Would recommend to everyone and Jo the owner is great nothing was too much trouble for her

This is an amazing place that has everything you could ask for came with my son daughter and four grandchildren aged 7 to 13 we all loved it and want to come again !!

We had no negatives except the rain 🤣🤣

Incredible, we are already planning our next visit.

Everything! It was in the perfect location so peaceful, the beds are so comfortable. The whole place was spotless and Jo had thought about every last detail for making our stay perfect.

If you love to spend time in nature this is the best place. Forest, fire, plays, stories, hot tub...

Amazing location, we came back here after 2 years and everything looks better and more attractive.

Honestly I cannot say anything about that. Location, host, facilities at superlative.

Enjoyable stay

We loved that the children could play safely where the safari tent was placed. The tent was warmer than expected and the beds were super comfy. The tent was well kitted out with everything you needed.

Noise of the trains running by they were really loud and quite a few during the evening. Also one of rugs in one of the bedrooms was wet.

Definitely NOT camping - far too luxurious! The safari tent has all the modern home comforts you need yet you can enjoy the feeling of living under canvas - just perfect

Devon Staycation

Everything was wonderful, it was a perfect secluded, relaxing staycation for my husband and I.

It was a perfect setting, however my only complaint is that the train is very noisy, as highlighted in other reviews. We knew this before we chose to stay. Otherwise it would be a 10/10.

Idyllic setting, excellent facilities, beautiful glamping accommodation with super comfy beds. The jacuzzi was a amazing experience, making the fire waiting in anticipation to heat and then enjoying the warm temperatures in the secluded outdoors.

Outstanding Staycation!

Beautiful rural setting! Glamping with all the comfort of being indoors! Listening to the birds in the morning, the rain falling on the canvas, water fights on the grass in the sunshine, fire pit to toast marshmallows at dusk! Luxury of wifi and Netflix, super comfy beds and a hot shower!

It was a little noisy when the train went past and the last two days unfortunately a smell of sewage :( But that wasn’t for the whole time!

For a fun, secluded family/friends stay for a glamping experience - this is not to be missed!

The location was beautiful. Extremely spacious with excellent facilities provided. Absolutely faultless. Would highly recommend. Can’t wait to stay there again!

Fabulous holiday in excellent accommodation in gorgeous surroundings. We’ll be back!

The little touches like a bottle of fizz and pint of milk on arrival. Different towels for hot tub which the host had already lit for us to be warm for our arrival. Jo was really helpful and friendly.

Love stay first time glamping will definitely return

Loved how spacious the accommodation was as a large family was perfect for us and loved that you have so much space outside neighbours in the hut you can not see makes it feel extra special like you have the place to yourself.

Such a beautiful and tranquil setting. Everything you could possibly need for a very comfortable stay! It was very chilly during our stay, but there are loads of heaters and blankets to stay warm.

We had the best time and the lodge exceeded our expectations. It was warm and the beds were comfortable. It was also very spacious and the facilities were fantastic. It was close to Exeter so we did have a nice evening meal too. Joanna went above and beyond for us too.

Nothing at all! The hot tub wasn’t as hot as expected but we were late back and Joanne kindly lit it for us when we were in Exeter.
