Friendly staff, great harbor view from our room. A very short ride to go the Geosea spa which js amazing ocean view spa.
We on 2nd floor, the floor has some creaking sound when walk on.

- our stay was all right, didn't have a great expectation as this was last minute booking so we were happy to have a warm place to sleep at all
- clean
- beds were not really comfortable, walls are thin and in general all the place seems to be a little old and outdated

Location, it’s relatively near to harbour. 10 minutes of walking.
The room is a bit dusty, the desk is very small to even put anything down or do any work.

I liked the room. The beds were comfortable and the staff was very helpful and friendly. We had a great stay and it fulfilled our needs.
The pillows were too soft.

Hotel was clean is well maintained.
If you are staying on the first floor, you can hear people walking directly above you in a second floor room. This was OK for us, as they went to bed early and got up after us so we were able to sleep well.

Very nice staff, gave a good explanation of the surroundings and suggestions for restaurants. The jaja dingdong bar next door server a good breakfast for the hotel and everything in husavik is nearby.
Our room had a view of the roof of the neigbouring building but that is likely due to our choice of the budget room.

Location: It is located on Husavik Harbour with lovely views of the ocean and mountains. And it is also very central to shops, restaurants and tourist attractions. Some restaurants like the Lokal cafe and Whale Excursion like Gentle Giants offer 10% discount to hotel guests.
Reception: Self checkin was very cool. The reception desk had an old typewriter with instructions printed for each guest, which is a very cool idea
Ambience: The hotel is well decorated. Aesthetics are very artistic and done to a high taste and standard
Communication: Very quick and prompt email responses. Henrik suggested a perfect breakfast location to make our trip very momorable
Everything about the hotel was perfect. It would have been the perfect icing on the cake if they served breakfast, which only seems to be open during summer season of May-Oct

Nice big rooms, we had a great view on city&harbor
We were there at the beginning of the season (early March) and unfortunately almost all restaurants were closed, including the pizzeria linked to the hotel; also although the hotel seems pretty much booked out, breakfast service was not yet available so we ended up eating sandwiches for days; if we had known this before we would have been better of with a Guesthouse with kitchen...

Great location, overlooking the little harbour. Room was a good size, bed was comfy and the guys at reception were really friendly and helpful.
The bathroom could do with being introduced to some bleach and a Brillo pad, and the tea making facilities were somewhat lacking.

The receptionist was very friendly, he gave us plenty of amazing information and advices. The room was clean, beautiful with the best view over the port.

Our favorite hotel in Iceland, hands down! The hospitality here is top-notch. We felt completely welcome from the moment we arrived. The food is wonderful, the atmosphere, location, and facilities are perfect. 5 stars!
N/A - everything was great.
Tip: If you want a view from your room, don’t book a budget room. but there are plenty of views from the restaurant, so this isn’t an issue.
