Location was great. Pool was warm
We chose the hotel as it has sauna and jacuzzi advertised, both out of order, very dissatisfied with that. Parking charge was advertised at £8 on the carpark board, was charged at £12. And only paper cups in rooms available to make drinks into - this is expected in a hostel, not a hotel. Not a great value for money :(

Plus points , indoor swimming. Ample parking, breakfast & bar.
I would definitely use this hotel, if I ever come to Eastbourne.
Staff are polite and good too
The bar was a bit pricey.
The bathroom could do with renovation

Room was spacious. Location is close to the beach. Staff was helpful.
Hotel is generally is pretty rundown. Lifts were not working. Spa/hot tub, sauna were not working. Bed mattress was very uncomfortable as it is so old that it’s lost shape. Drainage on my bath and sink was blocked and have to wait for the following day to get it fixed.

Staff is friendly and polite ready yo help
The hotel is outdated, and the bed was very uncomfortable, pilows very lumpy. My husband ended up with hip pain after one night spent there.

The breakfast was ok the bathroom was ok bed was comfy and not far from everything. Wifi was decent enough .
Over priced ( I’ve stayed in far far superior hotels for this price ) very tired and chargeable parking for guests is not on. I got upgraded from a single to a double and there was no curtains or blinds on any of the windows especially the big one which guests upstairs could look down into if they wanted to. When I mentioned this to reception they acted as if they were shocked there wasn’t a curtain etc , but offered no solution just blank expressions it’s obvious it’s been missing months but they can’t be bothered to sort it . Safe didn’t work .

The location
The tv didn’t work. The double bed mattress was broken. The toilet came loose and wobbled

Nothing
Everything, it was dirty, unkempt, fire doors propped open with towels, rubbish bags in the hallway, damp and water leaks in the room, had to change room but not much different

Luckily we did not get breakfast.
I could settle for the quality if the price was lower. Our room was missing a bed, they didn't change the room. The hotel is busy but you can see that they have no control over it. Everything is outdated, dilapidated. Upon arrival there were shaving hairs in the toilet. I chose the hotel because of the pool but it was dirty and cloudy, we didn't swim in the end. Please read the reviews before choosing a hotel. They asked for a credit card as a guarantee in case we accidentally damaged something. But there was nothing to destroy. With the next choice of hotel, I would be more careful and choose a better one without a pool.

Location was good for evening entertainment
1 bar staff working all night on his own in hotel covering 24hr bar and security.

The location is perfect. You are next to the BIC so a few minutes from the beach. Also if you head up the hill there is a lovely Italian and bars etc and a lovely walk back down to the beach.
Staff were all great.
The hotel is very tired. First impressions when arriving in the car park not good or when entering the hotel especially as the lift was broken. Reception area much better. Rooms need renovation. Pool area boiling hot and water murky.
Parking £12 extra.

Location value for money
Traffic noise from the road the room we stayed in (105)was very hot but you could not have window open .

The Staff were very polite, the rooms were clean and the hotel not too noisy. The spa was lovely.
My bathroom floor was held together by coloured tape, the tv made a fizzing noise which was slightly annoying and the tv couldn’t be turned off by the remote. I found it hard to find a time to get to the pool as there were children’s lessons happening when I wanted to swim, in the end I just went down there at the same time. There was also a broken drain cover in the centre of the pool.

Location was good close to beach and amenities
Decor needs updating in room wall paper hanging off, furniture in room old and outdated. Banisters in lobby needed cleaning. Price in bar was expensive. Residents had to pay for car park

Although clean room was tired in appearance. Fan provided but room was very hot.

The shower
Car oark full and had to park else where paying £24.
The rooms were very outdated with peeling wallpaper and dirty lamp shades. The front doors to each room need replacing as they had to be slammed to shut, we were woken at around 3am.by talking and someone slaming their door shut.

Breakfast was okay. Cooked English breakfast, lots of cereal to choice from , fruit also yogurts ,great coffee machine!
All staff i found to be very friendly / helpful and work extremely hard.
Found difficult to sleep could hear loud music , and doors slamming,
Lovely little swimming pool but found groups of drunk men in pool and hot tub , this put me off taking my little girl for a swim. Parking was expensive should be free to paying guest .

I booked 2 rooms 4 months prior to our visit, for myself and Sister and brother in law. They both have health problems and need supporting. I requested 2 rooms next to each other so I could keep an eye on them and received an email back from the Trouville confirming that this had been arranged. However, when we checked in and i mentioned this, I was told that the hotel was full and we had been allocated rooms on the first and third floors.I showed the member of staff the email from the Hotel, but this made no difference. The easy chair in my room was ripped and needed throwing out.Hotel was clean, breakfast adequete.

Very dilapidated, desperately in need of refurbishment. Would have liked more healthier choices for breakfast.

The bed was comfortable and room was clean. Close to bournemouth beach just 5-10 minute walk. Used the swimming pool. Was greatly heated. Didnt use sauna as didnt knkw how to put it on but later on figured it out. Curtains were good as it got pitch black when closed.parking for extra £12 but worth it as you dont need to worry while on the beach or going to town.
Needs to be updated.

it was a super location and easy to get to the town centre.
It was like staying at faulty towers, the main reception and bar was modern but the room was disappointing. Old, dated and very uncomfortable. I did not use the shower as it only trickled when turned on and the shower curtain was brown at the edges, I didn’t feel as though it was clean. I was only staying for one night if it was longer I wouldn’t of stayed.

stayed here many times, and recommend to plenty of people. Getting a bit dated now but good location for beach, bars, restaurants etc. Staff friendly and helpful, good breakfast and comfortable bed.
Not one to generally complain but the floor boards in the room creaked really badly but you can put up with that, a lot of noise from above, we were on 3rd floor (308) sounded like a washing machine our something going on at stupid hours, again could just put up with that, but the most disappointing thing was the shower, it was absolutely hopeless, the water only just made it out to shower head, I did asked to be moved but apparently they were full booked. And the last thing, £12 a night to park the car, this is on top of a big increase on the room tariff in the last few years. I only really look for a clean comfortable bed ( which it was) and a decent shower.

The location was perfect, there was parking alongside the hotel, the staff were excellent, the food really good, the room was comfortable, and the price was fair.

Breakfast it was good and location close to beach and citycenter.
The cleaning could be better. I found cobweb on the ceiling and the window was dirty.

location was great, just by the sea.
bedding in room smelt greasy. The changing facilities for pool were more like a cupboard with no lock and jacuzzi was a yellow colour that smelt of urine.

The staff were all amazing and helped us woth any enquiry we had. It was so close to the beach which was perfect for our kids. Swimming gg pool on site was amazing for the kids as well

The location was great, so close to the centre and where a lot of the hotels are. It's also not too far from the station (you can walk about 30 mins or get a bus).
The room was big, with a private bathroom and a BATH 😍 which I was very pleased about. TV in the room, so i was able to chill and watch Antiques Road Trip when I arrived.
And the hotel has a swimming pool, which I was happy to make use of before I left. It was quiet since it was Tuesday at around 8:30am and I basically had the pool to myself which was nice!
My only real complaint is that there was damp in the corner of my room (the carpet was wet just in one corner), this was room 304 I believe just so the hotel is aware of this issue. This was after a bath, so not sure if there is a leak or something.

Uncomfortable bed
Shower water was orange
Duck tape holding things together
Bathroom door wouldn't shut

The location was great. Very close to the town centre and the beach.
The rooms need refurbishing. The wallpaper is falling off, the floorboards creek when you walk inside the rooms, and the carpet was dirty.
