We had a lovely time, but despite, not because of the hotel and the host. We loved Pyrgos and the local service/peop

The house is in a beautiful part of the island. Pyrgos is definitely worth visiting and we loved staying in the town. The room was spacious and clean, had good finishes and details and a welcome plate of fruit with a bottle of local wine.

The host was pushy before arriving about booking trips and transport for us, he was short and abrupt in person and unwilling to help when we had questions about the description online versus what the premium suite actually has. It was NOT as advertised and had NO sunset views (or any views actually) and many of the facilities mentioned (private beach) are not true. The hotel has no beach, there are no private beaches on the island - they just mean a beach open to the public that is quiet. There are many things they list as specific to the property that are a) island-wide and b) additional cost etc. we were unhappy with the advertised description versus what you get.

we arrived at night, Mr. Kimon was very pleasant and helpful he contact us before our travel and helped us with Airport transportation, he meet us on the flat location help us with luggage carrying as the flat at higher level. the flat was very big and clean with indoor covered jacuzzi which give it privacy. the breakfast restaurant had great view to the see. there is restaurant, shops near the location

Exceptional

Beautiful place with very kind and helpfull people running it. More beautiful than on the photographs. Water is reffiled daily and wine and fruits are for welcome. You can count on Kinon to provide all the info and organization you need.

5 star stay with views to match

Irene is absolutely the best and I have never met a hostess as kind, personable, and efficient as her (and we travel frequently)!!! She made everything happen for us from arranging transfers, restaurant recommendations and reservations, to using public transportation and schedules. We highly recommend Metaxi Mas for dinner. She responded quickly to our messages at all times of the day. She recommended a wonderful photographer for my daughter’s pregnancy shoot on the beach. We had an emergency where my daughter forgot her clothes at the room. She arranged quickly to have the taxi meet my husband at the bottom of the square to grab the clothes and get it to us in the beach quickly. Irene and her bellhop met us at the bottom and the bellhop walked us and the luggage up to Kastro Mansion. There were thick bathrobes and slippers for all of us in our rooms and 1 liter waters for each of us they restocked daily. The room was immaculate and fully stocked. The beds were so comfortable. Our deck view was the most memorable part of our stay. We did not need to leave our deck to watch the most famous sunsets Santorini has to offer. There were also view of blue domes, churches, and bells from our deck. The weather was 70’s with no clouds, light winds, and not very many tourists during the first week of November 2022. It was perfect for our 1st time visiting Santorini. Kastro Mansion was 5 star plus stay for us and I highly recommend Irene and Kastro Mansion.

Very spacious. Very clean and maintained. Great staff and hospitality.

Location, we had to climb 15 minutes to reach our suite. It's very hard with luggage. Hot water tub was not adjustable and cold at night.

Outstanding stay and a staff that goes above and beyond in Pyrgos!

The location is perfect, located in one of the less-touristy villages of Santorini. We’ve been to Santorini several times and enjoyed this just as much as staying on the Caldera, feels much more authentic. It’s set up on a hill with a perfect view of several adjacent churches and the surrounding area. There are also good and reasonably priced restaurants nearby. The property itself is impressively renovated and even better than the pictures reveal, a much bigger apartment than we expected. It was a real treat to stay in our 2-bedroom apartment. The best part about Kastro Mansion, however, was the staff. They were attentive from the moment we booked and arranged everything and provided a warm welcome. Additionally, we had a piece of luggage lost by the airline that showed up after we proceeded to another island. Irene made a special trip to the airport to claim our bag and arranged to have it delivered to us - phenomenal attention to detail and genuine care for their patrons by Kastro Mansion!

Apartments are located in the best part of the island, where history is knocking on your door. Irene, manager of the apartments, helped us feel very special and have a hassle free stay. From organizing pick up from the airport, giving us a splendid Calypso apartment (with hot tub) and a view, hints regariding where to eat and where to go, renting a car and more. Breakfast was served in a local restaurant located 50 meters from the apartment with a splendid view of the village and sea. Fresh bread, yogurth, jam, fried eggs, freshly squized orange juice, coffee, etc. and the easy talk with the owner gives you a feeling of being a part of the locals. Thank you Irene.

Amazing stay

We had such an amazing time! Irene is so nice and available if anything needed! The little city of Pygros is so cute and the people are adorable. We enjoyed our stay at Zeus suite. The view over the city is crazy: the sunset view from the balcony is really beautiful and you can even appreciate it in a bathtub ! Irene also gave us nice advices and showed nice places to eat in the city. Thank you so much Irène, we’ll be back for sure. Laurianne and Alexiane

Best place in Santorini

The view in the Zues suite is unparalleled, definitely worth every penny. Very comfortable accommodations, the breakfast was also enjoyable with a great view.

Initially I was placed in a different room than the one I booked, however this was rectified and we were given complimentary breakfast for the mishap.
