Great location for a concert we went to.
Also close to the beach
Parking should be free.

Floorboards in corridors creaky so sleep disturbed. Dining room like a canteen. Not a 4 star hotel
7.0
Great location, spacious rooms
Everything is a bit old and dated, the place could use some TLC.
Breakfast is simple, no room service available.
5.0
Able to use the lounge area before and after check out.
The 2 family rooms that were part of our booking were dirty,
dust holding mirrors up
Sinks dirty
Bath had black bits in, like someone had just had a bath
Beds had a gap between mattresses in one of the rooms which meant the baby wasn’t safe sleeping.
Decor was old and dated, chipped paint and marks on walls in all room.

Great location.
Very small double bed, well wouldn't call it a double bed. Swimming pool was out of bounds. Very hot room, and very noisey hotel. Shower pressure Very low, and luke warm.

Great Central location close to shops, bars and a 10 minute walk through the park to the seafront 👍🏽

The location of the property was perfect, electric charging in the car park too.
Rooms were dusty, no hot water in the morning when showering, came to use the facilities (pool) but the pool was closed the whole weekend we were there! I’m still waiting for refund of the difference of my previous booking as you cancelled last minute due to a muck of availability and now I believe there should be a further discount due to the reasons I’ve stated above.

The Hotel was full to capacity so when I rang reception to request a fan and fridge, I was expecting to wait but within 5 minutes Gilgar working on the reception desk and another colleague arrived with the items. I recommend, if you have time to visit the spa and pool with it's unique Victorian architecture. The Bar was friendly and we enjoyed sitting in the beautiful garden area to relax. We all agreed that the beds were very comfortable.
Air conditioning would have been good as it was hot but there is no complaints as we were aware of this when booking.

A family friendly hotel with a great location! The location is ideal because it was at a walkable distance to the beach and close to the shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again because the staff were very friendly and accommodating and the location is perfect if you have a young family.
It does look and feel slightly run down but all the positives overlook this!

First impressions - entrance, foyer, garden - were very good. Young staff were very polite and professional. Bed was very comfortable.
The door key only ever worked after about 6 attempts, the walls could have done with being painted and the interior doors were finger marked. There was no safe(although there were instructions on how to use one), no tissues, no biscuits or bottled water in the room although these were featured on your website. There was no "instructions" booklet to help direct guests to the heating switch -which was concealed behind the television - how to pay for meals taken in the dining room, or how to get the room serviced every day. The young staff at reception were always very helpful but really, should guests have to ask them?
Breakfast was very hit and miss, croissants one day but not the other 3 mornings, ditto bread not toast.
Had to return milk jug which was dirty and unacceptable and had to sort through 4 bowls to find a clean one for cereal. I was not the only one doing this. Despite all this the young waiting staff were very helpful and cheerful.

the hotel staff were friendly nice to have a lift to all floors
you were given table service not buffet breakfast but that fine but the breakfast was very poor
cold cooked breakfast
cold beans cold fried egg cold poached egg
the only part of the breakfast that was ok was the veggie sausage which was hot
the toast had been cooked in advance so cold
I would recommend stay there but go out to breakfast

location
our room was very shabby, needs renovating, mattress poor, hard and lumpy. duvet almost non existent within cover, pillows poor quality and uncomfortable, I expect they keep the dated poor quality rooms for the cheaper rates

modern but with charm of old building

Loved the size of our family room and the huge bed! Also exceptional water pressure in the shower. Kids had a great time in the warm pool. staff were very friendly and the atmosphere was relaxed but still felt like a “proper” hotel. Dog friendly was the main plus for us!
Paying so much for parking (although carpark was really secure and handy). Breakfast was lovely but some items didn’t seem to be replenished very quickly.

Lovely hotel close to the wonderful beach we were there in April I expect it would be a lovely summertime location. We had dinner at the restaurant on our last evening the food was very nice. Very friendly staff at reception. We enjoyed our family breakaway. Thank you.
Items ran out for breakfast and were not replenished. Car parking charges high at £16 per night.

My room on ground floor. Very dark. Could not stay in it.
Staff extremely helpful and found a very nice room on first floor.

central and clean
floorboards creaked in the room when walking across the room. floorboards creaking every time somebody went past outside room. had 2 cups to begin with in the room, when cleaning the room took away a cup and never replaced it. obvious there was 2 people staying in the room. room was comfortable but tired. I would not call this a four star hotel.
