the overwater bungalows are fantastic.
Its hard to fault the amazinv beauty of this resort. The guests are 100% American - so not as diverse as rest of French Polynesia - and almost like being in the US versus Pacific island. And the shower area was not super clean anx Our coffee machine didnt work.. small things in what is otherwise Paradise.

i don’t know but prior the pandemic we used to stay a lot in the Four Seasons, perhaps we went to top locations like Serengeti, twice Maldives (even renew our vows there), Bali we went six of us (the entire family). Service was extremely nice. We were looking every year where to go so we can have a quality vacation. This time we experienced a change in LA and in Bora Bora, it was like you are staying in whatever resort, was not the FOUR SEASONS EXPERIENCE.

the bungalow was amazing! the property was beautiful. the Polynesian staff were extremely nice.
the concierge was extremely rude to us on our day of arrival.
it took forever to get in our room. we paid to stay late the last day but we did not get reimbursed for getting into our room late on day of arrival
we paid extra for a bungalow facing the mountain but our view from inside the bungalow was the lagoon. we had a side view of the mountain from the back porch

Everything!!! The most beautiful place we stayed at ever. It was our honeymoon and I'm so glad we left Bora Bora and Four Seasons for the end of the trip as it was the cherry on top. We were also surprised by an upgrade to a bungalow with the private pool🤩 we already planning to come back one day :)
Nothing.

The staff was so warm and friendly. They really made us feel welcome. The musicians at the traditional Tahitian dinner were amazing! Don't miss making a reservation for the Fish House Dinner.

Property is a bit dated but well maintained. It's the best on the island anyways - we've been everywhere, so we know

Great breakfast, facilities, and location. The food at two on-site restaurants was great too.
The furniture in the bungalow was a bit dated, showing signs of wear and tear. The air in our bungalow was quite damp and stuffy - maybe not surprising because it was literally over the water -- but I wasn't a huge fan. Opening the windows helped.

Excellent facility, service, location. Paradise on earth. Over the water bungalow was spacious and luxurious.. the common pool and beach should not be missed as they are excellent as well. The spa was like no other we have seen. The facility has 3 restaurants on the property. The staff is super friendly and attends to your every need immediately.

The staff was extremely friendly and catered to all my requests/needs. They were very welcoming and warm towards all the guests. The resort was beautiful as well, such a lovely view all around. Watching the sun set was an amazing sight to see from my bungalow. It said the weather would be raining all week but it was actually sunny and very nice most of the week with just a bit of rain.
