Disappointing

The beds were comfortable. It was useful to have a dishwasher and a washing machine. Location not central but well connected public transport and easy to get to the primavera festival.

The extractor in the kitchen was stuck on and only turned off when we were cooking, controls were broken. There was a lack of bin bags, dishwasher tablets and toilet roll (only one of each for a group of 4 for 5 nights) and when we requested more we were told we had to buy our own. The floors were quite dirty and there was some kind of red sauce on the walls in the living room. The dishwasher door was broken and would fling open which could be dangerous. The kitchen was badly equipped, with only a small chopping board and few pans for cooking. There was also only one set of keys which made it logistically difficult for a group of 4 people.

Beds of mails are painful to sleep on.

Two bathrooms was nice. Stock of toilet paper was plenty. Spacious. Shower pressure and temperature was good.

The king bed was the worst bed I have ever slept in my entire life of 60 years. Worse than sleeping on the floor and felt like a bed of nails. This is no exaggeration. Sleep on that bed for 10 minutes and tell me different. I had to sleep on the couch after the first night which also was not very comfortable but at least did not cause agonizing pain to lay down on. I slept not one wink the entire four nights. Ruined the entire stay. The other two beds were not much better. There was zero air circulation in the place without keeping windows open. Open windows are fine except when it's very humid, then it's miserable. There is no AC though the host signaled the controls for it. It's a point I missed in the list of amenities, but open windows are the only way to get any air circulation, presuming there is a breeze. At night, the noise from the restaurant directly one floor down was way too loud, so even if I could have gotten to sleep, the noise, especially between 11 pm to after midnight, was very loud and unavoidable. Traffic noise from the nearby road was also a constant above average distraction. Had to keep windows open all day and night so as not to smother in the place. The window coverings (drapes) are so thin they do nothing to block the streetlights from shining directly in the rooms at night. Yet, another problem for a good sleep, not that it mattered with the poor beds. The lack of comfortable beds completely erases anything good since without a good night's sleep, the rest is worthless. I give the host a good rating only because he was very nice and seemed genuine, but he did take an hour to get there despite stating twice via texts he would show up in 15 minutes, I started communicating with him well in advance (one day) of our arrival and yet, we had to wait outside for 45 minutes with all of our luggage for him to show after the 3 pm check-in time that we had agreed on. We were already tired from our trip from Lisbon.

Nice and simple!

Location was nice, very spacious and comfortable!

Some small signs of degradation on the walls and floor! But nothing special.

A good apartment with some minor things to fix for superb stay

1. Nice location 2. Clean house 3. Good staff

1. No toiletries were provided. 2. Sofa bed was not in good condition. 3. Some furniture, door handles were in very poor condition. Required handling with care otherwise you can break them. 4. Lots of mosquitos in the bathroom.
