Had no iron in the room, I didn't like that. Also, it was an older building, and the pictures misrepresented the appearance of the place. I could see where they painted over imperfections. The room appeared clean, but it felt different, if that make sense!

Very friendly staff and the room was perfect.
Nothing I didn’t like, everything went very smooth from the time of check in to checking out.

Managers were friendly and helpful. Room was super clean! Liked the flooring...no rugs!Surprisingly quiet. Heating & cooling worked well. We used the refrigerator and microwave regularly over our five night stay; both worked well.
One dresser drawer handle was detached from drawer. Room was missing reading lights on nightstands. The soap and shampoo provided were poor quality; neither lathered well.

Room was pretty nice for the price
cold water in the sink was not working, you can hear the traffic and any other noises, mattress was ok but not the pillows. Reception staff (that looks like they are the owners aswell) was so unprofessional, they gave us wrong information and a horrible service: we wanted to do late check out and they said it was not possible, that in case we want to stay after 11 am we had to pay for another night, we said that is ok, then we got a call from reception to go pay or leave in max 30’. I was really upset so go to reception and on the end the same guy last night said late check out was not possible turn into we can pay 30$ xtra for 2 hours. We travel nights for our jobs and we pick hotels on the way to rest and be able to have a good sleep. This was a really bad choice we would never do again.

It was conveniently located for food and the places we needed to go for business.
No bathtub to soak in after driving for 9+ hours, just a shower. And there were only 2 bath towels. My sister and I were sharing expenses and we both have very long hair and had to struggle to dry our hair.

This is a motel that has been thoroughly refurbished. It is rare to get clean, quiet accommodations at this price today, and so is definitely an option for those traveling on a budget - or those who just need a pit stop. Don't expect any frills, but you will get the essentials: clean room, newer mattress, decent shower head, sufficient power outlets, good in-room coffee for the AM. Even a sitting area in the room.
The location is good in that it is near the freeway but not right on it, and open-faces the streets so that it can be well-policed. That said, it is not the best neighborhood and the rates do attract a certain clientele. As the name of the hotel suggests, it is an ideal place for folks in transition or in need of an extended stay. That's all fine and good, but we did a tense moment with one individual - who may or may not have even been a guest at the hotel. Returning from supper, we pulled up into the motel and were about to exit our vehicle when a young man started angrily yelling at us. We couldn't hear him, but I decided not to engage him due to his threatening body language. I chose to ignore him and just checked messages and surfed on my phone until he finally went away.
Could happen anywhere, I know. But I think the odds of this kind of thing go up given the neighborhood. So be aware - like one should always be in a US city these days!
