Located in Seaside, this charming cottage for $1,332 per night is a great option for your next trip. What’s there to love about Emma Lou? * Seaside amenities included (beach access, 3 communal pools, fitness center, & parking) * 3 bedrooms (1 king master suite, 1 queen, 2 sets of bunk beds) + a queen sleeper sofa to comfortably sleep 10 people! * 2.5 bathrooms * 3 min walk to the beach (0.1 mile) * 6 min walk to Seaside Square (0.3 mile) Located in Seaside, the Emma Lou sits on a cobblestoned street lined with palm trees that is a 3-minute walk from the white sandy beach! Seaside amenities are included with your stay! You have access to the beach, fitness center, 3 communal pools (the largest pool is 3 houses down from Emma Lou), and 2 parking spots right outside the house. The purple door, sea green façade, and white wrap-around porch, will greet you upon entry. Downstairs, you’ll find three spacious bedrooms for up to 8 guests. The master features a king bed along with its own bathroom. The next two rooms share a full bathroom. One room has a queen bed, while the other has two sets of bunk beds to sleep four! Head upstairs to find a living room and kitchen for you and your group to enjoy each others’ company. The second floor has a large TV, comfy sectional couch (that also functions as a queen sleeper sofa that sleeps 2), a half bath, farmhouse table that seats 10 and a kitchen that comes complete with everything you need for cooking and baking. When the weather is nice, open the french doors and step outside onto the upper-level porch to enjoy the view and sea breeze. You can eat meals and drink coffee at the outdoor dining and seating areas. On the lower-level porch, you can hang out on the swing sofa with your favorite book. The Emma Lou is located in the heart of Seaside, just blocks from several shops and eateries. A few places we love and recommend: * Black Bear – for coffee and pastries * Bud and Alley’s – for delicious seafood and 360 views of the beach and Seaside Square * Food trucks in the heart of Seaside – for when the group has different cravings * Marie Leoni Gifts & Jewelry – for unique souvenirs and jewelry If you need groceries, there’s the gourmet Modica Market (0.4 mile away) or the Publix grocery store (7-minute drive)! Please be aware it’s not uncommon for the Wi-Fi to be slow and weak at times. This is the nature of the Seaside area. The Emma Lou is a great home in Seaside.
Larger families/groups may find it a little tight due to the smaller bedrooms and smaller two full baths. There is a half bath on the 2nd floor.
However, after acclimating, we were able to make our group of eight comfortable.
The host was very responsive and accommodating. The location is only a few minutes from the beach or downtown Seaside and the pool is within walking distance.
We highly recommend the EmmaLou!

This house is in a prime location. 2 (short) blocks to the beach and 3 doors from the swimming pool. The house was the perfect size with plenty of outside space for relaxing. We will be staying here again after the Christmas holidays!

This property had everything and was listed as advertised. It was the perfect location in Seaside close enough for the kids to ride bikes and for us to walk to the city center, but far enough away that it was quiet during the morning and evening. It was newly redecorated and had new furniture and home decor, it was gorgeous. The appliances were state of the art and we cooked dinner almost every night. The private beach access & the streets blocked at night gave us a sense of security for our teenagers. That’s was important because the cell phone service was terrible all up and down 30A. I loved the time we spent at Emma Lou and would highly recommend this perfect location for your family. We had 14-17yo’s and it was perfect, especially with individual access to master bedroom and the amazing porches to hang out on. Marie was a wonderful host. It also came with several bikes and that helped the kids get around easily to all the other locations they wanted to. I can’t say enough about this property and highly recommend it.

We had an amazing time at the Emma Lou with our family and friends. The home was easy walking distance from the beach and the main Seaside square, so we were able to enjoy both every day. The kitchen and living room were perfect for spending the evenings together playing board games and watching TV. We highly recommend this home!

Perfect weekend getaway
My family visited the Emma Lou for an end of summer weekend getaway and have a lovely time. The house was wonderful, the location was convenient, and the responsiveness was prompt. Thank you, Marie, for sharing your beautiful home with us!!

Location location location!
Beautifully furnished and charming Seaside home, the Emma Lou was perfect for us! About 3 short blocks both from the Odessa Pavilion (the closest beach) and the town square, it was super easy to get around, and the Emma Lou came with bikes for exploring, as well as lots of items for a great beach day! The upstairs wrap around porch with outdoor furnishings is so nice. Our point of contact for this VRBO, Marie, could not have been more helpful-she was outstanding! Only suggestion was that kitchen could use a 13x9x2 oven pan. Because of Covid-19, we actually did a lot of cooking at home, and the dining table was great for fitting everyone. You can rent chairs and umbrellas for the beach from a company called Cabana Man, the only company utilized by Seaside private beaches right now, and you can have groceries delivered from the local Publix with Instacart. We enjoyed paddle boarding with Adventure 30A and playing some golf at the Links at Sandestin, which is 9 holes and has a stretch right along the water. The sunsets and fine white sand are just gorgeous. We would love to come back!

The emma Lou was perfect for our family. We walked to shopping, restaurants, beaches. The kids took bikes where they wanted to go. This house is steps from the seaside pool. Perfect location and perfect house!

Cute house and great location
This was my first time in Seaside and the Emma Lou did not disappoint. It is such a cute house and wonderfully located close to EVERYTHING! The beach is three blocks away and I rented some chairs through Cabanaman in the Odessa Pavilion and I was there in a less than 5 minute walk. You can walk to the square in less than 5 minutes. The house was adorable and had everything we needed. Marie is a joy to work with, and she was readily available to answer all the questions I had before and while I was there. I would highly recommend staying there!

Amazing house and location!
The Emma Lou was absolutely adorable. My husband and I took our five children and had an amazing vacation. The home owner was so helpful and delightful. The house was a very short walk from the beach and pool. The location couldn’t be better. The house decor was gorgeous and everything was so comfortable. The two wrap around decks were so much fun and the outdoor shower was great! We will be back for sure!

Best Rental Property in Seaside!
The Emma Lou was an absolute dream to stay in! The interior is stunning, the beds are super comfortable, and everything is so clean and new. The wrap-around porch is the perfect place to enjoy a hot cup of coffee in the morning:) The house is also incredibly close to the beach! We were able to walk/bike everywhere in a matter of minutes. If you want to enjoy Seaside to the fullest, The Emma Lou is a MUST! I can't wait to come back! Amazing property with incredible communication from the property manager. 5 Stars!!!

Absolute perfection! This house was the perfect destination for a getaway! The owner provided a great list of recommendations and left her number incase we needed anything at all! The house was beautifully decorated and all the amenities were a fabulous touch to the house! If you are looking for a vacation home to stay in Seaside I highly recommend Emma Lou! The house was extremely close to the heart of Seaside and the owner provided bikes to make the trip around 30A even easier!

This house was super clean and beautifully decorated. Very comfortable beds! Plenty of space for everyone in our family. Great, easy communication with the home owner. Anytime we had a quick question she would respond immediately. 2 blocks from the beach and from Seaside town center, 1 block from the pool. Check in and out was easy and flexible. The house was stocked with everything we could possibly need.

Family Gathering
Perfect place to gather with our adult children, their spouses and our grandchildren. Marie, the owner, was wonderful! She let us know about beach chair rentals, nearby pool, fitness area, as well as fun places to visit. Emma Lou is a dream place to stay. The location is perfect. We will definitely be back!
