Relaxte sfeer en fijne mensen

Vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel.! Fijne rustige locatie maar toch dichtbij faciliteiten. Comfortabel en prettig.

If you want to be directly on the beach and close to the surf this is the best place to stay.

Fantastic location right on the beach. Safe swimming and snorkeling in the lagoon right in front of the property. Lovely family run guest house, the family are so nice and friendly and very helpful. Perfect spot for surfing between lazy left and rams and a short paddle or walk to lazy right.

Nothing. It’s the best spot to stay in midigama. The rooms are simple and don’t have aircon but do have fans. We initially booked for seven days but ended up coming back a couple of times and the family were so welcoming it felt like coming home each time we returned.

Location

The owners. The owner is unwelcoming towards locals. I am Sri Lankan and was accepted because of my foreign travel partner but two local friends were not. That made me very uncomfortable and we decided to move to another location asap. The rooms are tired and unfortunately not worth the money spent

Amazing location, friendly welcome and spacious clean place to stay

The location is incredible right on the beach with a great swim spot in front and 3 surf spots in easy walking distance. We stayed in the spacious upstairs room with balcony with seaview through the palms. Everything you need is here, you can get drinks and breakfast, friendly owners and nice and peaceful.

We found paradise in Midigama!

Spectacular location right on the beach between Lazy Left and Rams surf breaks. The family who took care of us were so kind and we learnt so much from them, it was a pleasure to get to know them all. We loved this place so much we extended our stay and booked more nights to end our holiday with, there is no better place to stay in Midigama.

We loved the family, the chilled out vibe and of course the location. The rooms were also tidy and the family helps with everything we needed.

Good for a short stay on a budget.

Right on the beach with sunbeds to relax and lazy left surf right next door. short tuk tuk from other breaks in the area. Board rental across the road and somewhere to keep it in the garden. Food and drink available.

Rooms very basic and bathrooms not very high standard of cleanliness, lots of ants etc and open window so mosquitos able to get in at night.

Best location ever, right in front of Lazy Left surf spot and right in front of the beach. The owners are amazing people and the banana pancake is the best.

The room is very simple so if you need hight quality staying probably not the right option

best place for sure in Midigama, if you like to have some quite time, and surf.

when you go to bed uou hear the waves, when u wake up and step out of your door, you come into a lovely garden with coconut trees and u see the beach. there are hammocks, some tables and chairs. somone of the family is always here and help you or can make you any time any dish. paradise! I will come the 4th time in a couple of days.

If you like it simple and authentic – that‘s the place to be.

Super friendly and caring hosts, perfect location with an amazing beachfront. The surfspots are also right next to this place. Thanks to Sugi for cooking us an amazing bbq at the beach. We felt very comfortable and would definiteley come back.

Top surfer friendly place - a deep clean-up away to be a 9/10.

Great locations by the beach and couple of minutes walking from the surf spots (Lazy Left and right). Really friendly staff, speaks good English, arranged an airport transfer for us in the middle of the oil and diesel crisis in Sri Lanka (drivers have to wait all night long in unfathomable lines to get their fuel). Noteworthy : they gave us empty coconuts :D This place needs a little bit of work to be a real gem

The place needs a really really really good and deep cleaning. We booked other rooms in Sri Lanka for the same price point : they had better cleaning standards than this one. A bit of soap in the shower would have been nice.

Great beach location!

Right on the gorgeous beach with lovely views and quite private. Owner family were lovely, friendly and helpful. Traffic from the road could be noisy, but once in the beach you could only hear the waves crashing. Location was definitely the best thing about the place.

Cleanliness of rooms, bedding and towels wasn’t great. Facilities were quite run down which is to be expected after two years of Covid lockdowns with no customers and income, but rooms were unfortunately also not very clean which is something that can be easily remedied.

- best location in midigama straight at the nicest beach and close to the best Surfspots - very nice host Family - comfortable bed - good food for reasonable prices - sound of the Ozean 24/7

Best spot in Midigama, incredible, it's on the beach !! With perfect view over Lazy Left and Ram's surf. Already extended our stay, found my place to relax some more days😃 Fresh food and juices, to enjoy under shady palm leaves on beach Sunbeds 🌴Great fish BBQ and awesome burgers !! 🍔Lovely family-run guesthouse by Sugi and his cute dad, who loves to play carrom.

perfect basic beach stay especially if you’re surfing

loved this place so much. Its very simple, so don’t go if you need hot water and AC. but the bed was super comfy and the room was clean. its right on this amazing beach with nothing either side so you feel like a real Robison Crusoe. the staff were amazing and as someone travelling alone I instantly made new friends with all the guests. communal dinners and close to other places to eat. Lazy left and right is a couple of mins walk down the beach and you can reach rams in the same in the opposite direction.

Amazing location, friendly host and good value for money.

Great location right on the beach and wonderful host. Sugi and his father will take good care of you! Having said that, the rooms could use a wee bit of an update.
