Nestled in Bella Vista, this charming house for $324 per night is a great choice for your next vacation. Relax with an incredible Lake Avalon view here in Northwest Arkansas with so much to do including Crystal Bridges, ice skating, beautiful light displays in multiple nearby cities, plays and performances, riding or hiking the multi-use trails and enjoying a plethora of restaurant options. Great place for a large group of bikers, golfers, museum goers, families, etc. Beautiful Lake Avalon can be seen from the living room on both levels, both of which have a fireplace and a kitchen. The whole house has been updated with new floors, new paint and an expanded kitchen. Enjoy easy stone step access to the water's edge just 20 yards from the covered back porch. The screened balcony has 180 degree lake views. Amenities include an 8' x 24' floating swimming and fishing dock, gas and charcoal grills, porch furniture for lounging, fire pit with seating and 2 kayaks to paddle down the no wake lake to the park with a sandy beach, horseshoe pits, volley ball, and more. Perfect for small family reunions, getaways, shopping weekends, golf outings, tennis tournaments and biking/hiking adventures. The downstairs living room has a futon that lays back to accommodate 1 adult or 2 children. In the downstairs kitchen, 3 waffle irons and electric skillet are available for a breakfast gathering . Kids can watch a movie in the trundle room while adults enjoy an outdoor fire and stargazing. A pack and play and a baby feeding seat is available. NOTE: The driveway is fairly steep but easy to get used to. In order to have a short walk to the lake you have to have a steeper driveway to negotiate. There are 2 parking spaces along the road for those less adventurous. We stayed with our adult children and our parents - the house was perfect!! Everyone had their own space. Both the indoor and outdoor areas were wonderful spaces to gather and enjoy family time! Close to do many beautiful things to do and see! The owners were responsive and great to work with. We are hoping to come back in the summertime to enjoy the dock and get into the lake!

The property was very nice. Had a very cottage feeling and was very relaxing. The driveway down to the house took a little getting used to as it's fairly steep but once we got used to it it was fine. We really enjoyed the decks looking out over the water and the kayaking.

A serene and peaceful lakeside cottage. The moon dance is aptly named. We watched a harvest moon arc overhead as its reflection shimmered on the smooth glass like surface of lake Avalon. Comfortable and inviting furnishings were abundant both inside and outside. No one wanted to leave.

What a great place to unwind and relax! This peaceful, quiet setting on Lake Avalon allows that and more. Just steps from the water in a quiet, well kept neighborhood and plenty of activities within a short walk or drive of this home away from home. The owners were very nice and available if needed. A magical vacation spot, the house was well equipped with everything you would need to make vacation easy. The screened in porch and dock on the lake made for some of our favorite places to be. Trails right up the road to bike. Definitely a place we will want to continue visiting.

Mini vacay for family and friends ages 18 to 85 y.o. While the "older crowd" enjoyed spending time on the spacious screened in porch, the "younger crowd" spent a lot of time on the water and at the fire pit. The home had everything for our group of 7 and everyone had a great time.

This was our second time visiting Moondance Cottage, and once again, it did not disappoint!
We spent the majority of our time on the screened porch or the dock enjoying all the birds and the breezes off the lake!
It was a quick trip in to Bentonville to hit the farmer's market and there are plenty of stores nearby if you need to stock up.

Beautiful setting, comfortable beds. Close to all attractions in the area. If I have one negative it is comfort of furniture and better pillows would be a plus.

We had a wonderful time at Moon Dance Cottage. The lake is beautiful and steps away from the cottage. The fire pit was where we spent our time in the evenings, laughing and reminiscing about days gone by. It was just a short drive to things we wanted to do locally. Clean, comfy and relaxing. This home worked better than we expected. This home has two living areas. The adults stayed upstairs and we let the kids stay downstairs with their ever own kitchen. We were traveling with kids ages 16 through 4. The whole setup worked great for us.
The dock is where we spent a lot of time. The kids fished and adults just sat and enjoyed some sun and conversation.
We did a glow in the dark Easter Egg hunt and this property was amazing for this. Penny also left the kids some craft supplies for making Easter bags. Having a host go beyond made for the best stay.
We loved that we could bring our dog with us as well.
This house it stocked with everything. Even some condiments left in the refrigerator.
We would definitely rent this home again.

Comfortable beds. Very quiet neighborhood...except for the occasional sound of the migrating ducks. The owner helpfully provides lots of info on the area & arranged for guest passes to the local amenities. We couldn't have asked for a more pleasant experience.

This place is so nice right on the lake. The upstairs screened porch is wonderful as is the downstairs back deck and the boat dock.
Plenty of room for 3 adult couples, and very comfortable. Nice neighborhood, and not very far from Bentonville. Two Thumbs Up ! We'll be back.

We enjoyed our stay at the lakehouse. The house has both a screened in porch and a deck. We loved the lake view from the house and the close proximity to the water. Fall is a beautiful time to visit NW Arkansas. We were able to have a nice view of the water and fall foliage. The house is very well furnished and very comfortable. We would certainly go back on a future visit if we were able to book it again.

We stayed here for Bikes, Blues and BBQ 2022 and it was perfect! The driveway is steep but if you want the lake in your backyard you’re going to have to deal with the hill. The views were totally worth it! Everything we needed to cook and enjoy our stay was provided and we had no issues at all. Thank you for letting us enjoy your property!

We spent our days driving to the attractions in Bentonville (a 25 minute drive south, but on direct route), hiking nearby trails, and relaxing by the lake, and our evenings playing board games.
The house was stocked with a lot of amenities we were able to use including extra of everything and all the “gear” we needed (kitchen tools, games, life vests, etc.). I would say one drawback is the lake use fees ($6 if you are asked by the water patrol - we were not but were there on a non-holiday weekend) and the process of getting guest access passes for the lake. Penny was amazing though at helping us to resolve issues and questions and was so kind to manage us while on her own vacation.
Price was absolutely right and the house was pleanty large to accommodate a family of 3 plis a family of 5 (four adults and four teenagers).

Great house with everything laid out nicely. Loved the dock and the lake. Great time watching the dragonflies, fish jumping in the water. There's even a heron that visits the sock.
