Located in Dauphin Island, this lovely house for $151 per night is a fantastic option for your next break. A Dauphin Island house nestled in the trees with large sand dunes between the house and the Gulf of Mexico. This is a quiet street on the west end of the Island near the public beach. It has 2 Bedrooms: #1 with a king size bed and #2 with two twin beds. One bath with a large garden tub and a separate shower. TV's and DVD's are in each bedroom and living room. A full Kitchen,with granite counter tops, separate dining area, and a living room. Sliding glass doors open to a large balcony with room for grilling or dining. This is the second time we've stayed at this property. It's an older home nestled among tall trees, and close enough to the public beach for very easy access. The home is well-supplied and the beds are very comfortable. It's dog-friendly. And the owner is always very kind and responsive. Although the house appeared to be clean there was a musty smell, especially in the bathroom. Perhaps a deep clean is in order?

My husband and I have been staying in this little home for decades on our visits. Its perfectly located right in the middle of the island a short walk to the public beach. The location is soo quiet and peaceful. The home is stocked well and very clean. The host is precious... we feel its our home away from home each fall.. Our dogs made their 3rd trip to this house with us.. and they are home away from home too.. Excited to return next fall.

We enjoyed our stay in the house. It is an older home, but everything I used worked fine. It just needs cosmetic and furniture updates. The backyard was nice to use for our dog especially since the other house was vacant for our week. The fence is down in a few spots though. It is a short walk to the public beach (3/4 mile to water) and a block from the bike path. Overall the house was quiet and comfortable for my son, dog and I.

The property was described. Beautiful house. Just right for the two of us and our small dog. Everything needed was available in house. Very comfortable. If any future visits we know to bring groceries with us as very expensive in the local shops. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

This sweet little house is so home like, very well stocked with anything you might need and have forgotten to bring. Quite, nested in a beautiful lush green blanket of trees and plants, there is no end to the charm. Our time here was well spent. A short drive to anyting you would wish, or a brisk walk to the beach. I hightly recomend this location for anyone wanting a quite get away, or anyone with chidren. Cute twin bedroom set up was perfect set up for my son. Thank you so much, we are already taking about a return trip next year.

The property was perfect, had everything we needed and then some. We just were not aware/prepared that there was not really a grocery store there on the island. What they had was super pricey and not a lot of option. Overall would stay there again, just be a bit more prepared.

This is a great property for two couples, kitchen had everything and even a dining table on the deck. Seafood market, grocery store, and beach a short walk. Joy was easy to deal with when we had questions.

The house is in a great location. Close to 2 restaurants & beaches. The house was very accommodating. The bed slept wonderful, and the porch swing was great place to relax. I would definitely stay there again.

Convenient location on the island .Large fenced in yard but there is another house in the fenced in area and they had dogs also. We spent a lot of time on the large covered porch .The house was spacious. They kitchen was well stocked with dishes and cookware. We contacted our host about the wifi password and she replied back quickly.

The property was as pictured as online,We stayed there four nights the twin beds in the second room could use their mattress replaced.The place could use a few updates but other than that it was ok for our stay.

Clean and comfortable property. Great patio for bird watching and lounging. Be aware that there is a separate rental property in the backyard. We were planning to let our small dog use the fenced in yard, but the other people staying there had a large dog, so we were unable to do so.

Lovely older property surrounded by trees and within walking distance of a large (and not very populated) public beach. Everything we needed was provided (but bring your own cooking oil if you plan to use the kitchen). Comfortable and dog friendly!

The property and price point were perfect. Central location, short walk to the beach and it is pet friendly. We cooked Thanksgiving dinner and walked on the beach. I would recommend this property for families looking for clean, simple, and cozy. This was perfect for our adventure.

Older property. Plenty of room for the dogs to do their business in the fenced in back yard. We only stayed at this property for 1 out of 3 nights because the air went out. Joy and her son Tony took care of us by having us go to another property of theirs on the island which was an incredible home on the water with a pool. Thank you for making it right!
