Nice remote hotel

Great location apart from very challenging last 3km road ...very narrow and steep Rooms were great with fantastic view.

We ate dinner and breakfast. Dinner was sub par... overcooked meat. Breakfast so so. Lovely restaurant and the staff tried very hard to be helpful and cheerful.

Very good view from over the pool to the ocean (but only if you book one of the 2 two bedroom villas. The other villas, restaurant, and main pool do not have the same view. The photos on booking sites only show the view from the two bedroom villa.

We specifically booked one of the two 2 bedroom private pool villa to ensure we could enjoy the view from our private pool. On arrival the pool looked a little cloudy, by mid afternoon it had begun to turn green and the pool was unusable. We contacted the manager Ari (who is only available via WhatsApp) who assured us by morning the water would be clear, so we had no use of the pool that day. Next morning the pool was green and totally unable to be used so we again contacted the manager Ari (via WhatsApp only) who did not come to the villa and with little to no apology for the inconvenience offered that we move to the 2nd two bedroom pool villa, but we would have to wait for it to be cleaned and prepared. So the morning of our only full day at the resort was spend packing up, waiting in the restaurant, and them moving and unpacking into the 2nd villa. The newly built one bedroom villa, restaurant and shared pool are all very nice and are of a hight standard, however they do not have the same view and the older 2 bedroom villas and its a little deceiving as all the booking sites show only the view from these villas. Unfortunately these villas are tired, in need of a full refurbishment and are no longer the 5* star villas that they our touted to be. The furniture is worn, has patched, scratches and some even broken. The fridge handle is worn and filthy, the painted wood work is scratched and chipped, the sink plug is broken. In villa 1 both bedroom doors do not stay shut and swing open, even when locked they can be easily pushed open. If travelling with children or those with mobility issues you need to be made aware that the staircase is open with no handrail at all. Certainly would not meet western safety standards. I have attached as many photos as booking.com will allow, I wish I could load more. The mini bar prices and very expensive are the mark up on the products is over the top. $7.50AU for a Snickers chocolate bar, $5.00AU for a litre of milk

Einmalige Lage im norden Balis. Wir durften in der Villa1 übernachten, von der Terrasse aus überblickt man die Mangobäume, Palmen und die nördliche Spitze Balis. Was diesen Aufenthalt noch ausgezeichneter gemacht hat, ist die freundlichkeit des Personals.

La villa avec piscine et vue mer est exceptionnelle, elle est très spacieuse et très bien entretenue, de tous les logements que j’ai fait à Bali c’est la plus propre , le personnel est adorable et au petit soin, tout le monde est très professionnel c’est un plaisir . La vue est à couper le souffle, c’est un havre de paix et de bien-être

La villa est très excentrée si vous n’êtes pas véhiculé c’est très compliqué , la zone n’est pas couverte pas gojek. L’hôtel propose des chauffeurs mais seulement à la demi journée ou journée et il faut anticiper la demande 24h avant.

Positiv zu erwähnen ist das äußerst freundliche Team mit einer hervorragenden Service Leistung und die ansprechende Architektur des Ortes. Auch der eigene Pool war eine schöne Ergänzung, obwohl er nicht privat war.

Allerdings müssen wir darauf hinweisen, dass bei der Buchung nicht erwähnt wurde, dass im Resort noch Bauarbeiten stattfinden und es noch nicht ganz fertiggestellt ist. Dies war eine Überraschung für uns. Das Essen im Hotel war durchschnittlich, und es gab keine hauseigene Restaurantoption. Das größte Manko war jedoch, dass wir in den letzten drei Tagen unseres Aufenthalts kein warmes Wasser hatten. Das Fehlen eines Kleiderschranks und Haken zum Aufhängen unserer Kleidung bedeutete, dass wir aus dem Koffer leben mussten. Alles in allem war dies sicherlich keine 5-Sterne-Erfahrung, aber angesichts des Preises pro Nacht war es in Ordnung.
