A Fabulous hotel with all the Amenities!

This is a lovely hotel with top notch management. The room was attractive, comfortable and clean. We had a walk- in shower. The pool area is lovely with many choices of hammocks, swinging chaises and chairs. This is a wonderful place and I would stay there again! It is convenient to the Caldera shops which is a plus. Dionysus and Georgia were so helpful every day. Breakfast was amazing too! Come here - you will love it!

Perfect in every way !

Hi all, we just had a great hotel experience in Santorini. If you’re heading to Santorini and are looking for clean, family run, great location accommodation check out Dream Island Hotel, Santorini. The owners Chris ( Christos) & Georgia (Giorgia) and their reception staff Kostantina & Dionysis are fabulous. The pool is fab, pool towels provided, laundry services available for a fee, breakfast is available also for a fee and rooms serviced every day. Dream island is in located in Fira and approx 300mts walk from the town centre. We stayed in a standard double room. Highly recommend.

I really enjoyed the place, the view, everything was great!

Dionysis the worker was a really nice guy! Excellent hospitality on his part, always making sure everything was ok and always smiling and having a good attitude! The cleaning women were gentle people, too. The place was really clean all the way through. They clean the rooms daily (some places don't!) and replace your glass cups and coffee mugs each morning.

The omelet was overcooked once. This might be a bigger deal than it seems because I only ordered breakfast from the hotel three times, but I couldn't eat the omelet that morning. The heating unit in my room (room 11) was situated above the bathroom and trapped all the heat there instead of letting it distribute through the room, but, thankfully, the weather got better. Laundry might be considered expensive (15.00 Euros) but they do it and fold it and everything, so I'm on the fence about that one.

Relaxing and quiet

Beautifully kept, friendly attentive staff and great location

walk down to the centre isn’t particularly nice and cars/bikes etc give no regard to pedestrians. There are no footpaths & there were a couple of near misses. There appears to be no rules of the road, just a free for all!

Great value hotel

The staff is very helpful and friendly. We walked every day to the town center so it's very easy to get around and a nice walk. The pool was clean and our grand daughter loved swimming. Very comfortable, quiet area. We didn't eat the breakfast at the hotel but chose to walk to the cafes close by to get coffee and breakfast. There's a restaurant next to the hotel that has excellent food also. Great hotel and we would stay here again if we are ever fortunate enough to get to go again to such a beautiful island!

Dreamy and Helpfull

I have to make a big shoutout to this amazing hotel, not only because of the accommodations but also the people running this hotel. Firstly, the accommodations: the bedroom was exactly like the pictures, the beds were so comfy, they were fixed to the ground in the same white material of the walls and ceilings, not making any noise… so beautiful! There was a skylight in the big bathroom, making much brighter than we were expecting! The room was connected with other rooms through a lovely patio where we eat our big and excellent breakfast (from which we could, arrange a good snack for the day!). If there was noise from the patio, we could hear it easily I admit, but everyone was respectful, luckily! The patio was a short stair away from the amazing pool, whit a big area to relax around the pool on those hot days (dreamy really!). The location is really central, from the bus station you have to walk a little bit, but it didn’t bother us (you have the possiblility to ask for transfer if you prefer!) And the sunrise... breathtaking! Everything was so nice; you won’t be disappointed at all! And last but not the least, the personnel… They helped us in a stressful time (a wallet was stolen/lost) and they guide as thought all process, arranging transportation to the airport in a late hour and such a short notice. We are deeply grateful for everything they have done for us. I’ll write here an important tip: if you travel to an island in Greece by airplane, make sure if you have to have a layover, make it in Athens. If your ID cards get stolen, if you have only a layover inside the country, you will only need to go to the police and get a paper (written in Greek). If that is not the case, you have to fly to Athens to your embassy and spend easily almost 100€ a flight (is way fastest than the boat) to go there and take care of everything you need, adding another 100€ to come back to the island. Is an all-day loss. Regardless all the setbacks, we highly recommend this hotel!

Excellent value and beautiful!

I was alone and stayed in a single room but it had a double bed. The room was nice but the pool area and facilities were excellent! The best value I have come across in Greece so far, and I have travelled here a lot. The pool area, decor, view, layout was beautiful. It was quiet and a short walk to the main town of Thira.

My room could have used a bit more table space for my things.

Dream Island is an excellent Hotel despite the couple of issues we had.

Everything excellent - rooms for my wife and myself and our three girls were well located - pool view and could see each other from our rooms and great pool location. Breakfast choice was excellent and delivered by a very pleasant young man on time. Beautiful morning sunrise.

Cooling system not as good as more modern system in our daughters room. A free shuttle service from/to airport should not be advertised if this service not available. Closure of reception at 10.30pm is not a good service - it cost us 50 euros to get from the airport to be on time to check in.

Staff so friendly. Pool lovely. It may be on the "wrong" side of the island, but you benefit from the sunrises and all day pool sunshine. Plus, three of the best restaurants are within a few minutes' walk (including the one at the top of the drive)

Amazing hotel with friendly staff

What a place to stay! They clean and change the towels daily, the staff treats you like royalty and they are extremely friendly. I couldn’t recommend more this hotel. Made our stay in Santorini dreamy. We are definitely coming back.

Gem of a hotel

Breakfasts fab and served to terrace of room. Small size of hotel. Terrace outside of room. Clean sheets and towels every day. Pool area lovely and beds available. Location of hotel fab.

We weren't Informed pool towels were available. AC not working in room..but not important to us. Busy road into centre of town but you can go up steps opposite hotel and avoid.

Gorgeous family owned hotel in awesome location

Lovely pool area. Great breakfast that you can select each day if you'd like, or get the same thing each day - delivered to your room at a time you choose. Super nice owners. Great location - 5-7 min walk to the village centre and to the caldera views Good restaurants close by.

Perfect

Really like the hotel and facility- well kept, tastefully decorated and loved the breakfast.

I liked everything but bear in mind it is Santorini so if you have mobility isdue you may want to consider staying at one of the beaches as it is very hilly, lotsof steps.

Great location, staff very friendly and helpful. They organised transport to and from the hotel for us. The rooms are very clean and airy. The pool area is large and there are lots of comfortable couches and sun loungers. Excellent location, only a 5 minute walk to the centre of Fira. Second time staying at Dream Island and would come back again!

Superb

This is an amazing hotel run by a family as we were told . Located in between Fira and Firostefani village , the comman area with pool offered amzing view towards sea (opposite to caldera direction). A special mention to amazing breakfast which you could change out of 4 options available .
