The staff were lovely, very friendly & helpful. They allowed us to leave our bags after we checked out so we could visit the beach before heading to Cozumel. The hotel looked great & in the heart of the action so everything was accessible.
It is situated in the middle of a busy area so was quite noisy which I imagine light sleepers may find difficult to deal with. There was no lift so you may struggle with heavy luggage if you have a room on the upper floors. There was no catering on site so we were given a voucher for a restaurant across the road for breakfast. They stated it was an American breakfast but it was awful

Just the location.
There is no elevator while the hotel is a bulding with 3 stairs ..in addition the staff is not ready to help with the luggage.. if you ask the answer will be no and you will get many unwelcoming face expressions.
The lobby smells so bad, the room was not so clean
Dirty towels and bed coves ( we asked to change it)
Just to make you know the breakfast is about 1 option 1 plate ( 1 Peice of bread and som fried eggs ).
The pool is so dirty( we couldn’t swim )
Also the pool beds are very dirty

Great location, right on 5th avenue. Love the simple but nice decor. And great, they have a small fridge in the room.

The hotel is new and rooms are clean and comfortable. I was here for short period of time and didn't have chance to try the breakfast or to use the pool. That said the beach is couple blocks away and the hotel has coffee shop, restaurant, and offers beauty services.
Personally, for me the hotel was located little far away from the bus station and the ferry, about 1.5 km. When I checked in I was excited to have relaxing evening. The room looked amazing and comfortable. Unfortunately, there was a concert of some sort and really loud music playing till 2 am. When I came downstairs to ask about how long this usually takes, I was given some earplugs. I believe this particular location gets loud on regular bases and if you are looking to rest, I would pick different hotel away from Fifth Ave.

Absolutely nothing they don't clean the room bad management
They lie about everything they offer in the website shows one thing but when you see it in person you will feel really disappointed shame on this place

The room looks good,
I wish the electricity can run while we are out. It was very hot when we come back from a night out and had to turn back on again the AC .
the jacuzzi room we booked, there were some things that came out of like liming scale and it didn't look good and we didn't use the jaccuzi because of that (i provided picture to staff and email the hotel, but no response)

We received nice room in front of the swimming pool. Helpful receptionist Mary did a lot for us during our stay. Her work performance is on the highest level. Generally nice and helpful service
Lack of hairdryer and iron
Breakfasts are bad

Elevator out of order

Location was great, beds were comfortable, the pool is clean
I had to pay extra for parking in the hotel. Elevator was out of service so we had to walk four floors of stairs. They only cleaned our room once in the five days we stayed. Blasting noise coming from other rooms in the middle of the night.

the hotel stuff was nice to us and very polite. the front desk ladies are really nice.
Our experience at the Caribbean paradise boutique hotel in Playa del Carmen, Mexico was very unsatisfactory for several reasons.
Firstly, we had booked a queen size suite and were disappointed by what we received. The actual suite was nothing like the pictures advertised and was more akin to a small closet.
Secondly, we had a one-year-old baby with us and found the hotel unsuitable for families with young children due to the loud noise from surrounding bars and clubs at night, which was not mentioned in the hotel description. The noise made it difficult for us and our baby to sleep.
Thirdly, the outside AC machines were also very noisy and poorly fixed on the walls. Despite our attempts to get the hotel staff to fix the issue, they were unhelpful, leaving us to solve the problem ourselves.
the bathroom smelled like waste water and the hotel is definitely not worth the price.
Finally, the breakfast provided was extremely disappointing, with guests only receiving one plate per day without any choice of its contents. We expected a variety of options, including fruits, cereals, vegetables, and vegetarian or vegan options, especially considering that we live in the 21st century. To make matters worse, we had to pay extra for basic items such as butter, jam, or milk for coffee.

The room had a nice design.
This was the worst hotel experience I’ve ever had - and I don’t write this lightly. My first room was dirty with fluids & marks on the bed linens, debris on floor, etc. I offered to wait for them to clean it - no biggie but they moved me instead & seemed unconcerned. They new room was so loud (bar RIGHT beneath- 1 floor down has a loud band, a restaurant nearby has a loud band & another location I couldn’t pinpoint was blasting music. THREE loud sources of music blasting into the room made it so loud -in the room-, I had to leave the room to just talk on the phone!!!! and this went on until 3AM so I got no sleep. I paid a lot for their best suite and supposedly best view- the hotel is situated too low to have a view so all you see is the street and littered rooftops. I’ve stayed many places around the world - I’m not picky - from hostels to palaces and all in between - my only criteria is that it’s CLEAN and reasonably comfortable. This hotel was neither and for the nightly rate I paid - it was grimy, run-down & LOUD. Also, for guests with disabilities you may want to contact the hotel before you book because the elevator was not functioning. At least I’ll never forget this hotel…

The location was excellent, right in the middle of 5th Ave. Everything was clean and the free breakfast was good every morning (although a little bit more variety would have been nice)
It is very loud at night due to the close proximity of the bars and music (didn't bother us, but something to consider if you have small children)

Not much.
I wasn’t impressed from the moment we walked in. No one bothered to help us to our room with our bags. No one bothered to show us where the pool was. When we checked in we were stood at the front desk waiting for god knows what, for 30mins. We weren’t communicated what was happening. We turned the tap on in our room and it exploded and then as an apology we got two 10%gift cards for a restaurant that’s clearly
Rubbish. We attempted to used these gift cards and all 3 items we wanted they didn’t even have. Not Impressed. I work in customer service so I expected a certain level and it just wasn’t reaching. The pool Is rubbish in person. You got a big hotel and a garden size pool which doesn’t make sense. The view from the pool was awful, I really came to sit on holiday and stare at a shopping mall. The room also didn’t smell nice, it smelt humid and the drains were making the whole room smell even worse. The hotel has so much potential because it has beautiful decoration but it’s not looked after and needs up-keeping.

Bed was super comfy. Staff were friendly and did a great job making sure our room was clean. the room itself was really nice.
I saw lots of people complaining about the noise on the reviews but to say it was in the heart of playa del Carmen, it was fine. if you’re going on vacation to sleep at 10pm, don’t stay in a hotel in the heart of plata del Carmen!
Also, sometimes the washroom did smell but a lot of playa del Carmen is like that, so it’s not the hotels fault, and it wasn’t all that bad.
Tip: if your AC unit isn’t working very well, take the filters out and clean them - we did that and it worked like a gem.
That, and the shower could do with some maintenance. the shower head was so scaled up that half of the water was spraying in other directions.

Nice and clean, great location, we were able to walk to all restaurants, bars, and the beach.
The parking was an extra fee.
