Incredible view on the terrace! The apartment was clean, comfortable, and well appointed. We loved that the property was in a quiet location away from the crowds. With the nearby cafes, supermarket, and bakery next door, it felt like more of an authentic experience than staying in a tourist trap

Nothing, everything was perfect

It's a nice and comfortable apartment for two persons. It means, if you are four, two of you must sleep in the living room....but: 1. living room faces to a noisy street, so windows cannot be opened even at night. 2. Air conditioning in the living room is absolutely ineffective. When we arrived, there was 34 Celsius in the apartment, and it decreased to 29 Celsius with air conditioning in 10 hours. If you leave, the electricity (for example air conditioning) automatically switched off, so it isn't possible to temperate. (These disadvantages were not relevant in bedroom, It's quiet enoungh and can be properly temperated.)

Rubbish of previous guests was left in the bathroom. Only two coffee capsules for four person.

the parking is only free at night and on Sunday. therefore we spent a lot of money in parking despite the fact that “free parking” was in theory included

The appartment is even better than in photos. We loved having dinner in the terrace, the view is incredible there! The flat was very clean and well equipped.

It's the ,3rd floor above the ground and no elevator.. pack light The power cuts off when you leave .. ona hot day like we had and if one comes back very late l, the I side to is 30 def C and takes all night of highest mode to get it 25 def C

I can only say Barbara and her father are people of great understatement and generosity. I had a hard time getting myself to leave the apartment in the morning and looked forward to coming home each evening. The nearly 360 view of Florence, lush greenery, the Duomo, and rooftops was a revelation for me. I would sit on the deck with a lovely glass of Chianti they provided or lay down and watch clouds pass. The inside is stylish, has every amenity, and is squeaky clean. I do not think I could have found a better apartment or value in Florence. I enjoyed the authentic neighborhood and easily walked to everything I wanted to see. I feel really lucky to have met the hosts, words like lion hearted come to mind. Barbara’s dad looked like he had hit a home run in the World Series when he saw how excited I was that I got to stay in their apartment. Who does that?

Very good location, the apartman is pristine and pretty. Kitchen is well equiped. You can leave coffe machine home! 😀

Living room is a little noisy and difficult to cool it down even with air conditioning.

We were given a complimentary bottle of wine which was really tasty. The apartment was very clean and the normal bed was very comfortable. If you get the room with the terrace, you can also head upstairs where it has a lovely view. It's about 20 minutes walk into the city centre, however we were very near some very good restaurants. Not a pro or a con, just something worth noting.

The actual address needs to be sorted out, if you put it into maps, it doesn't give you the correct address and they make you enter a different address which is incredibly confusing. Upon emailing the apartments via booking.com, the host was super responsive. We were informed that we would be greeted with the host's cousin Francesco. He was responsive up until after check-in and then he was like a ghost who never existed. We texted asking about parking and had to send our passport details across, and we never received any response after. Made it feel like a dodgy transaction as we were sending the passport photos via a text message, unsure what was going to happen with our details. A response would have been nice to say thanks I've got them and I'll file them. Francesco showed us around VERY quickly and missed out the important parts like where do we find bedding for the sofa bed or towels, etc. It was as if he was in a huge rush to get it all done and he had somewhere better to be. Lastly, the sofa bed could have been more comfortable. It should be noted that there are 4 flights of stairs and no lift. Fine for able bodied people but not great if not.

This was a beautiful place to stay and was in a lovely and quiet area. I will definitely be coming back here. My daughter was able to have the pull out sofa bed and we each had a bathroom. The hosts were lovely too. The washer was an added bonus for us as well.

There was nothing we didn’t like. It was a very delightful stay and we even extended our time there.

I like the property, it has everything which is needed during our stay. moreover. the bus stop is also in front of the property. there is a supermarket which is very close to it. so it is well connected to the city.

the only bad thing is that it is on the top floor of the building and I think it was 4th or 5th floor. so if you are traveling with kids and also have a stroller then I would not recommend this. the location is not in the center but can be reached easily by walk in less than 30 minutes
