Fajny, czysty, idealnie położony hostel z miłą obsługą

+ świetna lokalizacja - wszędzie blisko - dosłownie parę kroków do bankomatu, morza i restauracji + pokój ok + łazienka ok + śniadanie ok + miła obsługa + możliwość zostawienia bagażu po wymeldowaniu

- brak klimatyzacji - o czym oczywiście wiedziałam przed rezerwacją; na szczęście były dwa wiatraki, ale wiadomo, że to jednak nie to samo

Gute Lage, aber sehr dreckig!

Das Frühstück war super lecker und vielseitig! Echt eines der besten auf unserer Reise! Die Lage ist auch sehr gut!

Es war sehr dreckig und der Rezeptionist war sehr unfreundlich! Das Bad sah aus, als wurde es seit langem nicht ordentlich geputzt . Ekelhaft!

small room but with big hospitality

Location was excellent. The room i booked was small double room, which was indeed small. It only had the place for the double bed and a fan. But with the price you pay, it is all worth it. They offer breakfast which was not bad at all. The host Markus was quite active in responding to my questions on whatsapp. He was kind and answered all my questions and special requests too.

its a bit of a challenge at first to find this hotel but once you find it, its easy to come back to it after exploring stone town.

Perfect location for a stay in Stone Town. I would stay there again.

The location is very central in Stone Town and also conveniently close to the ferry. The property is beautiful and quite. The dorm rooms have AC and windows so they are well aired.

The dorm rooms are really small. I was lucky as we were only two people in the room at that time, but if it is fully booked, I imagine it being too small for comfort and for all the suitcases/backpacks.

Fantastiskt bra läge.

Frukosten var god. Mysigt med en egen kock.

Rummet var otroligt varmt. Vi hade fläktar, men fick öppna fönstret - och det var ändå fruktansvärt varmt. Det kändes inte som att fläktarna gjorde någon nytta alls.

Bra och centralt i Stonetown

Skulle bara stanna under dagen i väntan på flyget på kvällen. Någon konstig lukt på rummet, men blev bättre efter sprayning med något uppfriskande, samt en fläkt vid dörren, öppna fönster och takfläkten. Bokade med gemensam dusch och toalett, men fick en egen utan extra kostnad.

Z-Life, Zanzibar

The location is perfect. In walking distance of everything...the harbour for the ferry, the beach, the market, Forodhani Park and lots of restaurants. The breakfast was excellent, especially the banana pancakes and ginger tea. A beautiful building and layout.

We booked a superior triple room, but received a small double with a single bed crammed in. When it rained, the water came in & ran down the walls and soaked our suitcase. The fan in the bathroom didnt work, so it was very damp inside. There's nowhere to hang anything or shelves, so our bags were on the floor.

For the cost - it’s a great option, good location, nice people however it does get a little noisy.

Location, breakfast and staff are great.

Air con wasn’t the best so it made it really hot and the bathroom floor was a little dirty

We had a pleasant stay.

The proximity to everything. The staff and cleanliness of the place.

Was a bit hard getting out of bed as the bed was very close to the wall on either side.

かび臭さは消えなかった。日本人にはおすすめできない。ロケーションと朝食とスタッフはとても良かった。

朝食が美味しかった。スタッフが親切だった。ロケーションが良かった。他のゲストが親切だった。周りに猫が沢山いたけれどもどの猫もある程度太っていて賢くて可愛かった。一番入口に近いお部屋だったので、セキュリティーと騒音が気になったけれども、鍵をかけたら誰も入ってこないから大丈夫だった。疲れていたから騒音も気にならず、ぐっすりと寝た。タオルが清潔だった。お湯も出た。トイレットペーパーがあった。手洗い石鹸もあった。ベッドに蚊帳があったので虫に刺される心配はなかった。家具や内装はインスタ映え。

私に割り当てられた部屋がとてもカビ臭かった。ファンを回してもカビ臭さは消えなかった。健康的に、貸してはいけないレベルでカビ臭かった。一番入口に近いお部屋だったので、セキュリティーと騒音が気になったけれども、鍵をかけたら誰も入ってこないから大丈夫だった。ヘアドライヤーがなかった。ドアの前の客引きと物乞いがしつこかった。カード決済ができなかった。

Good

Great location for exploring Stonetown. It was very peaceful. Breakfast was the usual with fruit and eggs. The icing on the cake was home-made jam. It was so good that I took a glass home with me.

It stank when we arrived. Apparently they were painting the hallway with bad paint. I was missing a shelf and a hanger in the room so that I could put something out of my backpack. The only disposal option was the ground.

Superb

The location

I paid in advance. When I arrived, I had to pay a city tax which was more than what my stay cost. And the payment had to be in cash. There is no point paying In advance if I have to pay again. I’ve stayed in other places in Zanzibar and not been required to do this.

It's been disappointing. I would not recommend it for a one-night stay.

The breakfast, complete.

The beds and window haven't got mosquitoes nets, the sheets had some holes and there was only a little table as furniture. Besides, they didn't give us any towels and one mattress was not flat. The water tab was a tiny stream, difficult to wash your hands with.

Not much sleep - noisy and lots of mosquitoes

The breakfast was nice. In a good location, close to Forodhani and Tembo hotel. Staff were nice. The hotel was clean - toilet, bathroom and the restaurant, etc.

The bed was terrible and too much noise. The towels were not nice, the bed sheets were awful - polyester and very sweaty. Lots of mosquitoes but no mosquito nets. Nowhere to hang clothes - no wardrobe or cupboard.

Located in the center and very nice staff but the room had a lack of maintenance

Super nice staff trying on their best to make the stay comfortable. The hostel is suited in the very center of Stonetown and its easy to get anywhere from there.

The room was getting really hot at night having just one small window to the hallway and no proper ventilation in the front part of the room. The window and door to the hallway and the reception made it quite noisy. The beds had no nets and unfortunately it didn’t seem like there were other measures taken to keep mosquitos away as we got bitten quite a lot at night. In the price or description its not properly understandable that there is a tax of 9$ per person and night added which gave us quite a bad surprise arriving there on a low budget and then not being able to pay by card at the property.
