Lake Shore Park is 2 blocks up the street and includes a 1-mile walking trail, boat launch with a sand beach and gazebo overlooking the lake. We also have 2 kayaks,2 bicycles, a canoe, fire ring, laundry and a 52-inch television. Everything you will ever need, plus! The security of being in town with all the privacy of your own place and everything is included...no additional amenity charges!

Highly recommended. What a restful trip we had! The hot tub fit two people perfectly. Temperature was great. Lake view was beautiful. We even braved the cold and made s’mores using the fire pit outside. The bathroom has heated floors which was a fun luxury. Couch was super comfy. Communication with the home owner was super easy.

Regrettably we were only able to stay one night. There were so many things to enjoy. A beautiful walking path by the lake, bike trails (not paved/may want a gravel bike, although the property has bikes to use), kayaking and canoeing(available on the property), hot tub and fire pit to enjoy the lake and the stars. On top.of all that, the host was very friendly and accommodating. I would highly recommend this property.

Enjoyed this cute lake cottage for the weekend! The house was very clean and stocked with all amenities. Really enjoyed the screened-in porch and hot tub!

The location of the house was perfect! Small quite town and right on the lake!! We loved that the property had kayaks for guests to use and a hot tub! We took advantage of both and used the small fire pit every night! We were able to swim right off the dock, but we also took advantage of the small public beach on other side of the lake with the water volleyball court and our kids loved that! The house is small - but has everything you need.

We wanted a weekend on the water. The house was clean and everything worked. We were on the lake for hours each day using the optional floating devices. The hot tub was nice. We stayed up outside on the small dock to watch the meteor shower. Beautiful location.

We had a wondeful time in this cozy, little house on the lake. Easy to get to, kayaks, canoe, bikes and gas grill available to us. Screened in porch was great for all our meals and beautiful view of the lake.

We loved our time in Nashua. The place was clean and well maintained & decorated. We especially enjoyed the hot tub and screened in porch. A morning kayak adventure was also very peaceful and enjoyable! Highly recommend staying here!

Hot tub was filthy wasn’t able to use, food left in the oven that was rotten, some of the pillow cases had stains on them, overall very nice place, just a few things that were overlooked that should have been taken care of before our arrival!

Relaxing stay on the Cedar Lake in Nashua. Ducks out in the lake every morning were entertaining. The hot tub was nice and the house was clean. Plenty of room for our family. Lots of games to play and the decor was very cute. Will definitely be back!

My husband, myself, and our son ( age 17), rented this home for Spring break. We were pleasantly surprised by how well equipped this home is and by the cleanliness of the property. We have rented through VRBO many times, and this was on our top five of properties we have stayed in. This home is well equipped with everything you need to cook meals. We used the grill and cooked most of our meals. While the weather wasn’t what we had hoped for, we still enjoyed time together and made use of the books and games that were supplied. If you’re looking for relaxation, this is the place! If you’re looking to be entertained, there’s not much to do in Nashua, but there is a movie theater and a bowling alley in the nearby town of Charles City. We enjoyed a meal at The Pub on the Cedar. We hope to be back in the summer when we can make use of the canoe and kayaks provided in the garage. There is plenty of space to sleep multiple people, and the screened in porch was wonderful. We enjoyed watching the bald eagles and the wood ducks on the water.

This lake house has everything you need plus more! We went during the winter for a little birthday celebration and reality getaway, and this place did not disappoint. The hot tub and heated floors in the bathroom were an added bonus! The owner mentioned in the description that they do a lot of cooking so we brought all our meals, and we had every pan or utensil we could ask for. The place would be a lot of fun during the summer. Thank you for a great night stay!

We were looking for a spot with a hot tub to just get away for a weekend in the winter. This was just perfect! The view was fantastic and very cozy. My partner and I love to cook and the kitchen was stocked with all of the equipment we needed to make a few nice meals. Everything was very clean and organized! We will be back for sure!

Beautiful spot, I loved the screen house, and can't wait to come back in the spring when it is not raining and the wind isn't blowing. (By the way, we caught fish, even in the rain and wind...the bank is a wonderful spot to fish)
