Value against price

I like the location of place and the atmosphere. It is on the beach side. But take in mind that it is around 3 km from the bus and boat stations, also city center.

The weather in March is hot and humid. The female dorm do not have an AC and it felt hot and humid in the room too. Also no hot water in the shower. I did not need it but for some of you it might be important.

Chillen wie in den 68 ern

Die Lage, Sagar der chillige Besitzer, der mich mit seinem Motorrad vom Zug abgeholt hat. Für Hippies und Althippies das richtige, allen anderen würd ich abraten. Es geht schon seeeeehr chillig zu. Im Organisieren ist Sagar klasse. Die Hängematten laden zum entspannen ein. Das Richtige zum Abhängen.

Die Handtücher aus purem Kunststoff. Null saugfähig. Der Geruch im Zimmer. KEIN MOSKITOSCHUTZ.

Happy stay

Great vibe. Sagarito is always willing to help. And has great memory for languages. The place is not fancy but practical. You can use the kitchen, they provide drinking water, you can feel like home. Would come back

Amazing Stay in Alleppey

If you go to Alleppey, this is the right choice to stay. Friendly owner and Co- workers helped us with everything we need. Location is great, just crossing the street and you can have a morning swim in the sea or chilling at the beach. Extended here for 3 more nights, because we felt in love with this place and the amazing people around us. Thanks for everything.

The staff goes above and beyond to make the stay pleasant. Wifi works good. Beach is across the street.

A nice lazy week by the beach.

The manager is very kind and generous. On my last night there were several guests, and we had a lovely time with beer and food supplied by the host.

The bathroom could have been much cleaner, with soap and perhaps a working fan. The location is also rather a walk from the nearest restaurants, as it's at the very end of the winding street. Walking along this is also not so pleasant with all the motorbikes. But most of the time I walked along the beach, right by the hotel; this is still quite a long walk, but very pleasant, and the sunset views were spectacular.

nice people but not our vibe

Location was great, just next to the beach, staff were friendly and the funky art was cool!

the rooms felt a bit unclean and mattress was uncomfortable, the room look a bit different than the pictures, it’s more like a party vibe and not a place that really allows privacy

Good value. Best for those wanting to socialize with other travelers.

Host was very responsive and helpful by message.

Host was a bit pushy about wanting guests to book tours and participate in group activities. From the website pictures it looked like the hostel is right on the beach. It is, but behind a fence and across a small road. The location is still great for the beach (although a fair walk from town) but the photos were just a bit misleading. The lovely communal area is in the backyard behind a fence and not on the beach itself.

great for ahort stay and if you wish griendly company

The staff was super friendly and nice, the people in the hotel too. This is a backpackers place. top price for what it offers.

The garden was not very proper could be neater.

Very nice staff and people staying there Nice little chilling area outside Sagar was very helpful in getting us a houseboat at good price. He was kind and offering free coffee/tea/beers

We had two rooms. One bed was good and comfortable but other bed was rock-hard Kitchen was dirty Dogs look very unhealthy and dirty

Superb

located on a beautiful beach. our room was the ac double with the balcony and it was clean spacious and we were able to spot dolphins from balcony. very social atmosphere with lots of help from host from planning activities, booking autos, sorting meals and laundry. a great stay!

the tap in bathroom was a bit short so hard to wash hands.

great place at the end of the beach with great people

if you are looking for immaculately clean and hot water then this place may not be for you. If you are fine with basic accommodation and a great atmosphere then look no further. Saga the host here just wants everyone to have a great time. He encourages social interaction in the evenings and the vibe is super friendly. We stayed here two nights and met some lovely fellow travellers and had some great conversations. Nothing is too much trouble for Saga to organise for you he’s a really wonderful host.

Amazing.

Property are placed in front of beach where u can feel breeze, staff of beach house and most important "Owner" Sagar he is such a nice and humble person.he helped me alot. i m overwhelmed of his behaviour.

Superb

Sagar was very hospitable and goes out of his way to please his guests. He bought a cake for one of the female travelers and we waited until 12 to sing to her and have some cake. He gets the guests to mingle and has a lovely social spot for these get togethers. For my 1 night stay I had a very enjoyable time. The hostel is also in a very nice spot, 1 side the backwaters and the other the sea in front. Restaurants and shops are a bit far to walk.

Great location, great staff and good vibes. Basic rooms, but great value and pretty happy overall. Location was excellent and Sagar is a legend. He creates a great environment and brings people together. For the price, we were happy with the rooms!

Location, staff. Location is especially amazing if you like the beach.

Amenities. However, since the place is new and still building, I can give that concession. Next I visit, I am sure Sagar will have everything properly in place. I would request to have a small cafe on the venue, since hotels are a little far. Just basic tea, coffee, sandwiches type

It was alright

I liked the common area, the music they played from the speaker, the vibe of the other travelers, and how close it is from the beach. The guy who manages it is very friendly and helpful with anything you might need, including arranging the canoe canal tour, picking you up and dropping you off, and booking transport to the station. He even helped me with great aloe vera when a jellyfish stung me in the sea.

The property looks like it's still in construction, not modern at all. The dorm where I was has space for 3 people but the beds are very close to each other to the point that it's hard to move around and to place your luggage in a way that doesn't bother the other travelers. They have no lockers either.
