In front of Anchorage I and Anchorage II, you will find a playground, memorial park, exercise trail, private walkway to the ocean, outdoor showers and private beach gazebos for our guest to enjoy. Elevators and handicap ramps are located on each side of the complex and are easily accessible. Condos feature full size washer/dryer, flat screen TVs, and high-speed internet. Ample parking is available. * Please note Anchorage II is a SMOKE FREE building (including private balconies). Renters may smoke in the designated area at the south gazebo next to the beach walkway * No motorcycles, trailers or golf carts allowed on the property Area Information: Our condos are located just minutes from Broadway at the Beach, the downtown Boardwalk and Sky Wheel, Myrtle Waves, Barefoot landing, Tanger Outlets, NASCAR Speedpark, live theater’s and shows, golf, and restaurants. Staying at the Anchorage is always just like coming home! The rooms are always so clean and comfortable, the grounds are well kept, and it's my absolute favorite vacation spot. The beautiful ocean views and easy beach access is simply perfect. Carson helped me with check ins and reservations and was so kind and helpful. This past visit was my first beach vacation with my new husband (we got married about a year ago) and we both had a terrific time. I grew up staying at the Anchorage I/II every year since I was a baby and it's the home of some of my favorite memories. Thank you for always making it so special every time!!

While we had no issues that stopped us in our tracks of enjoying the stay, we were disappointed that the unit itself had not changed much/been improved since our stay in 2016. We noted 2 maintenance issues and that was looked into right away, although couldn't be fixed at that time. Total KUDOS to Lisa and Karin though for working with us to book our next visit!

As this was our first experience with Anchorage, we loved the location and comfortable suite, as we could sip our coffee from the patio and see the ocean.The villa was clean and well equipped, even supplying 2 beach chairs. Very convenient to have full size washer and dryer to use. Very family friendly.

We rented 5 condos. Management was able to accommodate us, so that our condos were next door to each other. Perfect! Condos were clean and well appointed!We had an excellent stay, and the weather was perfect! I am giving you credit for that, too! 😂

Excellent communication with manager!
We had an issue with the microwave in the condo. The property manager was quick to respond and very promptly sent someone out to resolve the issue. The property was perfect for our family trip and we will definitely stay there again! Thank you for a great experience!

Call the property manager to tell them we had a terrible experience with the upstairs condo above us , a 3 year old that ran across the floor early morning and evenings ! We where out most of the days! My husband ask the wife kindly if she could keep the running down to a minimum! But that creates the husband coming out to threaten a guess who he mistook as my husband! The running got worse as the week got on, we left and came home two days early! Never again at the Anchor 2 the manager did not one thing other than sorry! Sign by the elevator clearly be responsible to the floors underneath you!

Overall Very Nice Property

The property is very in need of an update. The most annoying thing and the cheapest was the "one toilet paper per bathroom, one garbage bag and one roll of paper towels. Its an annoyance to have to go and buy these items since every other rental supplies them. The throw pillows on the couch were so old they were flay and smelled of dirty heads. I would not come here again.

Unit 212 was pretty nice. The walk to the beach was short, no longer than a hotel on the beach's walk. The beach was very nice, plenty of room, the private entrance with rinse off station is very convenient Grounds were kept up with and the pool was clean. Could use some upgrades, furniture starting to show its age, but still our stay was awesome

The property is old and worn out. It needs a refresh. People were in the pool until midnight

This was a really nice property for the price we paid! The beach was a quick walk across the street (and it was rarely busy even on Memorial Day weekend), the pool was clean and usually quiet, and it was a quick drive to everywhere in Myrtle beach! The only complaint we had was we wish it could have been a little more cleanly upon our arrival. A few of the dishes seemed like they hadn’t been washed and the guest bathtub was quite dirty. Aside from this, which was pretty insignificant in the grand scheme of things, this was a great place to stay!

It was a decent place to stay, close to the beach and not crowded. Was looking for a safe place during covid with not a lot of traffics. Three flights of stairs was empty pretty much all the time. Didn’t take the elevator. The place was comfy and spacious for the 6 of us. Beware, loft upstairs has no wall or bathroom. Not ideal for adults but good for kids. It worked for us!

We stayed at Anchorage II which was right across the beach. The apartment was impeccable. It was clean beyond I had imagined. Towels, linens all very clean. The owner had everything in the house from small utensils to grinders, hot pots, oven accessories, and everything you could possibly need. My toddler was thrilled about beach toys, beach umbrella (so thoughtful of the owner), books and puzzles that they left us. Parking was easy. Owner was easy to get in touch with. We literally booked the night before traveling. Check in was easy. Great location. Private beach access for guests only!! So social distancing was very doable. Overall great experience and would recommend to a friend!

Lovely property close to beach
We stayed at the end of June, was very easy to find the property using the directions provided, there were also lots of parking spaces. The property was very clean and was just a short walk to the beach where we spent most of our time. We really enjoyed our stay and would recommend this to anyone looking for a beachfront vacation. We will definitely return!

Very Convenient Location
The condo location was very convenient to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, attractions, and outlets. With two bedrooms and two bathrooms, it was a great size for four adults. It was clean, and the management company answered our questions about the lock on the door right away. We were disappointed that the beautiful outdoor pool was closed the entire week due to COVID-19 restrictions, but I guess it was opening after we left. Also, the furniture and accessories in the condo need to be updated, but that didn’t keep us from having a wonderful vacation. We would recommend the place!

Extremely Clean, Ample Parking, Great View
This was my first experience with a VRBO. The description & pictures were spot on. Appreciated having a lock with code on door to have all of us come & go without need for a physical key. Upon arrival the condo was EXTREMELY clean. Traveling with teenagers it was a perfect layout inside condo with separation of bedrooms & bathrooms. The view and sound of ocean while sitting on the deck was amazing! The blessing the that description did not mention is the condo building is not setup hotel style but instead the exit door of condo goes “outside“ in a hallway versus like in hotel “inside” hallway to elevator and then outside. So you can leave & get to your vehicle outside, versus being inside a building. Convenient location to many activities and of course the beach. Only negative is pool was “closed” during our visit which temps were not in favor of actually using pool but think it might be worth mentioning under description. I would recommend this place to all that want a quiet, clean and away from all downtown traffic & action.
