk. Excellent WiFi all the time. Clean and good maintenance as far as living spaces, comfy beds and a really fullequiped kitchen, including waterdispenser. We specially liked the tasty coffee from the machine! Will most likely book again in the future! //Miguel and Oliver

More restaurant options in the closest vecinity would have been nice.

Great place to stay and a friendly host.

The guesthouse is very nice, cozy, clean and well equipped. Peter is a great host, takes good care of his house and it’s guests and provided me with all needed information about the island and the surroundings. I really liked the location a lot since the house is not located directly in the middle of the tourist hotspot but still very close to get everywhere easily, either by foot or with the provided shuttles, by taxi etc.

Choose this property - you wont be disappointed.

The property was beautifully clean in a nice quiet location yet within easy distance of everything that you need for a holiday. The host (Peter) could not have been more helpful and always responded to requests promptly. He was also very informative about what to do/where to go on the Island.

There was nothing i didnt like about this property and would thoroughly recommend it.

Peter is a star, an all round nice person and he contributed significantly make our stay memorable.

The breakfast was good, omlettes prepared to your own specification was a nice touch. choice of several fresh fruit juices, fruits, cheese ,ham and some nice breads. Ample choice.

We were up late so we had cold beans and cold fried eggs a couple of days, i think they could improve on keeping the food warm during the breakfast service.
