The staff were always nice and attentive and helpful. The hotel was very well located, and quite close to many attractions and the historic centre. The beds were also very comfortable, and the hotel didn’t seem to be crowded.

Sometimes at breakfast, it would take sometime for the staff to refill certain foods or drinks, but that was just a minor inconvenience. The room was very spacious and the beds quite comfortable, but the floor didn’t seem to be vacuumed very well.

I arrived late, after midnight. When I attempted to check in I was told my reservation had been automatically cancelled at midnight. I was told I was in luck, that they still had rooms, and I could have one for a higher price. I had an early flight and only needed the hotel for a few hours. I told them I’d just go ahead to the airport. As I was getting on the elevator to leave I was told they’d make and exception and my reservation would be honored. After that it was hard to like anything about the hotel. I’m also not all that happy with the way Booking has handled this.

a/c didn’t work first night and was very hot and uncomfortable both in bedroom and worse in living room. staff was called to fix. when we came back from our daily outing room still wasn’t working. A/C tech said he would fix next day. I got upset and requested room change which was granted

The location of the property is next to countless of historical locations and everything is in walking distance. The room was clean and smelled fresh upon arriving. The staff was kind and answered all questions. The bed was comfortable and the restroom was clean.

Not much of a view from the room, nor furnished.
