Nestled in Palermo, this charming condo for $148 per night is a fantastic choice for your next break. The apartment (120 sqm), quiet, friendly, complete with all comforts, air conditioned, wifi. Comfortable for 5 persons may, on request, be integrated with an extra bed. The full kitchen with all accessories, fires, electric oven, microwave, kettle and everything you need, includes an extending table for 6 people. Washing machine full of laundry. Equipped with ironing board, iron with large window with clotheshorse. The kitchen leads to a corridor that gives access to the bathroom and two bedrooms. The bathroom has a sink, toilet, bidet and large shower with sliding glass, complete with towels, hair dryer. The first bedroom (16 sqm) with one double bed, bedside tables, chest of drawers and large wardrobe, equipped with TV and two chairs. The second bedroom (20 sqm) is equipped with a double bed, a single bed, dresser, large closet, TV and two chairs, allows, on request, the inclusion of an extra bed. The house is comfortable for couples, groups of friends and families with children. The apartment is located in an area that has easy and immediate access to the historic center of Palermo. It is located at 100/150 mt. from Palermo Central Station and the terminus of the main bus lines connecting the city with airport and surrounding villages. Just 200 meters there is one of the most popular outdoor market, Ballarò. 10/15 minute walk you can easily reach all the cultural attractions, architectural and historical sights. Nearby you will find the famous Botanical Gardens, the Magione church, the Kalsa district, the famous Walls of the Ugly (old town walls), the tourist port of Cala, restaurants, pizzerias, ATMs, supermarkets, bakeries, pharmacies and everything that may be needed

Like staying with friends

We really enjoyed our first visit to Palermo; Roberto and Cinzia made their home as welcoming and warm as staying with friends who are the perfect hosts. A short walk from the train station, after me & my sister were able to find the right way to the VRBO (Roberto left very good directions, I just didn't follow them well!) We were greeted and shown all the amenities their apt offered - the bedrooms and bathroom are roomy and clean, the kitchen was stocked for snacks and breakfast (drinks, fruits, cookies, pastries, coffee, tea, etc) and they showed us how to use the appliances; sort/recycle the trash and provided a map of sites to see (and how to navigate around the area), and places to eat, along with some history of these places. They are located within walking distance (within 30 min) of all these historical sites (Teatro Massimo, Cathedral of Palermo, Ballaro Market, the waterfront). The outside street is typical of most big cities, doesn't look that inviting - but once you get used to walking around the area (and crossing the street with confidence), it feels safe. Roberto was also kind enough to take us to the airport at night (we had a very late flight back to Florence) instead of having us take a taxi. If we ever visit Palermo in the future, we would definitely stay with Roberto and Cinzia again.

Whatever is intended to be meant by a super host, this couple are a super super host. Every eventuality was thought of, the attention to detail and customer care was impeccable. This couple really cared that we were happy in their place. Impeccable. Good property, two spacious bedrooms, large clean bathroom and kitchen with every amenity.
