Overall good stay. Stayed with myself and a friend. Only complaint balcony door didnt open in living room and had to go through bedroom to get on balcony. No screen to keep slider open if ac is on. After checking out got call there was damage to a door we had no idea about. It put a damper on the overall experience. We are 2 women who would not kick door down. We lost power for 3 hours one evening . Had no phone number to call only an email. It was a nieghborhood outage but would be nice to have a number to dial in this case. We did overall enjoy the experience.

My family of 4 stayed in this unit for a 5 night get away. This was our first time in Ft Walton. The ocean isn’t quite the same green as Destin but it’s still spectacular. The condo building is older but still solid. The room itself had everything we needed. Although listed as a penthouse it was just a regular room on the top floor. The balconies were the best part. I will add if you have younger children it would be tough to keep them secure as there are no locks aside from digital ones on the door. Also, the master bathroom could use a nicer shower head and a lock on that door as well.
Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would certainly stay again. Property management was helpful and responsive.

Booking, check in, and check out were super fast and easy. Legacy staff was available to answer questions prior to our arrival. Location was close to everything and made grocery store runs and dinners out easy! Beach service was convenient and the pool was great for afternoon breaks from the waves!

Overall, we had a great experience at Pelican Isle. There were a few things that we could get picky about like dirty fingerprints along the edges of the doors, and a slow draining master bathtub, which upon further inspection, was due to sand clogging the drain. Both of these are easy fixes, and should be the responsibility of the cleaning company. Also, there isn’t easy access to the beach, if you are pulling a wagon or something else that is rolling. Both of the beach access points have multiple sets of stairs. It wasn’t a big deal for us, but it might be worth mentioning in the listing. The beds were incredibly comfortable, the view was amazing, and everything was so spacious. We would definitely recommend this to anyone who asked.

I contacted the property about these problems and was never contacted back. The best part of this unit was the size of the balcony.

We had a great time. The condo was clean and had almost everything we could have needed. Extra pillows would have made it perfect. The size was great for our family of 4 and the location is fantastic... so close to everything, yet quiet and peaceful and out of the higher traffic areas.

People stood where they thought umbrellas would go even before the umbrellas were out! The condo was clean and it was nice having two king beds in the same unit.

Nice place
We really enjoyed this condo. It is clean and has fabulous views. We’ve stayed in several different units in Pelican Isle and this is my favorite one. It’s very reasonably priced. The interior could definitely use some updating but to me, that is not a big deal because I’m there to hang at the beach and don’t spend a lot of time in the condo. My only other suggestion would be to get new beds as both king beds were saggy.

Great location but lacking in service.
As the title stated, the location was great. The room had an excellent view and the rooms were spacious and slept everyone well. However, the appliances didn’t work well. The dishwasher handle was broken and required an engineering degree to open. The dryer wouldn’t dry our clothes and the oven wouldn’t get hot enough to cook food. Didn’t have any communication other than the “hoping you’re having a great visit and let me know if you need anything” email that went unanswered. The dishes in the cabinets were dirty and rusted but we were told that all dishes had to be cleaned before checkout. WiFi worked great and Cox cable is trash so bring a Roku or Firestick if you have the option. Still waiting to see my deposit returned.
