One of the Best Stays of Our Lives

This is one of the best and most original places we have slept in. The location is perfect (it would only help if there were some signs on the main roads so that people can find the family easily), in the forest, surrounded with trees and wildlife, it was beautiful to sleep with the sounds of nature. Also, Neranga and his family are extremely kind, welcoming and hospitable. They prepared for us a real regal feast for breakfast that one cannot see in many hotels (there was a lot, everything was delicious, we ate almost the entire table), they showed us around, their garden full of interesting plants and fruits, vegetables and spices, and they also prepared small gifts for us when we were about to leave. This was truly one of the nices places we’ve stayed at. Not to mention making a childhood dream come true – sleeping in a treehouse. PS The house has everything: WiFi, hot water, AC, fridge. We loved it all. Especially the real trees with branches that are inside the house, too.

Fantastic!

Definitely one of the best places I have ever slept in. Wonderful family, amazing cute tree house, great organic homemade dinner and breakfast. The family was really nice, they showed us the sweet garden with its jasmine, passion fruits and cinnamon and took care of my husband who had a cold with some ayurvedic medicine. You cannot miss this while in Sri Lanka. Great experience with amazing memories!

Beautiful location and gardens the hosts Neranga and Nushalively people , mum did all the cooking and gave us gifts when

very unique, spotlessly clean amazing host could not do enough for us , made cakes coffee and even an evening meal prepared for us , had the best time ever . would highly recommend this beautiful place to stay ,Neranga took us around his garden and explained all the fruits and vegetables they grow there . Nisha his sister even invited us to her wedding , sadly we had to leave

Fantastic stay! 10/10

We planned on staying for New Year's at the Treehouse in Midigama, and ended up extending our stay for 11 days! The stay was phenomenal. The rooms were exceptionally clean, a hot water shower with deep well water, a huge spread for breakfast, and the kindest hosts. Neranga, Nisha, and their family have been so good to us. We can highly recommend staying at the Treehouse in Midigama. It is not far from the beach, where there are 2 surf spots, close to Weligama, Ahangama, and Mirissa. Can't recommend this place enough. Thank you!

Honestly, to say that I have had a fantastic experience during my stay at TreeHouse is like saying nothing. I don't even know where to start my feedback: 1 - TreeHouse - it is so cool, so unique, so beautiful. The location is just perfect, not so far from the sea, but still, a bit is hidden so you can have some relaxing time from noisy Shri Lanka. I saw so many beautiful birds, squirrels 2 – Food, it is the best breakfast I have ever had, food is amazing, too many options. And it served so beautifully! Moreover, I didn't expect this, but family made a surprise for me and cooked dinner due to NY celebration. Furthermore, you will try local food, the host will explain what it is 3 – Hospitality – host and his family are amazing, kind, and interesting people. They showed their garden (btw all the food you will have are organic and from their garden), showed how to work with cinnamon, and recommended so many things And last but not least, they made a present, something you are not expected at all, moreover they were so kind and checked how I got home from Shri Lanka. In conclusion, I do highly recommend this place, you will have an incredible experience😊

INCREDIBLE UNIQUE SRI LANKAN TREE HOUSE AYURVEDIC EXPERIENCE : )

Unbelievable tree house accommodation. If you love nature you will LOVE This place. The tree house itself is an incredible beautiful constructed piece of art with complete respect to the supporting tree. There are holes cut for each and every branch to allow the tree to grow and not be restricted. The Nature sounds in this garden were incredible and I felt completely at peace. The family are incredible and have so many vegetables and fruits that they grow in the garden not to mention the Ayurvedic medicinal plants. The family will share with you all of this knowledge if you are interested. They are welcoming and kind prepare amazing food, mostly picked from the garden. I couldn't recommend this place enough and can't wait to go back one day.

Amazing experience

Amazing experience tree house, beautiful build around living tree. We had delicious breakfast and dinner (and a lot) and and a tour around the garden and showed how to make cinnamon (and a gift of it for home).

We had a perfect stay at the Tree House. The owners are extremely friendly and took a lot of time for us. They showed us their garden and explained us everything. Both dinner and breakfast were outstanding with ingredients from their own garden. Sleeping in the Tree House was an outstanding experience and we can recommend it 100%.

Exceptional

The family was so lovely and kind. They warmly received me with a welcome drink and snacks upon arrival and kindly explained me everything I have to know. On my first night, I asked to have a dinner there as it rained and I didn't want to go out. I was pleasantly surprised by a candle-lit dinner made of ingredients from their garden. The food was so good, the best Sri Lankan food I had during my trip. Also, Neranga helped me to find a scooter after unexpected breakdown of my bike. It would have been very difficult without the help. Besides, I enjoyed every conversation we had, about plants, animals, and life in Sri Lanka. I learned a lot. It was my last stop in Sri Lanka and I could leave the country filled with admiration thanks to the family's kindness.

Authentic nature experience in a comfortable tree house hosted by a lovely family.

Fantastic experience for two nights staying in the tree house. Lovely caring family hosting with both parents and their well educated grown up kids taking care of us. Big breakfast with many different type of fruits, eggs, tea, coffee and some local things. We also booked a dinner served in their garden, very cozy with local food cooked by the mother in the house. Also we got a tour around the garden to know about everything that grows there and how they use it. The tree house have a comfortable bed, electricity, fridge and great toilet and shower. Everything worked very well!

Amazong experience

A terrific place. It's in a great location so easily walkable to the beach. The tree house is stunning and like nothing I've every stayed in before. It's an amazing piece of craftsmanship and clearly a labour of love as it needs to be changed with the growth and movement of the tree which grows through it. The room is very comfortable and the bathroom has everything you need. The family that own it are amazingly kind and hospitable and provided excellent communication with me from start to finish, answering questions I had beforehand and arranging for a tuk-tuk to pick me up from my previous accommodation when I requested help. Breakfast was a feast and they kindly offered to provide dinner for me, which I'm sure would have been lovely too had I been hungry.

Fantastic experience

The treehouse is a masterpiece. It is very clean and also has a bathroom. The family was really nice and took great care of us, made us dinner and breakfast, with lots of different ingredients from their garden. They also showed us all the plants and explained them to us. Living in a treehouse is an experience on its own.For nature lovers this is the perfect place to stay.

This is the best place you could stay in Sri Lanka, a truly amazing experience. I loved every minute

The Treehouse is an incredible stay with the most wonderful people you could meet in a land of wonderful people. It's so unique. The family waited up for me and made me an amazing dinner, free of charge. Sat and spoke with me, shared their lives and their home. It was a beautiful experience and in 3 weeks of 5 star hotels, this was better hands down.

Absolute nothing, it was brilliant! I don't have one negative, if anything I would say that the place was perfect. Please stay here :-))))

Royal breakfast! Delicious and various, with fresh fruits and traditional Sri Lankan dishes. The tree house was amazing! Bathroom view on the jungle and super technological with hot water system and fan! The staff was incredible too, incredibly kind and available for everything. I will keep a wonderful memory!
